Yesterday, I went, with the back of my SUV filled with assorted fluids and headed for EDCO. When I arrived at 10:00am, the line was already blocks long, extending around the corner of Spring Street , almost to Atlantic Avenue! Yikes! There are lots of street attendants directing folks. The one I spoke with assured me that the line moves quickly. He was right! This is a very efficiently run process, only available two Saturdays each month (check their website). When you pull into the disposal area, several men open your back hatch and quickly remove all of the items that you need to safely dispose of. And then, you are on your way...with the wonderful feeling of accomplishment that cleaning out AND properly disposing potentially dangerous items brings! Hint: Find out what time they are opening (usually 8 or 9am) and get there early.

I googled this spot because I finally got tired and Marie-Kondo'd my place. You have to dispose of E-waste correctly vs just chucking it into the regular trash. I removed hard drives then took two towers, a monitor, a keyboard, and a smart watch here. Finding the spot wasn't difficult (although traffic may be weird on Anaheim with specific turns and trucks stacked up). There's a visible sign that points out their driveway of sorts to pull into. Do not pull all the way in unless you're capable of backing straight out/aren't concerned with them being busy. =p I walked in, told the guys there I had some stuff to drop off and they followed me out with a clipboard. They unloaded the towers and everything for me. They had me sign for the monitor (I believe due to components within it?) and the entire process was done in 5 minutes max. It was beyond easy.
