EVERYTHING!!…read more I had been wanting to transform an area of my front yard by my front porch for over 20 years that was next to my long sidewalk. the area was filled with dirt, huge hedges, and a short row of smaller hedges and a few otter plants. As I got older, they were a PITA to maintain and THE WEEDS!!! They were a nightmare! So, I saw ads about this company and decided to get an estimate to turn this ugly, weed garden into my dream courtyard (hopefully). They made me a quick appointment that fit my schedule and sent out the coolest, most professional and accommodating, friendly guy, Jim. Jim spent time with us, showing us the product they use and beautiful catalogs on both the paver choices and the sitting wall styles. He listened to my idea of how I wanted the project to look and gave me the perfect courtyard plan that he knew would make me happy. I had already purchased a big arbor I wanted integrated into my courtyard's opening, and he assured me it would be accommodated. He was the best salesman I've ever had come to the house and he gave me a really great quote as well in the cost! The crew who came out met with me on the first day of the project (along with the Project Manager. Mr. Gomez (who is simply amazing!). And they went over what they were going to be doing that day and how long they predicted the project would take to complete. Well, they worked on our project for three days and worked very hard and did everything exactly the way I wanted it and actually installed the arbor to perfection!!! Roberto showed up with his crew promptly at 6:30am on the scheduled day and was hard at work by 7:am. They broke out the old concrete, added soil, gravel, compacted it and reinforced with rebar, that was tied into my existing concrete, Its level, stable and not going anywhere. The quality of work was top notch. They throughly cleaned up after the job. Communication with Ana was great. Replies to questions and for documentation were very prompt. Kept me updated throughout. Unlike so many, where the individual who initially met with you to assess the work, is nowhere to be found on the day of the job, Roberto was there all day, working with his crew. Because I'm one victim from the reviews. I contacted Roberto for a concrete project back in fall 2025. He and his wife were both really responsive and on time for onsite estimate, scheduling and show up for the work. His explanation sounded professional but maybe because I had no experience in this area. After completing the work everything looked good "on surface ". Yes freshly finished concrete job always looks great. However within a few months issues kept coming up. There were cracks appearing and they became bigger pretty quickly. In addition the slope was done incorrectly that led water flowing towards the house wall and puddling around the house which was a big concern to the foundation. This project failed totally and I contacted Roberto to see how to fix. They showed up to remove the damaged slab. And the cause all appeared to be true as assumed. There was no base built underneath the slab which should a really critical step. The ground was not compacted at all. There was no gravel used. These are all the reason why the concrete failed because they didn't follow the standard at all. Be really careful about their job because they cheated as they assume you don't know. I asked them to redo this with quality and Anna was being really rude to me yelling on the phone. I just hope that they could remedy for the failed project which they admitted what was done wrong. Please stay with this company to avoid long term problems. Red flags: finishing job so quickly because cheating on necessary steps . Quoted lower amount because cheating on materials needed

John came out the same day that I called early in the week, we agreed on a price, and his crew was able to complete the work on Thursday / Friday of that same week. The finish product looks great. They were able to do all the stem walls and step along with the garage floor and did an excellent job applying the epoxy coating and flakes in the corner by the water heater. One of the main reasons I went with them was all of the good reviews they had; they didn't disappoint.
