I posted pictures of what we ate along with pages of the menu. We ordered eggs over easy, hash browns and a short stack. The eggs were cooked perfectly and the hash browns were very well seasoned. The pancakes were excellent. Maybe I was just very hungry, but they tasted a bit different from most others I've had anywhere else. They were moist, sweet and not very heavy. Really very good. The service was quick and attentive. I look forward to returning for lunch and possibly dinner on Friday and Saturday evenings. I asked about the dinner menu. They said they would be serving the same menu plus a few specials.

The food was hot and fresh made to order. The restaurant itself was quiet, probably because it's just opening. The food was very presentable attractive to the eye. They're open for breakfast and lunch which is huge in this town; especially on the weekends. I'm sure I'll return.

First time here. Right next to the Cheshire Walkway. Go for a walk. Ride your bike. Stop in for breakfast. I had an egg, bacon, and a super sized English muffin. My wife had a sausage egg and cheese on a hard roll. Both had coffee. Nice atmosphere. Friendly waitresses. My waitress is Linda. Would highly recommend. Say hi for me.

Place was great. Super clean. Fair prices, food and service was excellent. We were looking for something new close to home. E found it here. Great place.

Irish Benedict and home fries. A+

Cheshire place is just great! Small, cozy, fresh made food. I have been here a bunch of times now and each time has been fantastic. My favorite is the Irish Benedict (pic below). Service is great and you're always greeted with a smile and a 'hello!'. Coffee can be hit or miss but otherwise Ill keep coming back often!

    Spanish omelet, toast, potatoes.

Found this place after we looked on Yelp and liked the reviews. We were a party of 4. Two people liked their breakfast and 2 didn't. I had a Spanish omelet, and my daughter had a pancake, they were good. My wife had a 4 cheese omelet, she didn't like it, said she could only taste 1 kind of cheese. My son ordered the eggs Benedict with homemade corned beef hash special. He said the hash didn't taste to good. I tried it also, it had a funny taste to me, but since it's homemade, I guess it's their version of hash. Was a busy crowd on a Sunday am, service was a bit slow.

Mexican omelette (with ketchup I added).

I have a picky eater and no hibachi places serve chicken nuggets (it's always tempura chicken) but this place does with fries at that! My 3 year old was super happy because he loves the show but not the food so he got to eat and enjoy this time. My 1 year old ate everything. We had the seafood combo and shrimp and salmon both were excellent. Now the sauces- when hibachi first came to CT I loved both sauces but lately they have been so gross everywhere - well we both poured both sauces all over our food and got more. Everything was clean and new and they have a menu of dry aged steaks , tacos and other items in their regular part of the restaurant which is quite large as well. Overall a Christmas Eve well spent and we will be back!

"Imitator, intimidator, stimulator Simulator, eliminator"…read more(Eminem) If ten state of the art golf simulators are your stimulators, you'll love a visit to Back 9 Social. And your visit will not be handicapped by a lack of gastropub like food and drink. Their golf simulators are very impressive and combine radar and camera technology to faithfully recreate some of the best courses in the world, including St Andrews, Pebble Beach, and 120+ others. A professional organization I belong to held a gathering there last night and had a great time. We ordered and paid for our drinks through their big bar through a QR code, but you can still pay the old-fashioned way with cash if you prefer. We had plenty of their pizzas which were quite yummy. Our golfers had a blast and I should point out that although some of the other customers I saw actually brought their own set of clubs, Back 9 can hook you up with their clubs for men, women, lefties, righties, and kids. And of course, plenty of tees and balls to whack into their high-definition screens. The facility is gorgeous, the golf simulators were amazing, the staff was helpful and friendly, and it was a very enjoyable experience.

This place is a lot of fun, and we genuinely enjoy coming here, but our experience with management…read moreon multiple occasions has really put a damper on the whole establishment. We completely understand that the facility has every right to monitor alcohol consumption and prevent inappropriate behavior. Nobody wants people getting sloppy or disruptive, and we respect that. However, there's a much more professional and respectful way to handle it than what is done. We are unsure of her name, but the female manager present made us uncomfortable as she was constantly staring at our group throughout the evening instead of simply communicating expectations directly. The alcohol restrictions are also entirely ridiculous- I specifically was told by the bartender that I was being watched for alcohol consumption after having 2 Coronas in a time span of 1 hour and 45 minutes. The restriction on alcohol itself is not the main issue -- it's the way it is handled. We have felt watched and punished despite the fact that nobody in our group was loud, inappropriate, or intoxicated on multiple occasions. I also want to note that the bartenders have been spectacular and are always very nice. This is specially about the manager and the way she acts towards paying customers. When you're spending over $200 on the simulator alone, a little courtesy and respectful communication would go a long way. We really do like this place, but experiences like this make us hesitant to come back.

Then came this past Thanksgiving weekend where it required traveling on I-84 from Cape Cod to get to Danbury and my mom, sister and I decided to try you out. Now, I am in the dog house because they want to know when the next time that we are going. I had the chicken club and it was absolutely delicious. A huge piece of chicken with plenty of flavor. My sister had the short rib sandwich and was raving about it once we continued our drive saying she was so glad she had it even though she had short ribs herself for dinner the previous night. I don't know if that's an indictment on her cooking or what, but she loved it. The star however was the cod dinner that mom had. It was one of the flakiest and freshest pieces of fish she had ever had. We got a very late start to our trip, so by the time 2:00 came on the Saturday afternoon came, we practically had the whole place to ourselves. The only gripe that we had ( not that we necessarily would have changed anything ) was that we noticed after we ordered that the table next to us got a specials menu and we didn't. It was nice and quiet as our waitress let us have a quiet late lunch and if we were ever in the area ever again, we would make a b-line back to the restaurant.

My go-to has always been the salad with seared scalping a raspberry dressing. No longer on the menu. However, we're always looking for different takes on a vegetarian burger, including Impossible and Beyond. We both were in the mood for a burger and they have the Impossible burger on the menu so we were in luck, or were we? Backup to the arrival. The main bar area was very busy and unfortunately no seats available. So, we were seated in the back which is a very nice and more formal and original part of the house. Totally empty we were seated in front of a fake (non-heat producing) fire, decent ambiance, but it was cold and silent in there. We don't mind the silent part but the temperature was not good. It took a long time before someone came back with menus and a greeting, but we knew what we wanted to order. Two Impossible burgers please. No such luck. "We don't have them anymore", we were told. "Revamping the menu. Don't worry, there will be plenty of vegetarian choices", we were told. How about tonight? We needed to take some time with the menu and there were very limited choices. I decided on the special, asparagus risotto with grilled salmon. My wife didn't really want anything on the menu but settled on the veggie flatbread. The risotto was quite good. The salmon was slightly overcooked but still very good. The three 1/4 stalks of asparagus were good, too, but they could've been a bit more generous with the veggie. The flatbread was a big disappointment. The menu says it is topped with artichokes, spinach, onions, red peppers and mushrooms. We nixed the mushrooms. You can see in the picture that there were no artichokes and no red peppers. There were a ton of tomatoes (not listed) and black olives, which would've been ok had it been for me, but my wife doesn't eat black olives. There were only 4 pieces of spinach. So, after removing them, there really wasn't much left to eat. She wasn't happy. I guess we should've done what the gentleman in the hidden dining room next to where we were seated did, order Chinese food to be delivered!
