Flounder stuffed with crab. So good.
    John G.

I treated my mom to dinner here the other night. First time being here for me. The food, service, and environment are all good. I would visit again. Just a solid mom and pop place. We both got the stuffed flounder with crab, with mash potato's and broccoli as our sides. Everything was delicious.

Some of the better seafood in the area but still not the best seafood. Prices were on the high end for what we received and the service and ambiance. Food was decent but came out in a glass dish sitting in an inch of butter. Butter with seafood is great but this was waaaaay too much. We would not be back, there is better options for that kind of high ticket.

From my server Chrissy, to my soup, to my meal and wine, a great experience. MR Tuna steak, with a spicy plum sauce served with mushroom risotto and freshly steamed broccoli, it was wonderful.

First time at Kyma and it was definitely a good impression. Our waitress, Nylah, was so kind and personable. She always checked up on us and was very knowledgeable about the menu. We ordered Snow Crab legs and sirloin steak. All food was delicious and worth coming here for dinner. The atmosphere also makes for a good date night if you're looking for that type of vibe! I love that when we ordered a martini, they gave us the shaker. Very different than most places. I do recommend trying this place if you're in the area!

Pretty good place, menu has a lot of options, service was prompt and nice. The ambiance was very nice, cozy and quieter as you want for a Saturday night dinner. Food was great, a lot of good options specially for seafood. A lot options in drinks and deserts too. Will definitely come back if I'm in the area again

    Drinks for the table

I was visiting family in Pa and this is a favorite of theirs so off we went on a rainy Saturday table of 6. The original thing I wanted for an appetizer was sold out. Instead of not getting anything I decided to go with the mussels which were very good but then I also ordered an entree which I ate two bites of because I was full. Everyone made fun of me. I was embarrassed. Hahahaha. Needless to say, the surf and turf I reheated it the next day and it was still excellent. Drinks were great. Nicely sized and dosed. No complaints.

Two sides came with the crabcake. This is the garlic, mashed potatoes and coleslaw.

Usually very delicious and we leave very full. They have a good drink menu, seasonal menu, and regular menu. You can order off the Johnnys menu as well. Tip: highly recommend making a reservation. This last time I was very disappointed in the shrimp penne in vodka sauce because the shrimp were not deveined and they were massively filled if you know what I mean. Because they were in vodka sauce it was so messy to try and clean the shrimp, so I ended up only eating like two shrimp. Everything else was very delicious. The soups were so amazing and flavorful. I absolutely love their bread and butter.

Good food - especially for the location. Portions are decent. Prices are very high - especially appetizers and alcoholic beverages.

Ambiance not matching the price. Early dinner met with many items unavailable due to clearing out the space prior to holiday.

The servers were incredibly attentive and extremely knowledgeable. When it was time for the next course people seemed to appear with food out of nowhere serving everybody at the same time. Kudos for being the best part of this experience! The food was just okay for me. My steak was cooked great but not prepared great leaving gristle and fat that I had to cut around the edges. The circular slab of butter that came on top was just too much, reminding me of all the reasons I don't love wagyu. It just makes everything so rich. The chilled chicken soup was a big miss for all three of us that tried it. When asked how it was the best thing I could come up with was "odd". The overall vibe here is nice, however at this price point I expect excellence and I just don't get that at Gibraltar. This isn't someplace I'd seek out to come back to unfortunately.

Even the complementary bread and butter is high quality--a bit torturous, in fact, since you don't want to spoil your appetite for the what's coming. Go big and get the Delmonico ribeye. Perfection. The oysters with the perfectly vinegary migonette sauce is a great starter, as is the butcher's bacon. Also, pro tip, you can get the salads in half sizes and you wouldn't go wrong with any of them. The caesar is my favorite, but recently had an outstanding wedge as well, with plenty of bleu cheese.
