We had such a great time! I always send out a survey to my team regarding the annual event and every bit of feedback I received regarding the Iron Chef Experience was 100% positive! The experience was well organized, well managed, and in a great facility. All of the food was amazing and I feel some great bonds were formed across all areas of my department. Very disappointing experience…read more Our son has special needs and a very limited diet. The last time we were here, we were told something regarding bringing food for him, so this time I called ahead before coming to ask if we could bring his French fries in that he would eat. I specifically called because I wanted to respect the restaurant and avoid any issues. I explained the situation to the manager. I was told they have a kids menu, but none of the options on the kids menu are foods our son will eat because of his extremely limited diet. I explained that and asked if we could simply bring food that he can eat. The answer was still no. We weren't trying to get around the rules or avoid purchasing a meal. We called ahead, explained the situation, and asked for a simple accommodation so our son could sit with his family and eat. What was most disappointing was the lack of understanding or willingness to work with us. Saying "we have a kids menu" doesn't solve the problem when a child with special needs cannot eat any of those options. We made every effort to handle this respectfully. Unfortunately, that same consideration was not extended to our family. We will not be returning.

I ordered a 5-piece Catfish, an order of hushpuppies, and a small coleslaw via their website, and had less than 10 min. wait for my order, after they recooked my order (it had mistakenly been held too long when they didn't realize I was in the parking lot, due to the large group, not a normal occurrence). One tip that Ms. Virginia (the owner) gave me for longer road trips (over 40 mins.) was to, instead of ordering a pickup online, order at the counter, and then the fish will be fried and hot (instead of fried and sitting waiting on me to pick it up), which makes it even fresher by the time I get home.
