After reviewing my dash cam footage, I saw several things that led me to write this review: 1. Techs were very non-nonchalantly chatting about taking the cars they work on test drives, even going as far as saying that they've purchased their cars because of test drives at the shop. Is this a red flag? maybe... 2. Tech that performed my alignment can clearly be heard saying he is about to full send it. 3. Tech proceeded to joy ride my vehicle, high-revs, manual shift, play with radio, etc. Would my axle have broken on that day, regardless of my visit to Auto Science? Who knows... but I certainly I wish I could go back in time and NEVER trusted this shop with my property, broken or not. The shop's response: 1. Refunded my alignment... 2. Spent countless messages back and forth / uploading videos / receipts / etc. 3. Stated a couple times they would be less inclined to help if I left a negative review 4. Offered me $250 to help towards fixing the car - I decided to stop wasting my time emailing them at that point. I guess some people would think $250 is fair, since there is no tangible evidence the test drive/alignment resulted in a broken axle... I am not one of those people. I've spent an insane amount of time and a lot of effort to get my car towed/fixed at home, this doesn't even being to cover it. My opinion: It is impossible for me to treat the axle failure as an isolated event, I didn't even get a chance to push the car before it broke. TL/DR: Tech took my car on a joy ride and my driver side CV Joint blew up around ~20miles later.

Ballpark they quoted me $400-$600. Dropped my car off when I picked it up the bill was $996, and what they did instead of replacing the Catalytic Converter like I requested. they cut it in half and only changed half of the Catalytic Converter, then said "oh you need to get the back part installed soon it's going out.". They cut the Catalytic Converter in half only changed half if the Catalytic Converter now they are asking for $700 just for the missing half. I called Huffines Jeep and told them never to recommend Lorentz Automotive/Lewisville Muffler to anyone again. They are shocked that the Catalytic Converter got cut in half. Now I am looking for someone to install 1/2 , Huffines said they only install complete Catalytic Converter

They told me it was actually both of my converters, which devastated me. I knew I couldn't afford it. Then, they actually took the time to research and look for ways to save money. The guy that helped me out actually found a special coverage warranty for my model and my converters were actually covered. I set up the appt with Huffines Chevy, and they did the work and replaced it free of charge. I had tears in my eyes. They truly made my christmas special, and I can't thank them enough. They have always given us estimates and services before the service is started. I have never had a vehicle that wasn't repaired or recommended repairs that we decided to or not to replace.. We had one 2013 SUV with about 80,000 miles that to be repaired for any long term use needed about $7,000 to $8,000. We that car traded to an automotive dealer with full knowledge of the work that needs to be done. In my humble opinion they are the best in Denton Count.

This was a first rate auto shop repair shop until it sold. The new owner owners are sharpies…read moreespecially the young man who manages the front. I had a clutch repair and rear seal work done in April 2022. I paid $1,865.02. All the transmission drive parts had to be replaced this month. I called All Makes and reported the transmission problems on Oct. 26, 2023. The young manager said it was in warranty and to bring it into the shop for repair on Monday Oct. 30 which I did. Late that afternoon he called to say that there was nothing wrong with the clutch and drive train parts. The mechanic who drove it said that was an engine problem. This was in direct contradiction of the findings of the shop that had tested it before I brought back to All Makes. He, All Makes MGR, said that to look at the spark plug (1) and check the timing he would have to charge me $473! I told him I would pick the up the vehicle immediately which I did. The second shop did the repairs and saved the parts replaced as I had requested, The clutch plate, pressure plate, and throw out bearing. He also replaced the flywheel which was rough and should have been replaced when the first repair was made. I paid $1,101.00 for the new repair.
