This Vons continues to sell old and expired food! I went to the store on September 20, 2025 to get some juice and was disappointed to find OLD and EXPIRED fruit juices. Please see photo where you can see refrigerated juices that I took off the shelf that expired in JUNE 2025. These refrigerated juices were 3 MONTHS expired and nobody from the store noticed. We rely on grocery stores to follow safety protocol, and this store is sorely lacking and has been for a while Please check your expiration dates if you shop at Vons in Agoura Hills because apparently the store doesn't. read more

I honestly can't believe I'm wasting my time reviewing a grocery store but my God the employees are so incredibly rude and UNBELIEVABLY incompetent. It's truly insane. None of them know their company's policies and are too lazy to ask their managers so they make things up when you ask them a question or make up their own rules because they don't want to put in the time to actually know the actual company policies. Then when you press them on it they flounder to ask the right person and turns out they're completely wrong! This has happened to me on several occasions. I HATE this store and management needs to shape up. It is mostly the female check out staff that are horribly rude and have no clue what's going on. Though after having dealt with the managers there, I can see why the staff are so poorly trained. read more

Their price is more than Ralph's who's on the other side of the street. They have no self check out machine. Limited cashiers. This happens 3x and today I just realized that the cashier who happens to be tending in the cashier just round off the change, meaning if your change has some 95 cents which is my case today, they wouldn't bother including it. I wondered how my change would be exact the whole time and today looked at the receipt and realized it. read more

Great experience ordering Sandwich Trays from the Vons Deli on Kanan Road in Agoura Hills. They came out AMAZING. The staff was wonderful. Big shout-out to Ima for helping me choose/ order 2 Croissant Sandwich Trays and the 2 Finger Sandwich Trays. They tasted delicious, and the presentation looked beautiful! I am 77 and my husband 83. we live in Orange County, Ca and we were driven to Agoura to attend our nephews' wedding which was at the village. Being light headed , I had left my phone in the rest room. a brand new one. Seriously, items in the clearance section are more expensive than on the shelves, new. I'd switch to Ralph's close by because at least they're honest about that stuff. Customer service is high on my list when it comes to grocery choices. During Covid isolation, this becomes even more important. This store offers contactless pick up with on line purchasing. Once one arrives at the store especially marked parking spots are clearly accessible. Once parked, there's a visible number is posted directing you to call for order drop off. Would like to give a special shot out to Kelly, the store director here. This store has it so together and it's as a result of her leadership. An item I was looking for was not listed on the online order options. Kelly was able to personally assist me in purchasing that item, additionally, an item was listed as '2 for the price of one'. The website did not indicate it was necessary for me to purchase two and receive a refund for one so when I arrived, my item free item was not in my grocery bag. One call and a trip back to the store and I had the item, thanks to Kelly's assistance once again. Employees working at this store are very fortunate to have Kelly's attentive leadership in customer service. Thank you for making this shopping experience as smooth as possible given this pandemic. Yes, they have all of these. It's no Gelson's or Whole Foods -- but when Trader Joe's doesn't have it, I come either here or Ralph's. However, I get easily distracted. You don't check your receipt. They screw you EVERY TIME. Today, they overcharged me over $60 on salmon, over $5 on a bag of apples, $3 on a dozen eggs...... In my opinion THAT IS STEALING! What use is fining Albertsons for stealing your money???? The fines should be returned to those that have been overcharged. Not the state. I shop here. Surprise! Its a local place, and I do appreciate that they have a Starbucks inside so that I can start my time there by sipping my tea while I shop for food and other things. I really appreciate the variety of options that they have all the time. The soups are really good, I like getting desserts here too for my kids when i don't have time to bake, and mostly-the huge range of food items that they offer. Everything you need is here. I appreciate the attention to detail in the produce isles as well. All of their fresh food is stacked and organized...its great! FRESH FRESH FRESH. I have never seen anything rotten or moldy. I feel that the produce area is always stocked fresh and that makes me happy to know that the workers here know how to make sure that their displays are always top of the line. Its nice that they have veggie options too-like the red, yellow and green peppers that they have already cut...I love that! I simply throw a package of "Apple Chicken" sausage diced up and mix i with the already cut peppers and if you kick in a little A1, couple of tablespoons of brown sugar...you have a pretty tasty meal! The combos are endless. Also, if one of your favorites isn't in plain sight...they will order it for you or help you find it. Nice right? Also, on a special note, this Vons donated generously to the many victims of the Woolsey fires. As someone who was displaced by the fires for several days...I am truly grateful for their kindness to our community. We are a small town, with big hearts and I know many employees at this store who are always smiling, helpful and so nice when you are checking out at the cash register. We are a town who pulls together and this is why I live here. This is why I shop here. I have only had great experiences here and I know I will for a long time. Thanks Vons, for always being there. Shame on Vons! My daughter bought a package of chicken at Vons on TO and Kanan in Agoura Hills today. It was dated with today's date. She went home and opened the package and it smelled bad. She called Vons and was told that there was nothing they could do about it since the package was opened. This is ridiculous! When are you going to know there is something wrong with the chicken until you open it. Vons seems to be okay with selling sub par food and is okay with the chance of making someone sick. This is NOT okay to me! No wonder Trader Joes is the favorite market to go to. They stand by their products...no questions asked. Shame on Vons! read more

When we lived in Agoura several years ago, this was the grocery store that I would frequent the most. I was in the area last week and I needed to get some groceries for dinner, so I decided to stop by and do a little shopping. I like this Vons location. It is fairly large and has a nice selection. It was clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful. I was able to find everything that I was looking for. On this day, the produce looked fresh and everything was stocked nicely. I started shopping at Vons ever since Ralphs was investigated for overcharging customers on weighed items. I was a loyal Ralphs customer for years, but this was too much for me. This location is very clean and easy to find everything. I generally shop their produce section. I like the cashier's thanking me by name once the transaction is complete. They know my name because it is printed on the receipt (Von's Club Members). Not much else to say; it's a supermarket and has basically everything you'd find at one. read more

Ordered food on line 5 days ago and. given a 3 pm appointment. Been sitting in a parking lot for over an hour - the number they say to call to pick up groceries when you arrive. / no one answered. Main number? No one answers. They have no record of my order that I paid for as with many other angry folks in the parking lot and can't even tell me when I will get the order delivered and admitted they haven't even started to put it together. While this store has a very long history in Agoura, they could improve their check out procedures which, alone, has been a reason for me to shop else. Seldom can you find assistance within the store which is frustrating for the patrons. On the positive side they have a nice produce area and help can be found there more often. Had quite a few deliveries over this past year but I'm always left feeling "meh". Most of the time I'm seriously pissed off.. by too many missing items, communication problems due to language barriers.. I'm in LA, Spanish sure, I'm game... Russian, Slovenian, Czech and so on is stretching the bounds of possibility JUST A TAD. Also... stop sending me creepers. I can look after myself- I do MMA and train a lot- but, I don't want to test my skills over a few shitty ass groceries. WHICH came neatly and carefully bagged on ONE occassion. ONE. Every other time NOPE they are thrown inside my living room sans bags, due care and any semblance of order. Also when I refuse u entry into my actual domicile- don't fucking ignore me.. bitch. I did get a nice driver once. If it was a more often than not I'd continue with vons delivery. Free HFCS laden chemical ice cream if I spend $150 on more sugary crap isn't much of a lure for this shitlady- so I'll just suck it up with A****n F***h.. what they lack in choice they make up 10x in service, cleanliness and respect. read more

I used to shop here a lot about 5 years ago. But their store has gone down hill. The veggies do not look fresh, it looks dirty, the store is always empty, and some.od their staff is so rude. BRRR...Between Ralphs just across the street and this Vons store...two of the coldest supermarkets I've ever been in...so cold!! Whenever I shop in them, I always bring a sweater, no matter how hot it is outside. As for as the store itself, I always feel like it's a little dirty. Yesterday, I picked up one of those little pieces of cakes at the bakery. I had to return it when I noticed a tiny little dead fly on the icing. Yuck! Always check your "buy by" dates here. I've noticed more than a few times that their old stock has not been cleaned off the shelves. There's one cashier whom I always avoid like the plague. He's nice enough but I really find it annoying that he has to comment on what everybody's bought. Sorry, pal, but my purchases are my business not everybody else close enough to listen to your patter. The one thing I do like about this store is, as long as you get one of the more experienced cashiers, they are very good and efficient when dealing with coupons. read more

We are living in Agoura Hills for nine months already and usually shop to Vons. They are clean, well organized, helpful, and there is enough place to circulate with the carts through the store. It is a nice place to go. They even have a Starbucks coffee inside the shop, as well as a bank. They also deliver if you go on vons.com and then choose the little link at the top of the page with delivery. I put four instead of 5 stars because they do not stock enough yoghurt so delicious dairy free, and we often empty their stock. By the way, the entire meadow commercial center is great. You find plenty of convenient stores very close to the Vons. read more

Horrible customer service! I have been a Vons customer for many years and have never been treated with such disrespect. I was shopping and purchased my items when I was about to walk out a staff told me in a very rude and disrespectful tone to empty my bag and when I asked why he said a customer stated I was stealing. I was in shock and so embarrassed showed my receipt and asked for his name. I later called to speak to store manager "kelly" informed me she would take care of it and let him know not to treat paying customers like trash. He also gave me a fake name bc she said no one works here by that name. Totally unprofessional he is on the clock! This store profiled me as a Latina and it was very obvious.
