If you like Philly Cheesesteaks and have not tried Phat Jerry's, it is a must try! Perfectly tender and seasoned steak! The right amount of cheese, sweet and hot peppers, and onions! To top it all off, a really cool dude! He is located in the Pickle Ball Court parking lot off Gibson in Roseville tonight until 8pm, and is there often. I would recommend following him on social media to track where he is set up on given days. The picture attached is only half of my sandwich! A+ spot!

Well the inside is showing some age. The food was great and the service was fast. Nonproblem coming back here. Philly was great!! See our YouTube channel Coolest Life.

What others have said - this is a super solid spot for Philly Cheesesteak. Best I've found in Sac so far, just wish it was closer to home (prob better for my waistline). I placed an order for pick-up a few weeks back. Phat Jerry's is just off the Watt Ave / 80 Exit, located in a small plaza with a Starbucks and Fried Chicken spot. Parking was easy and staff was friendly with quick service. Inside was clean with plenty of seating. My Philly was PHAT indeed, I got the Super Philly Cheesesteak, their original 10" cheesesteak with 50% more cheese and steak. It comes with onions, sweet and hot peppers. I also added green peppers. For about $15 it was well worth the price for the amount of food. I split this was a friend and we were both completely full. It stayed warm on the ride home too. Already wanting to go back!

There aren't a lot of options for Philly cheesesteak in Elk Grove so when I saw their food truck at the weekly food truck Friday event at the park near our house, we decided to try it out. The guy calling out orders was interesting. He yelled out my name and I had to put down my drink in my stroller and walk over, I wasn't even that far but he kept yelling out my name over and over without any breaks or actually looking to see who was walking towards the truck. It was actually kind of embarrassing as if I wasn't listening or taking forever to come over, but I was already walking over. That whole situation was off putting. We ordered the philly cheesesteak fries, which came out to $18, definitely expected as standard food truck pricing. It was a good amount of meat on the mound of fries though. I wish they were different fries, as I'm not a huge fan of crinkle fries, just makes me think they were reheated from a frozen bag. Loved the onions and peppers on it though, they were nicely cooked and tender. But I really dislike nacho cheese and I think it's a cop out way to put cheese on something - if you're gonna be cooking the meat anyway, it would taste ten times better if it just had real melted cheese on top! Cheese is in the name of the product and I think it deserves the real stuff.

So I ordered the Super Philly, overall they got some good tasting food. Cheesesteak came out hot and fresh and tasted great. Bread was soft and the flavor was good. The garlic fries were crispy and packed with garlic and I'm not even a huge fan of steak fries. My only gripes were that I thought it'd be more cheesy for having "extra cheese" and the sandwich looked more like a 7 inch than the 10 inch that it said the Super Philly is supposed to be. Other than that though I was pleased with their food.

It would be great if I never had a philly cheesesteak, but I have had much better. It tastes a lot like animal style burgers from In n Out.

What are the "new" hours? I've come here on 7 different occasions and they are always closed even though the hours were updated within the past 3 months. This is absurd!

Do they make a thanksgiving sandwich?

Not that I am aware of.

Our server was very knowledgeable about the dishes and made recommendations, however it didn't work out so well with our food choices as the dishes were bland and lacking flavor. It was a disappointment. We had the cheesy bread and bruschetta which were delicious. The beet salad was just OK and the muscle spaghetti lacked flavor and taste while the chicken pasta tasted bland and uninspiring. We were so disappointed that we hurriedly packed up our dishes to go and didn't take a great picture of the food that was plated very nicely. Unfortunately, we decided we wouldn't come back to give it another try.

This location specifically at Arden has failed me too many times, most recently when I went for the Honey Pimento Sandwich (to go), and when I got back to work I was shocked to see the unappetizing and unacceptable sloppy runny yellow sauce making the sandwich soggy and certainly not reflective of the photo of the sandwich. I then sent my complaint to corporate, who then handed back to the store, who in turn gave me a replacement sandwich credit good for 8 days.......8 days, why would there be an expiration date on you replacing something you seriously messed up, I would not have served that to anyone, where is the quality control? It was fun trying somewhere new as we usually go to our favorites. For the past several years we've been going to Scott's for celebrations, but that has gotten old so thankfully we found somewhere new and loved it. I highly reccomend this restaurant. The ambiance is spectacular. If you can get one of the side tables under the overhang with the wine bottle chandelier you'll love it. Here's what we ordered: Borscht with Beef: Traditional red soup made with beets, beef, garden vegetables topped with sour cream- To me it didn't look appetizing, but it's a traditional dish so we split a cup. We didn't have much hope that would be edible. We were blown away trying it. It was actually good. We were shocked. It was so good. It was filled with pieces of tomatoes and beets and huge tender chucks of beef. Spinach Blini-Gluten free, vegetarian, 6 blintzes filled with spinach and creamy white sauce. We really enjoyed these Spinach Blini. They were very rich. I could only eat two to them and took the third one with me to share with my husband. He really liked it and wish there was more. I really wanted to get the Cherry Blini, but we were too full even though we shared an entree. I'm so disappointed as they looked so good. We needed a couple more people at our table so we could have tried more dishes and eaten everything family style. Beef Stew-Tender chunks of beef meat, potatoes, carrots, mushrooms and this good things stewed in perfectly hearty cheese gravy baked in clay pot and served with tortilla on top.
