Terrible dental office! The cleaning was done by the dentist. It was completed in less than 10 minutes. There was no polishing or fluoride application. I went back for a few fillings. I should have known better after the quality of the cleaning. The fillings were high, which they told me it was because of the numbing. I went back a few days later and she only adjusted it 3 times. When I told her it was still high, her assistant told me it would wear down eventually. I am a dental assistant and know that's untrue. I also had sharp edges EVERYWHERE. She didn't smooth the tongue side or the chewing side. I also have my back two upper teeth fused together. The dentist never checked the contact with floss. I had to go somewhere else to be able to floss. Overall terrible experience both times I went. Save your money and go anywhere else. read more

As I am new to the area, I started researching dentists in this area. Thank goodness I found Dr. Diane Valdez. I like their office ( very convenient to me) but I really like the Dr., she is friendly, very personable. Dr. Took X-rays and gave me a readout of the work needed. She was not pushy. She answered my questions and I have already had some of the work done- in just two weeks time-and I feel better already. Clarisa is very polite and friendly every time I have gone in and or spoken to her on the phone. This is a small office, but you feel valued. read more

I went there and the first appointment was encouraging. The breakdown of what she could do for me made me excited and happy. I required a root canal and the first visit was the longest visit I ever had with a dentist. Her staff tried so hard to get her to do her job. Friendly is one thing but she is too distracted and talks too much. The root canal she started took way too long. I decided something wasn't right. She said I was a candidate for Invisilign which is my goal. I decided on a 2nd opinion 1. Her prices are way too high and; 2. I had loose teeth and I wanted to be ensured that my teeth wouldn't fall out. The new dentist thoroughly checked the work and the root canal she started was incorrect and I lost the tooth. The Perodontist said if I had gotten invisilign my teeth would have fallen out. She needs to retire. Everything she said she could do was wrong and I would have to have implants or dentures if I didn't have that gut feeling to get a 2nd opinion. She talks way too much, so distracted and wastes her patients time. Her staff cannot reel her in. If you want to keep your teeth don't go here. read more

I LOVE the people working here. They are all so friendly and happy. It's sometimes hard to laugh when you have a mouth full of cotton, but it happens all the time with these ladies. I actually love coming here. Diane the Doctor is amazing. I've had extensive work done with her over the past 9 years and she is super attentive. Always takes her time and will not finish until you are fully happy. No pressure...no overbooked exam rooms, never a bunch of people waiting for service. Its great. I don't write reviews. But Dr Valdez and Cheryl are too wonderful and deserve to be written about. I've been going to Destiny Dental for many years now. I have a LOT of dental issues, and therefore, tons of dental related anxiety. Dr Valdez and Cheryl are both so kind, and their friendly banter and kind manner always make me feel more at ease. Before I found Dr Valdez, I had multiple bad experiences. One dentist actually looked at my xrays, and flippantly asked, "Have you been chewing rocks?" I was so embarrassed. I never went back. I often delay going in for needed dental care because of intense fear and anxiety. Since going to Dr Valdez, the anxiety is not nearly as bad, and she always does a beautiful job of restoring my teeth. Dr Valdez and Cheryl, are both wonderful people. This dentist office and dentist is one of the most unprofessional that I have ever been too. The staff is pretty friendly and make you feel comfortable. However when you make an appointment you expect to be seen within a reasonable time to that appointment. Everyone there are so relaxed that schedule is not in there agenda. What they do is "visit with a patient" when others are patiently waiting for their time. I've actually been for an appointment several times and each time is the same. It too casual! The new dental assistant Cheryl is awesome. She is kind and gentle and funny, and makes me feel more comfortable. She is also very knowledgeable. I have been coming to Dr. Valdez for I think about 13+ years now. I was a patient when she first had her dental office in Temecula, CA off of Ynez. This is the ONLY Dental Office that does not try to gauge you for extra things that you don't need, and they do not try to perform expensive procedures that you do not need! Seriously and honestly this is the ONLY dentist I will ever go to! My insurance switched for a little bit a few years back and I was getting the dental insurance for free in my plan, and the new dentist I went to treated me like cattle, and wanted thousands of dollars to do tons of work that I did not need. I cancelled that plan and paid extra to get my old plan JUST so I could go to Destiny Dental. They are always kind and courteous, and Dr Diane Valdez is always in the best interest of the patient. She will try to save the tooth at all lengths. She does great with crowns! Love the zirconia crowns. I am astonished to see these negative reviews on here, and I am 100% certain that the one claiming to spend 15K , must be a lie from a competitor. It makes no sense. If you want an honest dentist, a woman dentist that will treat you like a human being and look out for your best interest, then please go to Destiny Dental in Temecula. read more

Steer away! I wish I could rate her 0 stars!!! She is UNPROFESSIONAL and DISHONEST in every way. First off she argues and talks bad about her employees as she is working on your mouth, very awkward and uncomfortable. She takes forever and does not see you at appointment time. The last and worse is she is a freaking fraud! She quotes you on something and then she adds stuff later and ends up charging you more. She quoted my husband for a retreatment of root canal ($1,100), he accepted and paid. She worked on it and asked him to come back to finish treatment. When he came back she starts charging him another $1200, when he asked her why, she said "oh its because we couldn't save the crown and we have to put a new one." They obviously knew that at the first appointment and didn't say anything. So, either they didn't say anything so they could charge more next time, or she is making this up just to get profit. I have been going to Diane since 2010, back when she was in her old office. My experiences with her have been quite the opposite. She is such a wonderful lady, when I first came to her she took very good care of me and even suggested a cheaper way of saving me money and fixing the gap between my front teeth and the little chip one of them had. I knew there was a costly way of fixing it but I don't have that kind of me so she told me about a different alternative and I am SO THANKFUL 2 THIS DAY! I used to be insecure about my smile n that little gap and she has turned it into a wonderful smile, no chip teeth or gap and even when I started dating guys were complimenting my smile I had. Obviously that brought my confidence up and very glad I invested that little bit of money in my smile . Yes I have to go in a year or 2 to get it "shaped" and "fixed" up but that's expected and even after a year it still holds up pretty well n I still have a nice smile. I definitely recommend her dental office, she has never tried to rip me off or push for me to do more things on my teeth that aren't necessary. She and her amazing crew take their time n do an amazing job. She cares about her patients and actually makes conversation with u, as opposed to the ones who don't really talk to u. give her a try, you won't regret this wonderful lady and her team! read more

The straw that broke the camels back..... Besides working with a terrible front office person (Robin, she makes you feel like an inconvenience), we have had to come back several times for fillings and re-work, the office is not kid friendly and the waits are atrocious. Our latest adventure was when we went in to get our daughter's assessment for Kindergarten registration and it was like pulling teeth (pun intended). Long story short, after being accused of trying to commit fraud we left without our needed paperwork. There are other options in the valley. read more

We came in to this dental facility, I was a little nervous as I was in for a root canal. When I arrived I was greeted with two beautiful smiles and a calming environment. Beware! This is a shady practice. Infighting amongst staff during my visit made me feel uncomfortable but the worst part is their billing practices. Was quoted one cash price with a reasonable 3 payment repay plan which was then doubled even though I signed a payment plan agreement which they can't seem to find a copy of. Practice cannot provide me with a complete printout of my account showing all activity. Claiming IT issues for more than 2 weeks now. If the care was exemplary I could possibly overlook these billing and collection practices but the care was mediocre at best and in fact I am still in discomfort and teeth are giving me trouble, thousands of dollars later. Stephanie needs to be fired!! Unprofessional and rude. People, check your pricing before paying anything. They will charge you 3 to 4 times more. I called today, 06/07/17 to make an appointment for my daughter who's 7 years old. Stephani answers the phone and answers normally like anyone else would. She places me on a brief hold to grab the folder for my daughter. So she asks me if I would like to schedule her for 06/15/17, I let her know that I would prefer 06/13/17 and she says no problem. Before we hang up, I let her know that I just want to go over the prices on the quotes that my wife and I recieved. I told her that they didn't match what my insurance said that I should pay. Just wanted to make sure there isn't a mistake. She doesn't say a word for like 20 seconds. Clearly she was upset. I caught her trying to make a fool out of me. She didn't even bother explaining or simply saying that we would check them out as soon as we can. Well, we schedule it for the 13 of June...AND THEN....... she calls me back less than 10 minutes later to let me know that the Dentist ( Valdez ) won't be able to see my daughter that day. That the following opening would be until July 2017. I ask her, " What happen to the 15th as you had just asked me?" She says, " oh, the dentist doesn't have any opening until July and she going on vacation. OH MY GOD! I'm so upset I ask to speak to Diane Valdez and she said she can't, that I'm in charge. Excuse me Stephanie... you ain't in charge of crap. You answer phones! I'm switching my family of 5 to another dentist because I can't go there with her. The rest of the staff was great including Dr. Valdez, so my wife and I are upset for that. We thought we had found the right place for my family. I loaded a picture of what I should pay and the quote. Just to name one procedure, porcelain fused hi noble, my price is $125, she quoted me $550. read more

I'm not sure about these negative reviews because it sounds like a different office. I've been with them 10+ years and never experienced or seen anything like that. After several years with a practice in Murrieta that routinely did sub-standard work, and overcharged me, I set out to find a dentist that would provide my family with quality dental care. Dr. Valdez is expert at her craft, and the most honest dentist I've ever known. The work she provides is warranted, quality, and she backs her work. Her preventative work has not only been beneficial to our teeth, but our budget as well. My family and I were one of Dr Valdez first patients when she opened her dental office. At first we were very impressed by her work but after spending over $15,000 paid in CASH over a period of 2 years.... We have had faulty dental work. When brought to DR attention she wanted to charge an additional $3,000 to fix the mistakes she had made. Come to find out the dental assistant performing root canals and oral surgery had NO dental experience or training..it was the SECRETARY who only knew how to answer phones and file papers!!! Have witnessed other patients coming back disgruntled.. AVOID like the PLAGUE!!!!!! Currently opened a case with BBB to investigate.. I have been a patient of Dr. Valdez for probably 15 years or so and have always had great results. She and her staff do great work and always take their time with me to explain everything that is being done. I have had her do several crowns and a couple of root canals over the years along with all of my checkups and cleanings. We put together a plan together to do more extensive work over time and always have found her to be nothing but a true professional. I had thee worst toothache in my life. I researched a dentist and came across Dr. Valdez. I then called her office and her sweet front office gal helped me and was very patient with me. I had so many questions and she answered every single one. She made an appointment for me. I went in last week. The office is very presentable and everyone in her office made me feel very comfortable and assured me that everything will be all right! Dr. Valdez and her assistant worked on me for about 1/2 an hour. That whole time I thought, no doubt they're gonna pull my molar out. I was wrong, she did a Root Canal and sent me home with an Antibiotic prescription. I came back yesterday for them to finish my Root Canal. All went well, I had no more pain or swelling.
