My husband loves the souls and sandwiches. The place is always packed with happy customer. AND...we never feel rushes to give up our table.

I have NEVER experienced service this bad in my life. From the moment we walked in, it was clear…read morethat customer service was the last thing on anyone's mind. We waited over 10 minutes to be seated despite there being PLENTY of open tables. Our server didn't even greet us with a simple "hello" or introduce themselves. Things only got worse from there. Our silverware was still WET when it was brought to the table. We ordered a 20 oz coffee and were served a 16 oz instead. The server never once checked on us, never asked if we needed refills, and another employee had to bring out our food because our own server couldn't be bothered. To top it all off, our trash was never collected from the table, and when we finally moved it ourselves because it had been sitting there the entire meal, our server actually seemed annoyed with US! Imagine being upset because customers cleaned up after your lack of service. The only time our server came back was right before it was time to leave the tip. Funny how that works. This was one of the worst dining experiences I've had in a long time. Poor attitude, terrible attentiveness, wrong order, and zero hospitality. I will absolutely not be returning, and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone expecting even the most basic level of customer service.

Night and day difference from the Camp Hill Location! Stopped in today for a late lunch/brunch…read moreafter an appt and we were seated promptly. Waitress was super attentive, took our orders and delivered our coffees right away. Location seems a little smaller than the Camp Hill one but runs much more efficiently. Husband opted for the GOAT omelet and potatoes, I got the 3 egg white omelet with cheese, tomatoes and spinach with mixed greens. Food was very light and refreshing, just what we were looking for. I couldn't finish all my cold brew so our waitress offered to get me a to go cup so it wouldn't go to waste. There was a wait forming as we were leaving so best to check on the app if/how long of a wait there might be but tables were being turned at a good rate to accommodate.

Our server Alex was attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. My eggs Benedict looked great and the hollandaise sauce was a perfect mix of richness and tanginess with great mouthfeel and without the harshness that plagues lesser offerings. My friend had the similarly delicious avocado toast which was perfectly portioned with equal amounts of ingredients in every bite. Topped it off with fresh squeezed OJ and you have all the goods to make sure we come back here again to try some of the other items on the menu. Highly recommended!

Stopped in to Mad Chef unexpectedly while traveling through Lancaster…read more My wife and I were hungry and tired from traveling through Pennsylvania. Thankfully Mad Chef was open later than most places so we got in before the kitchen closed. I enjoyed the low lighting with the brewery equipment shining in the background. Having the Phillies game on the tv's only added to our experience. Our drinks and food were excellent. I always like to enjoy a local craft beer, having it paired on site with fabulous eats is even better. I ordered Mr Dynamite Brown, their American brown ale which was fabulous. We ordered a small Pommes Frites (French fries) that were cooked in Canola oil. While light in color, these fries were cooked to perfection. Crispy outside, fluffy inside, salted just right. My wife ordered the pretzel and said it was her type, buttery, salty, and doughy. I ordered the Korean Pork Nachos, by far the best nachos I've ever had the pleasure to devour. I can't begin to describe how well the roasted corn poblano medley brought this plate together. Every bite had an explosion of flavor with the Korean glaze and Gochujang aioli. This dish blows Guy Fieri's trash can Brisket nachos out of the water. If ever in Lancaster don't pass up on the Mad Chef Craft Brewing gem.

This was my 2nd time coming to Mad Chef!…read more The first time I came here was about 2 years ago (before doing yelp reviews). I was not very impressed. This time around I cannot complain! Their specials are all revolving around the Masters which was unique! We tried the Pimento, Fried Green Tomato, Chicken Sandwich (The Pimento Birdie). This was a delicious sandwich that just screams Georgia! We also tried the Madfather Chicken Sandwich! Pesto, Vodka Sauce, Mozzarella, this thing was outstanding! The fries are always a highlight here! We got the bucket (had a bigger group) and it came with 3 sauces. 1 tiny little knock on the fry bucket....the entire bucket was not filled with fries. The bottom of the fry bucket had about an inch or 2 of crinkled up paper..... All of the food was outstanding. The beer was good. Tons of space and seating. Very easy ordering process. Go up to the counter, tell them your table number, and your food arrives shortly! Prices are high here! Expect a larger number on your check if consuming both food and alcohol!
