HOLIDAY TOUR OF HOMES! Beautifully decorated historic homes right off downtown McKinney.

Chestnut Square is a historic venue. I love dee jaying Wedding Receptions and Private Events here. Kim and the other staff are so easy to work with. The farmers market is a big event here also, come out for some great produce and homemade items.

Who knew there were clusters of cute, old-timely historical villages in North Dallas? Well not me! Chestnut Square has a farmers market every 1st and 3rd Saturday in the winter months. There were all kinds of goods for sale, like fresh vegetables, fried pie, beef jerky, homemade soaps, tamales, and more. I would come back again just to try more food and to check out other vendors. This area is also understandably used for weddings, as the cluster of quaint historic houses and chapel make a nice venue. Hmm, maybe it'll go on my own "potential venues" list?

Love walking around downtown McKinney, so many shops and small business. You can also take the free trolley.

I love the haunted tour and the tour guided paranormal investigations. Well worth the money for experiencing the paranormal.

Kim was amazing and honestly saved us from getting a wedding coordinator.

They have nearly every console and you can play almost all of them or at least something from each era. The giant pong game is an absolute must for geeks of all ages. I could spent another couple of hours in there if the lil one would have been willing. Your admission includes 4 tokes and you can play some classics and little known arcade games. This is not anything compared to Pinballz or Game Preserve, but it is a fun addition and we enjoyed it.

At the end of the museum is a retro arcade. You get four tokens with your ticket upon entry, but you could always buy more. There is private party room as well. There was a birthday party when we attended and the kids were having a blast playing in the arcade. I wish the location was attached to a skating rink or something else retro but physical to make an afternoon of it. Parking is easy, it's next to the library so no charge to park and all access is flat. Overall it's a good visit but will only occupy 1-2 hours.
