Our first time at this Bonefish, and first time back to any Bonefish in quite a while. Have to say it feels much less "Bonefish" and much more local bar/restaurant here. Few people dining on a Sunday evening as well. I had the Bourbon Salmon substituting mashed potatoes for the roasted potatoes. The salmon was slightly overcooked but acceptable. The mashed potatoes were slightly lumpy, they way I like them. The asparagus was overcooked with stalky ends. All in all, very mediocre. My companion had the crabcakes and mashed potatoes. She also considered her dinner to just be average, so neither of us were much impressed. I guess being a chain restaurant Bonefish has also run its course to where all chain restaurants end up, mediocrity. read more

Came in for lunch on a weekday and the place was mostly empty save for a few tables including us. We had 5 people but for some reason was seated in a booth with enough space for 4 people, and 3 of us had to squeeze a bit to fit despite there being plenty of empty tables around. Our waitress was very nice and gave us some time to look at the menu. I got the Ahi tuna dish which seems like a Asian-inspired dish and I thought the fish taste quite fresh and the rice and vegetables were well-flavored. Prices is reasonable. read more

If you are not in "the club", you are not getting their full benefits! We went after getting an email for a free bang-bang stump in honor of their 25th anniversary. We love the bang! These smaller shrimp have a unique taste with the crispy texture overlaid with the creamy and slightly tangy/spicy sauce. We also had the trout, the shrimp & mahi pair, and the seafood linguine. All were hot, delicate, and delicious! These are not easy to get right every time, but they seem to do it. Come and enjoy the flavors of the sea, along with steak and chicken! We have been to a few Bonefish Grill's before and always have a nice meal. Seems like it's when we visit PA as we have none near us in CT that I know of-bummer.. I realized I have never written a review and decided this most recent time was a good one. We were in the Lancaster PA area visiting for the holidays and trying to find a spot for a party of five on a Saturday night. Bonefish's convenient online reservation system made it easy to see when a table might be free and we made a reservation. When we got there, our table was ready and we were promptly seated. The restaurant was very busy- we did not see an open table anywhere. I can honestly say it's they busiest I have seen a restaurant since before the pandemic. Despite how busy, our server was excellent- drinks right away, order taken, and kids food out quickly- not easy to do considering how busy but shows how well run the restaurant is and how good the staff was. We all enjoyed our food- Bonefish really knows how to cook a beautiful piece of fish. Two at our table got the butterfish special which was truly melt in your mouth good. So nicely cooked- light, flaky and just heavenly. The drinks were also great- I am always a little nervous to get a margarita somewhere but theirs was well balanced and had just the right amount of tequila. Would totally get again! This is by far one of the worst restaurants in Lancaster. We sat down at 11:30 am and didn't get our checks until 1:15. They had one waitress working the whole restaurant . I ordered fish and chips, which should be called small amount of fish and lots of batter. It came with coleslaw and fries. I got a tablespoon of slaw and 10 fries. With ice tea my bill was over $25 before tip. Never again!!! read more

My husband and I went last night and wow! What a meal! I had the best scallops I have ever had! Flavor was perfect and they were also cooked perfectly! To be honest, I doubted we could find good seafood in Lancaster. We DID. As readers of my reviews know, I am gluten sensitive. When I told Trey, our wait person, he immediately got a Gluten Free menu for me and he was very knowledgeable about the issue. I ordered their Butterfish special, but without "creamy spinach" (yeccchhh). According to their menu, this is Black Cod, aka Sable Fish. I used to get and love this in a Chinese casserole dish. The "special" is served with lump crabmeat. The fish was cooked to perfection. NOT one second too long. I also ordered fresh asparagus but it was a bit expensive at $3.50. My wife ordered Florida Cobb Salad with grilled shrimp. Aside from needing to send it backd because it was drenched in dressing and she always requests dressing on the side, she was very happy with the dish. Lots of excellent blue cheese (guilty! This was my first and last visit to Bonefish Grill. When we entered the restaurant, it felt like we were bothering the hostess. The restaurant was empty, so she should have been happy to seat us. The poor attitude continued with our waitress. Again, no hint of a sense of humor. I ordered the burger and requested that it be cooked WELL DONE. As you can see in the picture, it's not even close. I told our waitress and she said that she would tell the cook. Nothing further. At the end of our meal my burger was still on my plate. I asked our waitress if she said something to the cook. She said yes. Nothing more. No wonder the restaurant was empty. With such lousy food and service, it will soon be closed. read more

This is the 5th or 6th time I've been to Bonefish Grill, it's one of our favorite places to go because the food is usually always good. Service tonight was really good, our server Brittany, was awesome. She was always checking up on us and she was very polite! All of our food was was delicious. I gave them 4/5 stars because the portion sizes for the sides are really small. The sizes used to be a little bigger than what we both received. They gave me a whole bowl of super grain (brown rice, quinoa, veggies and feta cheese) which was so good, but completely skimped on the potato portion. My boyfriend's potato au gratin was also very small. The side bowl of cole slaw was only lightly dressed, which we didn't expect because typically traditional cole slaw it doused in dressing. I wasn't mad over the cole slaw since I'm trying to eat healthy, but that's just a heads up if you order cole slaw, it's basically just cabbage slaw with light oil (at least that's what it tasted like). Overall we had a good experience here as usual and will continue to coming back. read more

I can't say enough good things about this place . We went for our anniversary on 6/15/22 and it was the BEST service we've had so far !! Our server Devin was so helpful and charming , she was efficient and knowledgeable. My boyfriends filet was perfectly seasoned and cooked to his liking , my Mahi-mahi was absolutely perfect !! I couldn't ask for a more incredible piece of fish and we both ordered the wood fire grilled shrimp that were simply delicious!! Whoever was in the kitchen was spot-on with the cooking .
