AVOID this shop. Chose this shop as its AAA Insurance preferred meaning all work guaranteed. I was lied to on several occasions by this place both verbally and in writing. Imagine having a grown man using his birthday as an excuse to a paying customer, told (in writing) vehicle done Sept 19 one week later still not done and no end insight. Absolute disgrace. Spoke to other people in shop no one has any idea what is going on in the place. What an absolute joke. I really hope AAA ends relationship with this place as it does not reflect their level of customer service, integrity, and more importantly knowing your own business. The dealership Sloane Toyota of Malvern, deceived my girlfriend on the purchase of a used 2017 pre-certified Toyota Camry LE. There were multiple areas of damage to the vehicle. The dealer reluctantly agreed to have this repaired at Chester County Auto Body (CCAB). They left a large metal piece inside the vehicle jammed down below the bottom of windshield laying on top of the dashboard. Two weeks later while driving this object flew off of the windshield and almost impaled my girlfriend while driving when she had to make an abrupt stop. There were also grease marks left on both the right front and right rear passenger seats when the repair was done. As a result of this Chester County Auto Body agreed to detail the inside of the car and to touch up a few scratches. My girlfriend dropped her car off on Monday afternoon August 3, 2020. When she went to pick the car up on Tuesday evening August 4, she noticed damage on the front of the hood of her car that was not there before. Mike M. the owner/manager of CCAB refused to acknowledge or take responsibility for this damage. He was very rude to my girlfriend and abruptly told her to leave. Terrible experience. I cannot speak highly enough about this business! The owner Mike, and his staff, made me feel right at home. I brought my car here after an accident. They brought me to a place where I could get a rental car and provided the same service when it was time to pick up the finished vehicle. They dealt with the insurance company along the way. My car was finished in the exact timeframe they said it would be. They made a stressful time of an accident much easier. My car looked perfect when I picked it up. I guess I should've realized something wasn't right when the GPS couldn't even find this body shop. You have to put in Paoli, PA, not Malvern, PA. Anyway, this was the first time I've ever went to a body shop before. I just figured all body shops are the same. No! If you have to, look online and make sure the body shop is Geico-approved and AAA-approved. AAA-approved is actually what is necessary to let you know it is a body shop that can repair all makes and models and significant damages. This Chester County Auto Body shop is NOT Geico-approved and NOT AAA-approved. I learned this after I had my car towed here. I don't even know how they got the title "Chester County" because this body shop is the worst in the county. You would think a shop named after a county would be super official and recommended. Well, not in this case. I had a minor accident when I rammed off a guardrail on an exit ramp, which somehow ripped part of the left-rear passenger door off and flattened that tire and damaged the left-rear area of the rear suspension. It actually could've been more drive-able but the left-rear wheel was not vertical, it was mis-aligned at an angle. Unfortunately, I left my 2011 Kia Optima there for a month, and they never started the repairs! They just let it sit there. Apparently, here's what happened. The body shop did not have the capabilities to do more significant or more expensive body repairs, even though my car was repairable and not really that damaged. It looked like an understaffed, tiny shop that can only handle minor scratches or dents. It looked like an apprentice shop. I'm all for giving high schoolers jobs, but it appeared they only worked on one car at a time and will take weeks to repair that one car at a time. Also, apparently my shady Geico insurance adjuster talked to Manager Mike behind my back and agreed to not repair my car and, instead, try to force a "total loss" which would mean they try to take possession of my car and flip it for profit while giving me a settlement to buy another car. Well, I didn't want another car! I just wanted my car repaired so I can drive back home! They tried to imply that I had to get it repaired outside PA because of PA state inspection rules for salvaged cars. Well, my Kia was perfectly repairable. I took it to Armen Collision (which apparently is the best body shop in the Paoli, Malvern, Ardmore area). I wish Geico would have towed it there but they didn't help me so I had to find Armen Collision on my own. Well, eventually they successfully repaired my car. It took 6 weeks and I paid $12,000 but it was worth it. Geico re-imbursed me partially even though the insurance agent did not want to cover any of the repairs. Facebook can be an effective tool. Armen replaced the rear door, installed new front-left door handle, installed new tire, aligned the wheel to be vertical, fixed that rear suspension area, made sure the battery worked, and even did repairs to pre-existing damage (front grill, front bumper damage, front-right wheel bumper damage, and part of the right side door). So, all doors worked perfectly as well as everything else. They even fully fueled and washed my car before I picked it up. I was able to e-mail their manager to get updates. I was able to drive all the way back home to NV (2500 miles). Everything worked perfect. It is July 2022 and still have no problems. Everything works perfectly since getting repaired last year. CCAB is very shady. Manager Mike charged me over $2,000 for storage fees. Even if your vehicle needs minor repairs (small dents, scratches), I would not take it to CCAB. Also, don't take it to Badell's Collision (Geico-approved but not AAA-approved). Word on the street (or online street) is that Armen Collision is the best body shop in that PA area. BTW, my car did not need to pass state inspections because Armen successfully repaired. That process is only for severely damaged vehicles that may not be repairable and likely salvaged. My Kia was absolutely repairable. Too bad, Mike, you whiffed on a good profit if you were able to fix my car. read more

The guys at CCAB have been taking care of my vehicles for years. I wouldn't take them anywhere else. I live in Bucks County Pa and drive over an hour and past a ton of body shops but the drive is well worth it. Thank you John for all you've done for me and my family. read more
