What an absolute disaster is all I can say about my experience and even that may be an understatement. Placed a simple online order with 7:15pm scheduled pickup and proceeded to wait until 7:15 passed, 7:20 passed, 7:25 passed and 7:30 passed and my order was still no where to be found. Witnessed someone walk in and place an order at the counter and he got his food before I did, as did numerous others even though I had a scheduled pickup time. At one point they actually handed me the wrong order, but I had to point out that it was not mine, even though they handed me more food that was in my order (hey I'm honest, even in the midst of ineptitude). Eventually got my order with no apology, just a handoff and they turned around and walked away. It's funny because I was a consistent frequent customer but this is a perfect example of how to lose a loyal customer in the span of about 30 minutes. The wings were cooked to perfection. I like my wings saucy with distinct flavors, it was a little pricey in the app but I can't attest to the normal pricing. The variety of sauces for the wings was the most I've ever seen. We ordered the 10 piece wings, chose sauces: orange teriyaki and gold rush( honey based). Celery sticks and blue cheese or ranch sauce also included. Sauced wings were good as well as the side sauces( ranch and blue cheese ) with the celery sticks. Truthfully I prefer other restaurant wings even though these were quite tasty. The menu also features subs, wraps, burgers, fries, chicken tenders, shrimp, salads, kids menu and desserts. I have been to this location a few times and I have never had an issue. Today though was different. I ordered 10 wings with fries and a drink and when I left and got back to work, they had forgotten to give me my fries. So I turned around and went back, got the fries and left.. the food was cold and the wings were hard to bite into and to me, tasted overcooked and burned. It's a chain.....the chicken itself is good but the sauces are just okay. We order Asian spark - nothing sparky about it. The red tang flavor was better however some of the pieces were way over salted. The other food options may be okay, not sure I'll give them a try... The price per wing at this establishment is well worth it, a 25 rack of wings and a box of fries was all it took to send my family into a taste filled frenzy. The wet lemon pepper, mango habanero and mild buffalo wing is just what I needed to surprise my taste buds. Everything is FABULOUS about this place. From the Management to the staff to the food to the cleanliness. Thanks to Saud the General Manager. We met him at his Charlotte S. Tryon Street location and could not wait for his Indian Land, SC location to open. It is here and it is everything we thought it was going to be. Saud rolls out the red carpet for us when we come in to eat. We love it! The food is so tasty and fresh and he always makes sure we get exactly what we need. How nice he is! I am sure that the staff is honored to have such a nice Manager. The whole staff is nice but we see why, Saud hires them and it definitely starts from the top. He seems to really treat people with respect. So make sure you go in and try this gem that we were graced with. Overall we would give Chex Grill joint 3 stars. based on atmosphere, food quality and price/food taste. Ate at Chex grill, great food selection, excellent prices, we had cheesesteak and fries was pretty good. Overall restaurant is super clean, but has a very powerful cleaning scent, almost overwhelming a bit. Cheesesteak ok, could recommend having Lawy's on the side. Fries were excellent!! We stopped in this afternoon for the first time and the customer service was very good. Everyone was polite and professional but the food was not good. I had a crispy chicken sandwich that tasted identical to what you'd find in the frozen food section. The bread was stale and the patty was gross. It was one of the worst things I've had all year. My daughter had chicken tenders and said they were okay. My husband had the chicken wrap and wings, they were mediocre. We had a small side of potato salad and it wasn't good. Wing King, DD Peckers, and that's pretty much it around south Charlotte-North SC...well this place wins. Not cheap but definitely worth the price! After placing my order the younglady say we can't do tap on the register and call someone to bring a phone for me to pay for my order. I felt like i was about to be scammed. They have only been open a week but so far so good! The young man that helped us was AMAZING! He answered all of our questions and even got us sample wings to try flavors. Gave me plenty of blue cheese and the wings were cooked perfect (ordered extra crispy and 3 flavors (Buffalo Hot, Garlic Parm and Honey hot) all 3 were delicious. Since I did it online and picked up, I have no knowledge of the service or ambiance inside. I know my wings were ready, I provided my name and they handed the bags to me. I did add the celery for $1 and versus other places that give you maybe 4-5 pieces there were at least 12 to 14 pieces of about 3 inch cuts. I would definitely try them again. read more
