Yelp Challenge 2016. 75 /116 This gas station has always had higher prices than other Cheverons 10 miles South. I guess it is all about location and supply and demand. Since this is one of the last stops before heading down Kanan to Malibu and one of a handful of gas stations in the area people pay the price. Always a line here too. Good luck finding a empty pump. For me I gas up here after leaving T.O. because it is convienant, open 24/7 and easy access off and on the 101 South. Plus on holidays most of T.O. shuts down, and on other days I'm lucky to find something open past 10 pm. But every time I fill up here, I cringe knowing I'm paying a good .10 more. It has always been like this since I was a kid. This place has a newer convenience store. Real fancy inside. Tons of international type candies, snacks, cold and hot drinks, lottery, ect. I've written a handful of gas station reviews. Some are God awful stations and some are good, but I will be writing 3 consecutive gas station reviews -- all Chevron's and all within a few miles. Why? Well, the main thing is that they all are right off the freeway and that, my friends, makes them very convenient. Why some more? They all have a common thing -- Randy likes. I rarely have to go in and get a drink, sour patch kids, or beef jerky -- but when I do, it's as clean as clean can be. I more frequently just want to do what's quick and fill up and go, and this location is the best at that from the 101 South direction, this Chevron takes the cake -- just at the end of a long ramp Prices are higher than the norm, 20 to 30 cents more, but worth every penny if your time has anything to do with it. read more

This location has a HUGE Chevron sign that can be seen off the freeway. If you miss the sign, then you know it is time for you to go to the optometrist. This location is well lite and looks very clean, new, and inviting. The credit card prices here were a couple cents cheaper than the other location down the street, but the other location gives you cash or debit payment discounts. Clean and convenient. Right off the 1015 fwy at Kanan. Prices are higher, But they are one of the last gas stations heading toward Malibu. The store is clean. Customer Service could use some work, but then again, it seems most gas stations lack an enthusiastic employee. They have a large selection of last minute beach munchies, sunblock, umbrellas, etc. Yes they are pricey, But it's about convenience right? It's really difficult going left out of their parking lot. Went into this gas station attempting to make an iced coffee. Coffee was EXTREMELY diluted. I threw that coffee away and proceeded to make a hot one. I cashed out and after sale recognized he charged me 7.00 dollars extra! He charged me for 3 cups and told me I had to pay the max for wasting his product! BEAUTIFUL location. However their coffee was referred to everyone in the car for the entire trip as "the sludge". No one could drink more than a sip. It was HORRID. We normally love this brand of cappachino but this location had super thick and syrupy gunk instead. Also. They charge $6.99 for a charger that I bought offline for 99¢ and they charge for air. A sign outside says that part of the profits for the charge for air go to charity, but I'm guessing it all goes into the appearance of this place... read more

All bathrooms closed off and not because there was problem but because the man working had cleaned them and didn't want them used. Ridiculous, especially since this location is off a highly travelled route. We patronized them for gas before knowing. Had to go elsewhere for a pit stop. Not cool. read more

Best selection of snack food ever! I wish the store part of all gas stations were as well stocked as this place.

We used to look forward to our stop at this service station because it was clean, had a great selection of beverages and snacks, and the prices were okay for the location. We always found something new to buy and enjoy whether driving up the coast or back home. We noticed Memorial Day weekend that there was no restroom open to the public. None. When we stopped this month, we found the men's and women's restrooms were closed and there was only one restroom for both genders. The line up was huge and when someone took a long time, the rest of the line suffered......and suffered a long time. Lots of complaining. Chevron, you need two restrooms. Make both of them gender friendly, but you need TWO. As for us, we found a very nice Chevron down the hill in Ventura with very easy freeway access. Clean and a separate restroom for each gender. This is our new service station for all of our north-south trips. read more

Disappointing service..!! I've been getting gas at this gas station for years. On Saturday I stopped by to fill my tank and decided to buy a couple lottery tickets as I was feeling "lucky". After paying for the gas at the pump I walked in to purchase a Powerball ticket and a couple scratchers. The clerk looked bored / giving the appearance that he'd prefer to be anywhere but there. He proceeded to get my power ball ticket, but said he couldn't sell me any scratchers because he was just ending his shift and had already counted the scratchers. I didn't really understand what he had said the first time, so he repeated the statement. I point to the case sitting six inches away from me and said the tickets are right there...can't you simple change the count. He shook his head. Honestly, it would have taken him less time to change the count than it took him to explain why he couldn't sell me the scratchers I wanted. What happened to valuing your customer's time and going the extra mile to make sure your customers feel appreciated, valued & happy to give their business to you. I left the gas station thinking he was lazy, more interested in doing what was good for him and completely satisfied with doing the bare minimum. He had a choice to provide exception service and I have a choice too. Thank you for making that decision easy...I will do everything I can to avoid getting gas at this station. read more
