Service at this restaurant is really good. The guy at the counter was doing everything, from taking orders, dropping off food, grabbing people extra napkins... Nice guy! This isn't exactly health food, but it's tasty! I really like the crinkle cut fries. They have a deal going on right now for chicken "slider," fries, and a drink for $9.99. That slider is huge! It's more like a small chicken sandwich. I liked the chicken waffle sando - It comes with a white sauce mac and cheese in it. Kinda crazy, but tasty.
You have to give this place a try. I really wasn't expecting much as I've driven by a number of times. I finally stopped in to grab lunch on a Saturday afternoon around 1:15pm. You order from the cashier & they will bring you your food. It's a simple menu not too much but it works! It wasn't too busy but there's tables and a bar area to dine in. I was pleasantly surprised that everything was really good. Service was awesome! I believe his name was Gonzalo or that's what the name on my receipt said. Super nice guy. I Ordered the hot tender chicken salad, combo 1, & Nash & tender fries. Loved all of it. The sauce is really good! Love the slaw on the slider. I wish there was more maybe I'll ask for extra slaw next time. Nice clean decent place and there's plenty of parking. They have weekly specials as well. I'll definitely be back soon.
Food: it's fine if you need a quick fix in EG. However, as someone who has had a lot of hot chicken here, this was not my favorite. Overall, it's a nice cut of meat, but it came out too well done. The chicken was dry. The breading, on some parts, had no texture (almost crusted flat) suggesting that it was cooked a bit too long. The breading easily comes off the chicken and was pretty tough. With each bite, I would pull off more breading that I wanted. I got it spicy, but it never got me reaching for my water or beverage. I got the tender and sando meal to get the full picture. The saving graces were the macaroni and cheese and fries. I enjoyed the sweet, salty seasoning on both and it was not overdone. The mac and cheese was actually pretty cheesy. I actually thought the bread for the sandwich was superb along with the accompanying slaw -- It reminded me of Hawaiian bread. Service: quick, counter service Ambiance: standard, no frills fast food vibe. It was clean, which I appreciated.
I'm not sure if it's the restaurants fault or door dashes fault. I ordered from DoorDash. 1 tender taco. 1 nashirito with seasoned fries. And according to the DoorDash menu. The nashirito comes with the special sauce. It got here. Once I took my order inside. I notice it's missing the fries and the sauce. And also. The photo on the app shows a burrito cut in two. What I got was an uncut burrito. I did report to DoorDash and they are refunding for the missing fries. But it was heavily disappointing to be missing something I paid for. Missing sauce happens. Or missing add ons. But missing fries that comes as part of the meal. That's huge disappointing. As for taste: Taco. There was a lot on it. It tasted fine. I probably should have gotten a higher spice level (that's on me). Nashirito: it definitely needed the sauce. When I did get to bite the chicken I enjoyed it. But you taste everything else more often than the chicken. The fried chicken should be the star of both. It's in the name. But it isn't. The coleslaw and sauce was the major component of the taco. The Mac and coleslaw took up the major component of the burrito. Not the best first experience. Considering there's more chicken places around.
Nash and Tender does not disappoint! I tried their spicy medium chicken tenders, and they were absolutely perfect. The chicken was juicy on the inside, crispy on the outside, and packed with flavor in every bite. The medium spice had the right kick, enough heat to make it exciting but not overwhelming. You can really taste the seasoning, not just the heat, which makes it stand out compared to other spots. The tenders came out fresh, hot, and cooked to perfection. If you're craving flavorful, crunchy tenders with just the right amount of spice, this is the place to go. Definitely recommend and will be coming back for more! Great and fast service too!!!! Will be back for sure!
Tired the loaded tender fries here. They were decent but nothing stood out too much about it. The fries were on the soggy side and portion size isn't that great for what it costs. Not a lot of tender meat in it either. Sauces and coleslaw were good.

I went back a couple of times, and the same gentleman helped the first time, and another lady the second time around. Once I got over my very first visit, it turned out to be a very pleasant experience on both visits. Now, I totally loved this place and definitely recommend it to anyone who wants a quick chicken fix.
We recently ordered from here through Uber eats especially because we wanted to try this new restaurant. We ordered a #3 with an extra sandwich in medium. We thought their sandwiches were flavorful, and their brioche was delicious. It had a little sweet with the spice. I could have personally done a little spicier, but I was content with my sandwich. The tender that the meal came with was much less spicier than our sandwiches--when they were all medium. Their fries were good, and the ranch they provide is a good serving. Other than that, we enjoyed our meal and will order again!
We were in the area and my husband and son wanted to try this place. It was in a very busy parking lot but there was plenty of parking. The place is small inside but there are tables to sit at. We ordered two meals and the portions are very generous. My husband had chicken and waffles with fries. The chicken is very good and you can pick the spice level. The chicken was very well seasoned. The waffles were very good. The fries were also good. Three of us shared and it was enough and we loved it. Definitely recommend and we will be back.
Looking for something a little different so decided to give this place a try. Quite an interesting vibe with this place. It wraps around a corner with a front and side entrance but still able to fit ample seating. The service was good and no frills. They took my order and it was pretty quick all things considered. We were the only people in at the time so your mileage may vary. What really made this a great choice was the food. I decided to try out the Nasharito (not on the menu), was an interesting and awesome tasting sandwich. I expected a mess but it was well made and all the ingredients actually worked pretty well. The Mac and cheese was really a highlight. Only issue is that the medium is not really hot at all. I recommend atleast the hot if you enjoy the heat. Everyone else loved their food and definitely have this place on my must visit again list!
Located in the Walmart parking lot, there is plenty of parking available and electric car charging, but the parking lot is a little wonky on the flow so drive carefully. Plan on spending about 12-16$ per person. Service was relatively fast and there is free drink refills. I had the 3 tender meal with fries and it was a lot of food. Wife had the Nash which is basically Mac and cheese, coleslaw, fries with some chicken on top and she liked it. Not gourmet but hits the spot

4.5! Not my usual go-to spot for lunch, but I'm always really impressed by their lunch deals and specials. The Nash + Tender Fries are a must get on Fridays! It's basically a loaded fry, topped with mac and cheese, coleslaw, pickles, chopped chicken tenders, and sauce. Savory and flavorful with a bonus: The fries still taste good even after they get cold! Overall, service is thoughtful. The paper to-go boxes hold heat well while also not trapping in moisture/condensation. Ordered to go. Orders a hit chicken slider combo. This conbo is the "sandwich" and seasoned fries and a drink. So unfortunately due to an egg allergy we requested no sauce and no slaw hoping the chicken slider would still be enough of a meal. I guess the slaw makes a difference because the slider without it was tiny and pitiful. Attached pics of the menu picture and what we got. The chicken still tasted good but this spot isn't for me. I think a slaw should be a condiment to the chicken not equal to or more important to the chicken. (Note- the staff was amazing! Patient with my questions and kind. As someone who often goes to the original Nash & Tender locations (Lodi and Stockton), this did not meet my expectations. I was excited to see that Nash and Tenders expanded their locations to Elk Grove, but the quality was abysmal in comparison. Service was also ok. Not very friendly. Food took quite a while to come out -- the longest I've ever waited. I thought it would be a quick meal and we would get out of there quickly but was proven wrong. The seasoning on the chicken was minimal and not spread out evenly, even though I had gotten the hottest flavor (Call the Firefighters). It was not very hot. The chicken was also dry and the breading didn't feel the same either. The bread didn't taste very fresh either. The seasoning on the fries were also not spread out evenly. It was only on the top layer and the bottom half of the fries were unseasoned. The lemonade was not sour and tasted watered down. Really disappointing because I love Nash + Tender's lemonade. It always paired well with the food, but not this time. There was not really a good ambiance as well. The mood of the store was depressing. Lighting was bad and the place felt a little run down. I came here at night, for reference. Also, I had to wait five minutes in the front to request a togo container before someone came by even though two employees (chef and other worker) were directly across the way and saw me waiting. They were chatting away and didn't even bother to say they would be right there. The chef I understand not coming to help, but the other girl was just chatting with the chef, playing around with plastic bags and not even really doing anything. I had to wait for another worker to finish cleaning up in the back to come help me and give me a togo container. It seemed like that employee was the only one really doing anything around the restaurant. They definitely run a tighter management in Lodi and Stockton. The vibe was just completely different here. I quite honestly regretted getting my entire meal and hated my experience. I would not come back to this location. It does not compare to the original two locations at all. read more

Ordered through door dash and I was shocked that it was made timely. The fam loved all of our food. We got everything from sliders, fries, waffles, Nash + tender fries, etc. I would say that the chicken was cooked perfectly and it was juicy. Fries were also seasoned well. Their sauce is good too. Decided to stop by one evening after work. Staff was friendly, and service was quick. I do wish the a/c was on it felt a little warm dining in given it was a warmer day outside. Food was okay, fries were crispy but i wouldn't mind more seasoning. Chicken sandwich had a breading that could use a little more seasoning as well but chicken was juicy. This place is located in a plaza with plenty of parking. It's a very small place with very limited seating. The place has more of take out vibes. The customer service can be improved a bit as well as their consistency with their food. My friends and I like coming for their Nash + Tender Fries on Friday. I usually get the mild spice level because I can't really handle spicy food but the last time I got their fries they were a little more spicy than usually. My friend's fries were super seasoned compared to mines as well. But overall food is decent and I'll probably be back to this place for more "late night food" vibes. read more

So glad a Nashville hot chicken place opened back up in EG. I got the #1 combo and it was super good! Medium spice is actually pretty spicy and I can handle spice haha. The buns that they use are kinda thick and I don't really like that but the chicken is still very good! Next time I go, I will be getting the tender combo. All combos come with fries and a drink. Inside this place is kinda small too. Workers are super nice also! read more

I don't normally leave reviews but since this is a new establishment, I wanted to give it a boost! I got combo #3 which came with a slider and tender on toast, fries (option of seasoned or plain), and a drink and my husband got combo #2 (2 tenders on toast). Drink options were Coke, Sprite, lemonade, or strawberry kiwi lemonade. We both opted for the strawberry kiwi lemonade which ended up being $1 extra each. We weren't made aware of the extra cost when we ordered but only noticed after we sat down. We didn't mind it too much since the lemonade was tasty, but it would've been a nice heads up! Fries were crispy and delicious with the sauce. The only downside is that we might've gotten the end of the batch since both our trays had a lot of crumbs rather than longer fries. Slider bun was a bit on the sweeter side which I wasn't a big fan of. The toast was super buttery, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The chicken itself was moist and flavorful with the seasonings. We both got the medium spice level but didn't think it was spicy at all (and my husband usually gets mild spice). Service was amazing! Our order was taken right away. Food came out pretty quickly. Two different people checked on us to make sure we were enjoying our meal.
