Chef Schonberg is phenomenal!! She is a class act! From the time you order to the time you pick-up or get your desserts delivered, it's professionalism all the way. I placed my order online and she got back to me with the total and I paid her via Venmo. My pick-up window was between 9:00-10:00am on a Saturday and she had it ready immediately for me. I ordered her cupcakes: strawberry lemonade, Oreo and chocolate raspberry. I also ordered chocolate-dipped items: pretzels and rice crispy treats. Everything was not only perfectly made aesthetically, but they were so scrumptious. I made sure to try a bit of all the desserts I ordered. Next time, I want to order her strawberry cake because I've seen it in photographs so many times, but I've never had a chance to order it for myself. I'm so used to dry, stale, and powdery cookies from work that I picked up one of these (naked) chocolate chip cookies ready to bite into something as hard as a stale baguette and stumbled over the first bite-- it was so soft! And the chocolate was amazing (I've bitten into a several chocolate chip cookies that tasted like tootsie rolls). My SO doesn't care for chocolate much, but even he was reaching for another cookie. ^o^ And the packaging (they deliver btw)! Everything was packed neatly! So I think I have a new favorite bakery. I purchased a dozen cupcakes for employee appreciation week at work and they were so delicious! This was my first time ordering from this bakery and I loved the experience. The owner was even so sweet as to send us a thank you card which me and my coworkers adored. The only thing I would change is I would add more vanilla cupcakes to the daily menu, it was hard to get a variety of both chocolate and vanilla because there were more chocolate than vanilla options. Also some of my coworkers are older so telling them the names of some of the cupcakes was funny but also a little embarrassing. Lol we all laughed it off though and the cakes were so great that the direction of the conversation would always immediately shift after they took their first bite. read more

Birthday Surprise Ruined! My husband reached out to this vendor to deliver and surprise me with some sweet treats at work for my birthday. Shortly after lunch our receptionist called me to her desk for a phone call. The caller was Chef Schonberg asking me if I received a package I told her no. I asked her what was it she kept asking me vetting questions to see if someone else in the office may have received it. While there with the receptionist we both confirmed no package was delivered. She told me they were trying to deliver me a package for my husband and they have a few new drivers so they may have taken it to the wrong building. She asked for my cellphone number so she could reach me once she got to the bottom of things. Immediately I call my husband and asked was he sending me a package and what is it! He wouldn't tell me. This is when he learned there was an issue with the delivery. It was later confirmed her husband delivered the order to the wrong office. So, the surprise has been ruined and my husband was unsatisfied with the service received the whole while he didn't want a refund he wanted to have what we all know as Customer Satisfaction! He asked her how was she going to make it right. She remade the order after some back and forward. My husband called me and asked me if I could wait for the order to be redelivered after the time I normally leave work I said yes in attempt to give Chef Schonberg a second chance. While waiting I began to get very disappointed and regretted telling my husband I would wait. Upon the arrival of Chef Schonberg she entered my office with the desserts still in her car and there was some back and forward if I would take the order I not. I wanted the order because my husband purchased it for me. She insisted if I wasn't satisfied she didn't want to leave it with me. I had to practically beg her to give me what was supposed to be a surprise from my husband. After accepting the cookie arrangement no words were exchanged and I went to my desk. A few moments later a colleague of mines gave me the card that went along with the arrangement that Chef Schonberg gave her to pass to me. So I immediately dropped my head started crying and called my husband told him I was sorry but I didn't want the arrangement because the surprise factor was over and I was no longer excited about my birthday surprise. I called her she didn't answer. He called her and asked if she come pick the arrangement back up and refund him since everything was ruined from the time she called me to ask me if I received it and from the time her husband delivered it to the wrong building. She came back to my office. I came to her with the tray all she said was "can you state your name for verification purposes" (while holding her cellphone in my face) I stated my name for her and she proceeded to give me a cash refund for my husband. (He paid for it and it should have went back to his card) However, I told her thank you went back to my desk and prepared to leave the office. Not once did she apologize to me for the error on behalf of her company. This was all on 10/21/19. Day 2! 10/22/2019. Around 5pm I left the office and asked the neighboring business did they receive a dessert arrangement on the previous day. They told me no. I then called Chef Schonberg in a very polite and calm manner and asked did she find out which business the order was delivered to? She told me yes the company that received it in error emailed her and apologized for any inconvenience. She stated she told them to keep the arrangement and they placed an order for future business. The company that received it seemed very remorseful. I asked her the company's name she said she wouldn't give to me because they are now her client. Ok, no big deal. The previous evening I sent her a text asking for at least an apology. She told me she apologized to my husband but wasn't apologizing to me because I wasn't her client. I told her I was the intended recipient, it was my birthday and yes I deserve an apology! Duuhh! She then told me my call was bullshit! A heated exchange began and I hung up. She called me back 1 time I didn't answer she called me again and I answered. She asked me where was I because she's at my job and I'm not there and she is about to show me retarded and whip my ass! I told her I'm on my way home she asked asked me again where! I didn't reply to her where. Again, she then threatened to put her hands on me again after she stated she was at my office. I told her I was going to leave a review she said she would leave one on my husbands business. She then told me there was more to the story and I was all about me so she couldn't tell me the full story. So, she stated " woman to woman your husband was flirting with me asking how was I going to satisfy him."! She told me my husband was flirting with her while her husband was listening! Oh, and did I mention that it was also over Memorial Day weekend that I reached out?! Talk about hoops to jump through...well, Chef Schonberg immediately responded to my inquiry and told me that she would make it happen! She was very generous with her time consulting me on the steps we would take to put this event together. She made it so effortless! The hardest part was choosing from the list of cupcakes available because they all sounded amazing! My only regret is that I cannot be there to sample them in person!
