We hired Cherry Pools to install our Latham fiberglass pool (Enchantment model), and we're extremely happy with how everything turned out. Our project wasn't simple. Our lot has a high water table, and the City required additional engineering and site-specific work. Because of that, we did have to pay extra for the additional work the city required, but that was not Cherry Pools' fault at all. They were very clear and upfront about what was on their control and what's not, like excavation of rocks and site specific challenges as we did ask in detail. All inspections were easy and they know the city staff well, so that helps. As clients, we asked a lot of questions about timing, and Cherry Pools was very honest with us from the beginning. They explained that the City can take its time with permits -- approval could come in as little as two months, or it could take up to five months and we had neighbors that took much longer-- and that this was completely out of any contractors control. We appreciated that transparency. Even with the extra city requirements, Cherry Pools worked closely with engineers and the City and pushed hard to get our pool delivered and installed as soon as approvals were in. The quality of the work is excellent, and the Enchantment pool is absolutely beautiful. There were no surprise price changes from them, we did ended up adding salt water, auto fill and a pool cover and we loved it! But it was my wife's decision to add and not a contractor price change. If you want a pool builder who is honest, knowledgeable, and willing to navigate city red tape while keeping clients informed, Cherry Pools is a great choice. I found Cherry Pools on here and was very impressed with their service. Our pool heater wasn't working and I was surprised how at how fast Glenn responded to my email. He was polite, professional, and knowledgeable about pool repairs. I was kind of bummed that the heater couldn't be repaired, but Glenn gave me details about three different heaters, how much each cost, which one would work best with the other pool equipment, and what he would go with if it was him. He had me text him photos of the heater and was able to give me quotes not long after looking at them. He didn't rush me, as I asked a million questions and when he noticed I had a hard time working my own pool, he suggested automation. I had never heard of it before, but after he explained it and showed me how I could control my pool and spa from my phone, I was sold. We were in architect Design for a standard pool until Glenn had showed me the brochure for a Bio Design pool. Completely Freeform and natural lagoon like appeal.
