    Chicken Marsala- generously portioned
    Craig M.

Reasonable prices and generous portions on a vast menu. The servers are quite engaging and the the manager checked in after I got my dinner. The beef vegetable soup was awesome. My Chicken Marsala was loaded with mushrooms I never give a five on the first single visit, but I absolutely I'm going back, and if the experience is a solid, I'll do a revision

Its a diner environment with typical diner food, but I actually enjoyed the meal and service here. Came here for breakfast and ordered the waffle combo. The sausage patties, spicy sausage, and ham were surprisingly good, some of the best I've had. The hash and eggs needs some seasoning, but nothing salt and pepper can't help with a bit. Additionally, the waitress was phenomenal and did a great job, and the hostess was polite and very kind too.

What the Hey is this crap. Ordered a turkey Ruben to go. This was just nasty. Had throw it out. There prices are threw the roof.

What the Hey is this crap just nasty. Was supposed to be a turkey Ruben SANDWICH. I will never go back again the prices are a joke. If I wanted to pay these prices I would eat in town on the water

Blatant Price switching on the menu and rude manager showed no consideration. Other manager just walked away. Price said one price on breakfast menu. First she said it was because it changed to lunch menu but we were there way before lunch and the waitress entered the bill before 12. So disappointed in the managers and the attitude/ apathy they showed me. My server Cathy was great but shift ended during our dining.

Our server was new and not super knowledgeable about the food...my favorite question to ask is what's your favorite. She talked about what lots of people order, but wasn't really able to talk about the food. It took a while for the food to come out, but we weren't in a hurry, so no big deal. I don't suggest the BBQ chicken, but the Chesapeake chicken (chicken and crab) was AMAZING!

Feels warm and small town. Trying the Chesapeake melt! Looking for Will Graham and Hannibal Lector

Fish and chips and a crab cake. Note this is only a half of the fish sandwich. It was so large I couldn't believe it.

Fish sandwich was really amazing and so huge! It must have been the largest one I ever got. Best salad bar I have had in a very long time. Our waitress was very nice and accommodating.

    Bay Shrimp Salad is Delicious.

In the mornings they serve a full breakfast buffet, and there's a solid variety of options available. One of the highlights is the DIY omelet station, where you can choose your ingredients and have an omelet made fresh right in front of you. It's always nice having something cooked to order mixed into a buffet. They also offer fresh waffles, which are always popular with kids, along with a simple fruit selection--during our visit it included apples and bananas. It's a nice option if you want something lighter alongside the heavier breakfast foods. One thing that stood out was the meat carving station. When we visited it was more of a brisket-style offering rather than the typical breakfast ham. It was actually quite good, and the au jus added a lot of flavor, making it a surprisingly enjoyable option. The buffet also includes the usual breakfast staples you'd expect. There's a cereal station with several choices and three types of milk, along with juices like apple, cranberry, and orange. They also have a yogurt station with lots of toppings, which makes it easy to build something lighter or customizable. The hot food section included bacon, scrambled eggs (which definitely needed a little salt), mini sausage links that leaned a bit greasy, breakfast potatoes, a small western-style omelet option, and--somewhat amusingly--chicken nuggets, which honestly makes sense for a family-focused resort where kids are involved. There's also a pastry area with cheese danishes, apple pastries, and muffins. They were decent but fairly standard. For toast options they offer several types of bread, English muffins, and bagels, along with butter, jelly, and cream cheese. Dinner is served on weekends only, and the buffet shifts toward classic comfort food. When we visited they again had a brisket carving station with the same au jus, which was just as good. Other options included pasta dishes like spaghetti with red sauce or Alfredo sauce, ravioli, chicken parmesan, meatballs, garlic knots, and a DIY salad bar. They also had chicken nuggets and fries, which makes this a very safe option for families with picky eaters. Speaking of families, this place is actually great if you have picky eaters. With so many options across the buffet, it's pretty easy for everyone to find something they'll enjoy. The staff was super friendly during both breakfast and dinner, which made the experience even better. At breakfast you have juices and coffee available, and at dinner they provide cups for both kids and adults to use at the Pepsi fountain machine, which is convenient. Another thing worth mentioning is the ambiance. The whole restaurant is themed to feel like an outdoor campfire setting, which is actually really cute. The lighting and the strings of lights around the room give it a warm, cozy atmosphere that fits perfectly with the Great Wolf Lodge theme. Finally, the staff does an excellent job keeping everything clean. For a busy buffet at a family resort, the dining area was very well maintained, and tables were cleared and wiped down quickly. Overall, the food quality is probably around a 4 out of 5, but it's a decent value for what you get, especially given the variety and convenience of eating right at the resort.

We went to Great Wolf in July of 2026 and we were between the buffet or its upscale restaurant…read more With picky eaters, we opted for the buffet since there are more options. First thing is they give you cups that you can refill for your whole trip so that might be something to think about out if you stay multiple nights. Like any buffet they will be one or two great things, a few good things and the rest are bad. The great things was the cornbread, the lo mein and the taco station. The good stuff were nuggets, breadsticks and Mac and cheese. The chicken breast tasted old and the bread pudding was yuck. Having an ice cream machine would have elevated the experience because they were really lacking desserts. One review said they only serve dinner on the weekend but that wasn't the case for us, we went on a Monday night.

There are other parking lots throughout the town which would allow you to be close to the restaurant. There's a bar area, and a dining area. They do have outdoor seating as well. We sat at the bar. Super nice servers. You can tell they are happy and that this is a place where they focus on customers. Could see that there were several locals eating and drinking. Seemed many regulars were there. Ordered onion rings that were delicious. Then had 2 burgers - The Heater (no bun) and the monthly special which had sloppy Joe on it. The Heater was good. The sloppy Joe one was meh as the sloppy Joe part was very light as far as serving size so could barely taste. The burgers themselves are absolutely delicious! They use local butchers burgers (Bowman Butchers). You can clearly taste the difference. So good. We got fries with one (get those) and tots with the other (skip these). This is a terrific place to get good food and wonderful service. We didn't do drinks, but the bar is fully stocked and they have lots on tap. Worth a stop!!

I want to try this place in the summer so we can enjoy the outside seating as well. Family friendly and only negative (which is not the restaurants fault) it was a bit hard to find parking. So add a bit of extra time on for that. They don't have their own lot.

They are redoing the street so it is currently blocked off. Even if you park on a different street, it isn't a problem to walk to the coffee shop. You can appreciate the historic charm from your first step in. They have a coffee bar with tables, as well as an extended side that has ample seating and table. It is a very inviting space where you can sit for a spell and enjoy your coffee or work. It's also a fabulous spot to sit with fiends to catch up. They do sell local art and other cute finds throughout their lovely shop. They do have a little area outside that you can sit as well. And even a bench area beside the building. The staff is lovely. Super friendly and very efficient at allowing you to get your order quickly. There is an interactive post it display while waiting for your order. The drinks were fantastic and the menu is extensive. The Americano was absolutely delicious!! Tons of syrup options and various creamer options. The bakery options are delicious and they even have gluten free. They do have a cold case of drink options and even local ice cream. For sure worth a stop if you are in the area. I would even go out of your way to visit this gem of a place. A terrific spot if you are looking to do some work or just chill and relax. But, most importantly they make fantastic drinks!!! Don't skip on this one.
