Was excited to try a new Chinese restaurant and came to Chen's Dynasty....when we arrived, the restaurant was empty, we were greeted by (I'm assuming the owner) a little lady, she was VERY friendly & attentive the whole time, however, the food was kind of bland, the rice was cold, as if it was old, they were out of tea, and almond chicken, they were also out of shrimp, and we found that out AFTER ordering our meal and had to substitute an egg roll for shrimp, does not seem price equivalent in my opinion. Was looking to get lunch in the area and found this place. The woman who waited on me was very sweet and checked on me a lot to make sure I didn't need anything. I ordered the lunch special, which came with soup to start. I got the hot and spicy chicken - it was very good with a lot of fresh vegetables and the perfect amount of spice to allow you to enjoy the heat, while still tasting the other flavors in the dish. read more

Service is always excellent, very friendly staff. The food was very delicious and was reasonably priced. I would recommend as one of the best places to eat in Keizer. My husband and I have been eating their takeout for years! It's always consistently yummy. Our favorite go-to menu items are crab puffs, beef and broccoli, fried rice, bbq pork, orange chicken, sweet and sour pork, wonton soup, egg drop soup. If you live in Keizer they deliver, but are closed on Tuesday's. We have never eaten at the restaurant, so I can't say what they're doing for Covid precautions, but the delivery guy is always wearing a mask. Actually, writing this review is making me crave it. The sauce is soooo good, seriously I've tried to replicate it at home with no success. The staff is all super sweet. Lunch on a rainy Saturday. Came in around 2 PM and only 2 other tables. Service was friendly and welcoming. Food was typical Chinese-American fare. Hot and Sour soup was actually quite good. We ate here frequently before Covid and was satisfied with the service and food. We returned recently for the first time after they reopened for dine in.The dining room was empty except for kids playing and fighting loudly in the dining room. We received no crackers with our soup, and no tea because "the machine was broken". I've been here a couple of times....I'm less then impressed. The service is pretty poor. It seems to take forever to get someone to come back and take an order, and my beer was somewhat warm. Getting another one took a while too. The employees are nice, when you get their attention, and I think it's a family run business, which I always try to support, but... The food is...alright. Great little restaurant, tucked in a strip mall. We've only dined in the restaurant a few times, but we've enjoyed their food delivered many times. They self-deliver in Keizer, and we always have our food delivered by a personable and pleasant man. Really great service and delicious food. Has great food BUT.. 1. Takes forever to take phone orders!! You have to *constantly* repeat yourself, whether theres blaring background noise or not! 2. Hard to understand what they are saying to you. Between the strong accent, broken english & talking really low... 3. After ordering almost $30 worth of food, they still charge a delivery fee, yet won't deliver unless you order $25 or more! We're 2 1/2mi away! 4. We've ordered from them twice before but after this last experience, (3rd time) its time to find somewhere else to spend our $. 5. Ordered the food, gave our address for delivery & debit card info.. (this all took 15 mins). About 15 mins later they called saying they couldn't deliver! Are you kidding me? Yet, they wasted no time to charge my debit card the $30! Ordered take out for the first time from there today. Very disappointed. We ordered Bbq pork, vegetable egg rolls, potstickers, sesame chicken w/ pork fried rice and egg flower soup. The only part of our order we enjoyed was the potstickers. We didn't even want to taste the bbq pork because the smell was rancid and the color was off. The egg rolls had very little filling, we each had one bite of the 3 pc order and threw them out. No flavor to the egg flower soup and the pork fried rice was SO obviously old I had a bite to taste but spit it out and then continued to throw out the rest of the food. $37+$4 tip. Will not go there again. I was willing to try something new and closer to my place but will resort to making the drive a place I KNOW is good. read more

We ordered delivery last night and the customer service and delivery time was awesome. The person who took my order over the phone was extremely nice. We got orange chicken, Mongolian beef and two items from the children's menu. The food was delicious and the portions was huge. We ate last night, packed some leftovers for my husband and the container for the orange chicken is still half full!! We will definitely order from them again in the future. read more

I have ordered take out from Chen's many times. It has gradually declined in quality. Today was the last straw. I ordered a combination meal that had chicken sub-gum chow mein. It has always had way too much zucchini in it, but tonight it was just zucchini, onion, and a little chicken. Totally disgusting. I won't be ordering from them again. read more

Update: so I drove over there to place an order- they are closed on tuesdays. It's a little frustrating that it wasn't posted anywhere online or on menu's. This is the first time we tried this place. I love Chinese food but I tend not to stray from the places I already know I enjoy. But it was close and we thought why not give it a try. We ordered several different items to go and brought it home. Let me start by saying bland, bland, bland. The pork fried rice and pork chow mein were both void of any pork and the sweet & sour chicken was void of much sauce. I will say the veggies seemed very fresh and just cooked which I did like. The Kung Pao chicken was spicy and again the veggies were fresh and good but the egg flower soup was also very bland. We tried to spice it up with soy sauce, salt, pepper and hot mustard but it wasn't much help. We probably won't be back her again anytime soon. read more

Take out Monday! Could not be more pleased with the quality and portion size. They even had the 'old school' hot mustard to mix in your sauces. Orange chicken was fresh and I'll have to finish my left overs tomorrow..big portion size. Egg foo young was a large portion size too and had tasty gravy like how it's supposed to be made. I ordered my food over the phone and my order was complete and correct. The food, which I had high hopes for fell very short of the mark. I read some of the previous reviews expecting some very tasty food instead what I got was food that was actually kinda bland. I got orange chicken, broccoli and beef, white rice and fried rice. The orange chicken was slightly dry and not too well seasoned. The broccoli and beef was lacking in flavor. I was hoping for great food instead what I got was nothing but regret.
