    Jerk Chicken

Good jerk chicken. It's juicy enough that it doesn't need sauce. Nice and spicy. The spice isn't overwhelming (at least if you have a tolerance). Big portions. Good prices. I wish jerk pork was available.. been there 2-3 times with no luck. *updated* the curry goat is very good, even better than the jerk. It's nice and spicy, it's flavorful, and you get a good amount of gravy. Good price and good portion as well.

This is a very small restaurant on a side street that has really good food. The prices are good for the portion received. They seem to have a good local following. As for the dining area, there are only three tables. All of the people I saw were there for take out.

probably one of the best Caribbean spot on long island, chicken is never dry and the rice peas taste good by itself.

I am glad they do delivery. It was what I needed, and it was good. I would have loved some more green bananas though

The food here is good. My favorite dish is the stew chicken. They give you a nice portion size that can last you for two meals.

I enjoyed my dish very much and I knew I had to try the jerk chicken next time based on seeing what my boss had.

I've been coming here since they opened a few years ago and I recently was going to try a new place…read moredown the street but my meal last night reminded me to stick with them! The oxtail was falling off the bone and well seasoned, the rice and peas was "Shelly" and flavorful with a hint of pepper. And I love that they started including plantain with the meal, please keep it up. The service is always quick and pleasant when I do pick up orders and the restaurant is always clean and vibrant.

I've visited this location many times back when it was a different establishment, but eventually…read morestopped going. When the new restaurant took over, I kept hearing great things and decided to give it a try. My husband had actually been bringing food home for a while, he goes to the barbershop across the street, and every time I tasted it, I was impressed. I finally went myself and ordered the escovitch fish, and it was absolutely worth it. It was made fresh to order and was hands down the best escovitch fish I've had from a restaurant in a long time. I also tried the fried breadfruit, cornmeal porridge, beef patties, and ackee and saltfish, everything was delicious. The rum punch is amazing as well! I'm really looking forward to going back to dine in because I'm beyond impressed. It's not easy to find truly authentic and flavorful Jamaican food on Long Island. Usually, you have to travel to Brooklyn or Queens, but honestly, this place competes with and even surpasses many spots there. I truly hope this restaurant continues to thrive. It's refreshing to experience such high quality food and passion in every dish. Big up to the chef, you're doing an incredible job!
