Now unless the handwashing sink is in the kitchen, she did NOT go to the restroom and wash her hands. The stickiness on the table could not be wiped off-even after asking the cashier to clean it. The a/c is on the way out; probably needs freon, so the dining room was not comfortable at all. Enough for at least 2, the combination noodles were fresh, hot, and full of fresh veggies. The beef was a little weird, as it had a strange film or coating, as did the chicken and shrimp. The noodles were chopped, not sure if the was intentional. We also had the pleasure of talking with Mr. B, who shared his vision for the restaurant and how he wants it to be different. You can genuinely feel the love, pride, and passion he has poured into this place--not only in the atmosphere but in every bite of food. Following some of his recommendations, we started with the chicken gyoza. They were perfectly fried, crispy on the outside, and packed with flavor. For my entrée, I ordered the tofu yellow curry at spice level 4. Let me tell you--it was SPICY! But it was also absolutely delicious. I can't wait to order it again, although there are so many other menu items I want to try too. Jason ordered the chicken Pad Thai. He's extremely picky about noodle texture and thickness, and he devoured every single bite. He ordered spice level 3, which was almost too much for him, but that didn't stop him from cleaning his plate! Of course, we had to finish with the mango sticky rice, which was my favorite part of the meal. I poured every drop of that sweet coconut sauce over the rice and mango, and there wasn't a trace left on the plate. We even used the extra sauce from the gyoza in our dishes because everything was just that good. There's a reason Rumdoul is sitting close to a 5-star rating. The food is incredible, the service is wonderful, and the passion behind the restaurant shines through in every detail.
