Don't waste your time! I should have trusted my gut when the office staff didn't seem to have their ish together. If you need extensive work, they cram everything into one appointment (instead of stages to avoid problems.....no one wants to sit in a chair for 5hrs, come on). They nickel and dime your insurance (good for them, bad for you). The office manager is nice but the other woman up front doesn't listen to your concerns on work done and talks in circles. Also pray you don't need a root canal on a molar tooth because they don't do that so you'll pay them... and then be sent to a specialist and pay them as well. Save yourself the trouble and find a dentist that is capable of doing it all. (Also they'll make you feel like dumb by saying you should always see a specialist for molar root canals when actually there are awesome dentists who are able to do both....like Winchester dental in Temecula. Frustrating! read more

Great staff, the best cleaning I have ever had. I would tell you my hygienists name, but I'm afraid you might request her (thank you T). Very quick cleaning and virtually painless. Dr. Atiga took some time to review my teeth and was very honest. I have seen dentists before that want to rip you off right out of the gate, but you won't if anyone like that at Dr. Atigas. Also, great culture in the office, no dramatic stories from receptionists, girls are very professional and take care of their clients from the first step. My kids were terrified of the dentist. At the first one, kid #1 refused to get in the chair. At the next, she wouldn't open her mouth. Another recommended that we sedate her. We tried four different dentists before we found Dr. Atiga, and they were all an utter disaster. How much do we love Dr. Cheryl? My kids LOOK FORWARD to their dental appointments. They get upset when they find that I have a visit without them. It's crazy how much we love this dentist. She's kind, gentle, and always cheerful. We drive over an hour down from Idyllwild, and we appreciate her flexibility when we are held up by snow or traffic. She and her staff are always good for a restaurant recommendation before we leave town, too. Awesome dentist, awesome staff. The staff here is beyond welcoming. My family actually likes going to the dentist now. My three year old daughter even allowed them to take X-rays and give her a full cleaning. My family has gone to Dr Atiga for the past serval years. However, appointments are booked out over 6 months, so good luck if you have to change your appt, won't happen. Also, the last 2 visits, Dr Atiga was "too busy" to come in and look at my mouth, yet was still billed for a full dental appt with cleaning. Both times she was "too busy" to see me. So I went a year without seeing her. Enough was enough! We also had multiple issues with billing, and you better keep all of your EOBs from insurance, OT expect to pay more. read more

After reading all the reviews here, I went to Dr. Atiga for a second opinion. She is caring and explained the problem with my teeth very carefully and in full detail without rushing me (like my current provider). She explained what needs to be done and how long it normally takes and I very much agree with her. Their staff is very friendly. They even help me get set up with care credit in no time. Their cost is reasonable for those who plan on not using their insurance. I had insurance but Dr. Atiga is not in my provider list so even if I've already set up an appointment with them, I had to find a good doctor within the provider list of my insurance. I did find somebody who I think is better than my current provider. I cancelled my appointment with them and it wasn't a problem with them. If I didn't find this one, I'm definitely going to Dr. Atiga. Thanks Dr. Atiga and to all the staff there. read more

Tonya is who my children and I have had for cleanings and she is so gentle, my 7 year old actually started to fall asleep! My family had reasonably good experiences through this dentist but that all changed when we were denied covered insurance cleanings unless we paid them (or wrote a post dated check) for recommended procedures, and then they called my wife to ensure that there was no confusion, because I guess she does not understand the english language. My daughter and I are new patients of Dr Atiga. I was recommended to her by a well known and excellent oral surgeon in the area. I did my research and emailed her a few questions re: treatment options for specific types of restorations for crowns/bridges/implants and well as questions on hypo-mineralized teeth which my daughter has. Her office was quick to respond to my questions and answered them in an intelligent and competent manner. Her Yelp reviews are ALL 5 STARS and I can now see why. She quickly and correctly diagnosed an old root canalled tooth which had been giving me pain on and off for years, as Below the Standard of Care. This tooth had been looked at by 3 other dentists (one which was an oral surgeon!) and NOT ONE had said that the root canal needed to be retreated! When I went to the endodontist for re treatment, he found cotton in the canal from the former dentist that had done the original work many years earlier! Dr Atiga is extremely competent, HONEST, extremely skilled and conservative in her treatment plans with her patients. Her chair side manner is the best that I (and my daughter!) have ever experienced and her communication and work relationships with her assistants and staff are nothing less that fantastic. These ladies in this office have got it going on folks!!!! They all know and understand the basics of quality of care and go way above the call. If you are looking for an excellent dentist that knows her stuff, doesn't play any games, is up to date on the latest and greatest in the dental field and is passionate about her work, please do yourself and your family a favor and give Dr Atiga a call. Dr. Atiga is one of the coolest down to earth dentists out there! Not only is she very friendly but she is also very knowledgeable, gentle, and does excellent work. My children feel very comfortable in her office as they have lots to offer to distract them and make them comfortable. Her office also is very generous and gives cool prizes to my kids. They love going to the dentist!!!! Dr. Atiga is also very gentle and motherly as she is a mom herself as she proudly displays pictures of her children in the office. I read the earlier review of someone who had a bad experience with the front office, but I have only experienced a professional and friendly staff. I'm sure no office is perfect and they really do try to go the extra mile and try to make things right if there was an oversight. I've referred a few people there and they all have been so thankful for the referral because she is the best! read more
