We had a reservation for 6pm and walked in and got right to our table, with drinks shortly following. I ordered their espresso martini, which was very solid. For an appetizer I ordered their soup of the day (clam chowder) and entree was the orange roughy in a lemon cream sauce, with wild rice and broccoli on the side (and my wife got the prime rib - WOW!). Both were EXCELLENT - wish the portion sizes were bigger honestly on mine! For dessert we all split the lemon mascarpone cake and cheesecakes, which were devoured. Then, because it was one of those rare warmer nights in February, we went outside and sat in front of the fireplace and drank a bottle of wine and hung out for an hour or two. Our server and the manager were absolutely awesome and hit all the high points. Definitely a great experience all around. Only SLIGHT downside was the parking lot around back, which was totally full, but can't really fault Green Line for that. We found street parking not far away. Five stars for Green Line - 100% will be back!

They had just had a storm roll through and were experiencing a bunch of power outage problems, and the staff were able to pivot well around this issue. Which for me wasn't really an issue, because I like sitting in a darkened room anyways and I thought that was just the ambiance they were going for. I kicked off with a Buffalo trace martini and whooooo was it good and definitely a martini to be sipped and enjoyed. I followed that then with their shrimp cocktail special that I was not prepared for it to come in an actual cocktail glass and they officially have made the most gorgeous shrimp cocktail I have ever ordered. My server was super awesome and she suggested I also get their bread basket because she's heard great things about the truffle butter and sweet butter that come with it and let me tell you all something. The truffle butter was good, but the sweet cream butter I would gladly eat on everything the rest of my life, it was that incredible. For my main course I ordered the prime rib that they're known for and while I liked it, I wish I'd asked for it to have been cooked a little more than medium well, but that's just my personal preference and I knew I should have gone with what I normally do. The sides were fantastic and paired well with it, and I also got a side of their vegetable risotto which I ate for breakfast the next day without shame. I then finished the meal off with the delectable lemon cake you see pictured here and it was so smooth and delish. I basically had to roll out. I will be sure to visit again the next time I'm going to Louisville!

What's striking about the restaurant itself is how quiet and calm it feels. With limited nightly seatings and every dinner table doing the tasting menu there's a sort of orchestrated flow that permeates the space. Not to say energy is low or it's so quiet you feel self-conscious talking; it's just that nothing about the experience feels rushed or accidental. As expected, the bread course was phenomenal as was all the food we enjoyed! We opted for the wine pairing along with dinner, which results in about 1.5 or 2 full glasses over the course of the meal. The sommelier did an excellent job introducing and explaining each wine, as well as why it was selected to pair with each course. All told, a lovely experience and one worth repeating--and not just because the menu changes every season.

Each course was like a piece of art on the plate! This is one of those special 'splurge' places that leaves you wanting it again. The space is small and cozy seating only around 20 people.

Service wasn't the fastest, but everyone was friendly and welcoming. What really stood out for me was the vegan menu. I was genuinely excited to see solid options, and I'd absolutely go back just to work my way through more of them. I ordered the Vegan Chardonnay pizza -- bianca sauce, roasted garlic, roasted mushrooms, sun-dried tomatoes, vegan cheese, and rosemary. I'm usually not a white sauce person, but this one completely won me over. It was rich, flavorful, and balanced in a way that made every bite interesting without feeling heavy. The crust was also excellent -- that perfect mix of airy and crisp. Bonus: the leftovers reheated surprisingly well in a dry pan on the stove. The only downside was the garlic... and I mean seriously heavy. I smelled like garlic for a full 24 hours afterward, despite brushing, mouthwash, showering, and mints. Not subtle. Still, I'd order it again without hesitation. Worth it.

We wanted to try something new, to us…read more We decided on Cork N Crust for a meal with some friends. The pizza is very good. We had a Chardonnay and a Bellevue pizza along with an apple dessert pizza and some meatballs as an appetizer. The pizza was great. Generous toppings, nice sauces, thin but not crispy crust. The apple pizza was okay. Dare I say on par with CiCi's apple pizza, only smaller and much more expensive. The meatballs were tasty, decent marinara. But the balls were small. For the price I expected something bigger. Service was adequate. The dining room was comfortable. We found street parking right in front. Not sure if they have a lot. Overall, the move from three to four stars was the pizza. A little pricey, but worth it.
