Korean Bim Bim Bap bowl, California cheese steak, regular cheesesteak.

Everything was delicious. I had the hot pastrami, wife got korean Bim Bibimbap bowl. Kids got cheesesteaks. Will definitely be back to try more of their korean food.

After years of going here, we still loved it. The traditional is always my go-to, and the price is still reasonable for what it is. We usually get wings and curly fries. The fries are always good, but the wings are dry sometimes, but it's a cheesesteak shop, so I'm not really pressed on that. The service is always good, and they have a self-serve pepper and condiment station. The place is always so clean, too. Although we've moved away, anytime we come back to Sacramento, we make sure to come by and support them.

Color me confused... We stopped by since we were in the hood, and on our way back to my side of town, to grad something to go. Locals rave about this place, and my review is based on a to-go order. The food is pricey if you're ordering a complete meal, which you do because you'll want one of the sides, and there is lots to choose from. The interior is cutely decorated, and there are plenty of options for seating. You order at the counter, you're given a number ( the same with to-go orders), and you wait. And wait. And wait. A nice couple run the place, and for the love of all that holy, please hire someone to help! We waited almost 40 minutes for a to-go order. Forty !! if we had not paid, this definitely would have been a walkout situation. It's just way too much time during a lunch hour. When you order the meal, it comes with your choice of size, which range from a variety of different fried foods from french fries, onion rings, to fried zucchini, and then some. Even fried shrimps. There's an up charge for most of these added items. The fried zucchini, despite the long drive, was still pretty tasty. I could've use some seasoning, but it was edible and came with a side of ranch. The curly fries definitely needed some seasoning. There are two different sizes of sandwiches, and a small looks like it's way too small, and large. It was one of those how much meat are they going to put in it. As it turns out, not so much. When we ordered, we specifically asked if the original Philly included mushrooms and onions. I was told yes, and when we got home, we discovered that one had fried onions and mushrooms, and the other one just had fried onions. Disappointing, considering how pricey the food is. I didn't find the meat to be particularly flavorful, and there was more bread then there was anything else. This is why I'm so confused. This place was packed. Locals definitely sick this place out for lunchtime dining, but they do so with the understanding that it's a sit and wait and see what happens experience. #IAin'tGotTimeForThat. I'm not sure if either one of us would go back, unless we wanted to try it again, and actually have a dining experience. Based on the cost, and everything else, it's definitely not a place that I would go running to. So why the four-star's? Because, at the end of the day this is a really nice couple trying to make their business work. They clearly work really hard , and I totally respect their efforts. I do believe that if they hired one person to help them out even during the lunch hour, things would be exponentially better.

Always very fresh and yummy! They give us a lot of fries with the combo. Clean restaurant and restrooms. Very helpful and friendly large menu selections.

Holy Moly this place has darn great cheesesteaks. Thin shavings of quality meats grilled up with chopped onions and served on a hoagie roll. They can make the sandwiches with sliced provolone, American, or the Philly styled cheese whiz. They have a pretty large menu of cheese steaks, hoagies, and appetizers. They even have salads: fruit, Caesar, and green. I had the original cheesesteak and opted for sliced provolone instead of the whiz. It also had grilled onions and green and red bell peppers. Dang it, it was delicious! I can taste that they use quality beefsteak. Seasoned well. Flavorful. They weren't skimpy in the meat. The bread was good as well. All the sandwiches come with onions, so if you do not want onions, please tell them. They even have a cute reminder sign at the register. The place is family ran. They work the orders quickly. The place is in newish small strip shopping center. The interior is clean, basic, and modern. We got there right before the lunch crowd. They seem to have regulars that they know them by name which just adds to the charm and welcoming vibe. If this was closer to where I live, hubs would definitely be a regular.

My boyfriend and I decided to stop in for date night after getting my nails done with Bee at Sassy Nails & Spa since it was literally right next door and we heard great things! I ordered the Hot Pastrami Combo with Curly Fries & Fuze Natural Raspberry Ice Tea. This is one meaty hoagie, the flavorful pastrami is absolutely mouthwatering, I love the grilled onions, the provolone cheese is amazing, all on a nice soft bun! Definitely great size for their regular, no need to order a large! The fries were seasoned fries, which are my absolute favorite FYI, super good! The tea was of course refreshing and sweet! I would HIGHLY recommend this sandwich spot and we are definitely looking forward to returning to try more of their drool-worthy menu! Support local!

The space is big with a lot of seating at tables, high-tops, & booths that can accommodate a few diners or a big party. Natural light comes in through large windows. Music from the 80's & 90's played. TVs around the perimeter played Atmosphere TV. The menu is posted above the counter. You can order at the counter or using a kiosk. They have self-serve Coca-Cola fountain drinks, including Gold Peak Teas. Napkins & condiments are also self-accessible. We got a 12" French Dip with 3 oz of extra meat & extra cheese, & a Supreme Cheesesteak. Food was served piping hot & brought out to our table. The mister liked the French Dip & thought it was tasty with a beefy jus that wasn't salty. However, he said he would order something else next time. I liked the Supreme. It had tender meat, good texture on the veggies, & was cheesy. The bread was nice & soft, but the flip side is that it impacted the structural integrity of the sandwich as I ate. The Fries were wonderfully crunchy. I liked dipping them in fry sauce & Ranch dressing. The mister's sandwich was served with a pickle spear that I took a bite of, but it was not good--fibrous, not juicy, & not very sour. The staff we encountered were friendly. We got checked in on a couple of times. The dining space was well-maintained.

Comfort food option in Downtown [Roseville CA]…read more Stopped by for a late lunch. The menu was inviting and it took awhile for me to decide. Luckily, it was a slow day. This is a counter service restaurant so we order at the counter and will be given a buzzer when the food is ready for pick up. I chose the Mushroom Burger. Grilled mushroom, lettuce, tomato, swiss cheese, and Thousand Island dressing cooked just the way I like it. There's a variety of other offerings including salads, sandwiches, hot and cold subs, grilled chicken sandwiches, burgers and wings. You can choose fountain drinks or canned sodas. Booths and table seating available. Personally, I like sitting at one of the tables by the window. It's a little elevated so watch your step. Located in Old Downtown in Roseville. Street parking but there is also a parking garage available by the post office. It's just a little walk across the Vernon Street Town Square though. Instagram: @vernonstgrill Review #4016
