Henry's is one of my favorite restaurants! They have Amazing service, it starts with Lee the bar manager. He's the nicest and knows about every wine or drink you can think of. NEVER GO HERE. Went here for Thanksgiving. They ran out of Turkey. Regardless that we had reservations, they said they didn't plan enough food. The manager Drew could not have been more rude and dismissive. Not only that, we told them multiple times we were gluten-free and they kept bringing out food with gluten in it. This entire place is inept. The old owners were so much better. This place should not be serving food if they don't know what they're doing and then refuse to apologize for it afterwards. read more

I was a little early joining my friends for lunch on Saturday. Found $13. 95 lunch specials were valid in the weekend. The place was quiet and the silverware was rolled in a heavy white napkin. My waiter, Spenser, asked if I'd like a drink. Brought the water and lime promptly. I then asked if there would be enough to eat on the chicken Cesar wrap if omitted the wrap. Sure he said. Like a salad. When we all ordered, I asked for an option to the side which he agreed to with a service attitude. The orders came with no mistakes and everything looked great. My lunch was so beautifully presented and so yummy. No over done soggy lettuce from the dressing. My iced coffee that came with the lunch was wonderful and refilled. One of the diners took 1/2 a wrap home, as did I with my order. He brought boxes and bags quickly and handled the separate checks like the pro he is. (The Waldorf chicken salad sandwich was a hit with the other diner. ) You couldn't ask for better service, food or prices so if you're not a regular, you're sure to become one. read more

Yesterday we had a group of 15 go to Henry's for lunch. Our server, Rebecca, told us when we came in they only had 3 servers for lunch and she would do everything possible to serve us as quickly as possible. Rebecca worked her butt off! Our meals were delicious and all came out correctly. Sure, we had to wait a little while, but we were there to enjoy lunch and each other's company. It was our first time eating at Henry's....and I can assure you we will return. We live in Palm Beach, so it was a bit of a drive to get there but well worth it. When looking for a place to have a traditional meal for Passover, Henry's popped up in our search - the power of digital marketing! A four course meal for $49.95! How bad could it be? We made a reservation for 10 of us to dine there on Fri., April 15, 2022. The meal was exceptional. But what made it even better was Valerie, who served our table. We went there for dinner because we heard good things about it from our friend. We were seated quickly and ordered some drinks and mushroom flatbread to start. For main course, we got the pecan crusted trout and the angus burger. All the food was delicious, especially the burger which was perfectly cooked. Can't wait to come back here! We went for lunch we all got the soup/sandwich or salad/sandwich. All the sandwiches were sloppily put together as if nobody cared. Two of us had turkey sandwiches with cole slaw and Russian dressing which were nonexistent. The turkey seemed like it was thrown on the bread without any thought. I was so looking forward to this NY style sandwich but was so disappointed. The salads were pretty good. I didn't care for the taste of the "magic" soup. 3 1/2 stars. Senior friend set up Henry's as a half way point to meet for dinner on a Friday night. We had never been here so did not know what to expect. Told a client of mine that we were going and he described it as a "Seniortorium." : ) Yes, upon entering my immediate impression was that the place was packed with well dressed seniors. My guess is that it attracts folks from the surrounding country club communities. Our friend had wisely selected a table outside which was actually comfortable (and quiet) on a typical warm summer night. We were the only ones out there but it worked out really well. I was concerned that we would be overlooked but that was not the case. Our server Cherie was fantastic. She did not mind that we were the only diners outside. She was friendly, professional and efficient. Even the manager came out to check on us. Although we arrived right when the Sunset Dinner deals were ending, Cherie said it was not a problem. Most entrees came with a choice of two types of soups or salad. Got to say that my garden salad was terrific. Other salad eaters concurred. The "magical" pea soup also got raves reviews. During the Sunset Dinner time they also offer a selection of $20 bottles of wine. We had a pinot grigio which was adequate. Really nice entrees to select from. Some came with two sides. I chose the chicken francese with smashed red potatoes and mixed julienne veges. The portion was huge. Two large pieces of chicken breast over a generous portion of the potatoes. Way more than I could finish. Have I had better? Yes, but this was solid. My wife raved about the grilled salmon with a pomegranate glaze. Her portion was also so large she could not finish it. Other diners had shrimp dishes which looked delicious. Obviously, all too stuffed for desert. read more

It is such a shame that on Thanksgiving they can not offer single person dinners. We had been to Henry's many times in the past but we heard that kee grill had purchased the restaurant. Now we had gone to an early dinner bird at kee grill the week before and was very happy with the food and ambiance there. A So we went early bird dinner at Henry restaurant. The place was unchanged from the prior owner the menu was similar. I had their famous split pea soup and a Greek salads I had the fish special. They brought out bread which was delicious. They also had an early bird wine special. 20 bucks for a more then acceptable red my companion had a chicken dinner. Again I am disabled with wheelchair and again they were very accommodating. Very rarely do I post a review but this time it's an exception. Arrived and seated courteously but had to wait for service to 15 minutes. Ok everyone needs staff. We ordered the crispy shrimp and the Thanksgiving dinner. The shrimp arrived full of oil only warm and was certainly not crispy. They exchanged it for the chicken egg roll. That arrived over cooked and it was tasteless. Moving on the dinner arrived. Everything was very good except the turkey. The turkey was one of those rolled pressed together pieces of whatever that even at a diner I have never experienced it. This is Henry's. Ugg. Will never to there again read more

Had a fabulous dinner lastnight. Love their half price on wine on Wednesday too! Food was excellent. I shared the Brussels with bacon & fried egg with my husband as it was really a huge starter. Super yum. 2 others had the magical pea soup that they loved. Mains were the veal chop Milanese (huge & very good- half came home with me), the wasabi steak and the tuna. Other than my plate, all others were demolished as everyone really enjoyed their meals. The place was very busy when we arrived so it took a little time to order but once Donald our server came over, he was very attentive the rest of the night. Had dinner here again about two weeks ago. This time we didn't have to ask for the kids menu. As a parent, they have one of my favorite kids' menus anywhere as there are some really good healthy options which are reasonably priced. One kid had the pasta with chicken meatballs and a side of broccoli. Another had the chicken quesadilla. And bonus as Sunday through Thursday, the kids' meals are free - and now it is written on the menu! On to what the rest of us ate. One companion had a burger. Another went with the miso-marinated skirt steak. They also had the pea soup and say it is still amazing. I had the Chicken Chop with thai sauce and whipped sweet potatoes. Good. We got there a little early and they had a sunset menu, from which I was able to get that same entree a little cheaper plus they threw in a tasty salad. I kicked myself after I ordered as I forgot to order the chicken eggroll appetizer, which I had when I visited previously. When I had before, it was on a bed of delicious smashed avocado. This was some of the best service I've experienced in South Florida. Henry's raises the bar. The bartenders were professional and very accommodating. The restaurant was crowded but we were seated right on time. I ordered the shrimp and pancetta dish, our server was able to give me extra veggies in lieu of the pasta which I greatly appreciate! My dish was excellent! I will try to replicate it at home , but most likely In will just come here to have it again. The ingredients were super fresh, cut up shrimp, little bits of pancetta with spinach, goats cheese and cherry tomatoes. I also had a Caesar salad (he asked if I liked anchovies) with the anchovies and it was excellent. The pre fixed menu which included an app or salad or soup with an entree and beverage is a sweet deal. My husband enjoyed his chicken francaise. read more

Just ordered take-out. They forgot an entree. Called to let them know and the young woman who answered the phone was indifferent and didn't even offer an apology. She said I could come back and get it which I wasn't interested in doing because the entire family had already sat down for dinner. She offered a refund which I accepted. However, this was the service I received and the way I was treated after tipping 15 dollars on a takeout order. Mistakes happen as annoying as they are, but it was the lack of service that was the nail In the coffin for me. Won't be returning and my family has been eating here for years. One of my favourites! Food was very good and the service was the best. Nice setting, especially the covered outdoor patio.

Great ambiance. Food consistently good, service pleasant and accommodating. Always go back for a little upscale dining.

The best part of the meal was our waiter John. He was funny and lighthearted. Food was average at best! Acoustics are horrendous. The din of 75 year olds was deafening. The sorry we can't seat incomplete parties is a customer service nightmare as everyone jams in on the 7 foot sofa trying to argue there way to a table. Tuna poke was seared, chopped and a mush. The chopped salad looked as old as clientele. Really who are you here for the servers or the paying clients. Just a really annoying restaurant if you are under 60. Guess it's perfect for the surrounding neighborhoods. We won't be back. read more

This was my first time at Henry's and it was amazing! The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The food was beyond amazing from the appetizers (Chicken sausage flatbread, pot stickers and the Brussels Carbonara) to the steak dinners we had. Everything was cooked to perfection and was accompanied by delicious sides. I was told I had to wait for my party to arrive before I could be seated....there were at least 10 empty tables available. The Hostess was extremely rude & unprofessional. I went out to wait and sat at an empty table when a waitress came over & in a nasty high pitched voice told me to get up that I could not sit until my other party arrived...a gentleman was sitting at a table waiting for his party to arrive, NO ONE CAME TO TELL HIM HE COULDN'T SIT AT THE TABLE. I was invited to dine at Henry's to try out an assortment of both their new menu items and some customer favorites. We started out with a selection of appetizers: The Tuna Napoleon, Lobster & Shrimp Flatbread, and Poached Pear & Crispy Goat Cheese Salad. I enjoyed all three, although -- eater beware -- the garlic flavor in the flatbread was quite potent! I would have been perfectly content with just the salad, which I found truly delicious, but there was more eating to be done! Next up was a sampling of three of their entrees: The Caramelized Onion Crusted Snapper, Chicken Saltimboca and fall-apart slow cooked Short Rib (of which I took at tiny nibble since I'm not a red meat eater. The flavor was excellent.) All three dishes were flavorful and beautifully plated. But the real showstopper, as frequent visitors know, was the dessert plate. Though the rich Warm Chocolate Molten Cake, tangy Key Lime pie and luscious Coconut Cream Pie were all lovely, the were quite literally overshadowed by a towering piece of Six Layer Carrot Walnut Cake. You can see servers parading around with these mammoth cake slices throughout the dining room all evening long as I'm pretty sure that the first order of the night piques the interest of surrounding diners and beckons for a taste. Overall, my dining experience at Henry's was great, and the service was outstanding. It's no wonder the dining room was bustling; it seems locals know a good spot when they see one. read more

Without a doubt, the food at Henry's is good. It is consistent. Not 5 star, but an honest to goodness meal that will leave you happy. I plan on returning because I just like it there. It is pretty and for me, it has a little of whatever everyone wants. It's not way over the top expensive and they pour a good cocktail. What Henry's is is sour. In particular, the hostess area team. It is not that they are not working hard (they are). It is not that they do not try an accommodate (they do). But with a fake, phony, snappy, snarly attitude. Henry's, for whatever it is worth, is not where the young people hang. A majority of the patrons are the elderly, or the elderly with their families. Many people have Covid concerns, and frankly Covid aside, the elderly can be super-particular in where they like to sit (too cold, too close to the door, not here, not there). This is not a new phenomenon. It is simply that there is not reason to roll your eyes or be snappy when you know your customers are a tough crowd in that way. There is no reason to sigh or make someone feel as though you are talking behind their back. I'll say again, Henry's has tried really hard through these tough conditions, and I am thankful (and grateful) for their job well done. But I think it is important for the staff to know they need to re-group, maybe a group meeting or something and re-adjust themselves and their attitudes. Lastly, with all the Covid cleaning, the tables have become unbearably sticky. Not dirty. Just sticky from the over-use of cleaning products. Please address. read more

Very good west Delray restaurant that is VERY popular with the Country Club Medicare aged crowd. I have been here for lunch and dinner and was pleased both times. For lunch I had their basic burger and fries, but they also offered a large menu of salads and flatbreads. For dinner I had the grilled fish special and it was also very good. Inside seating ( recently they added padded to the walls to help with the noise). Parking is free and there are spots surrounding the whole entrance of Henry's. Loved all of our appetizers which I have posted photos : #1 the mushroom, leek, roasted garlic, truffle oil flat bread ! Wow the crunch on this flat bread and the savory sensations of the toppings have been on my mind since my first bite. it is not like a typical bready pizza esk flatbread, its what a flatbread should always taste like! The chicken spring rolls - were not my most favorite, i felt like there was too much ground up chicken and not enough veggies, but it was not a spring roll which i am used to. everyone i dined with LOVED the avocado that garnishes the roll. Very fresh for a deep fried item Brussels Sprouts - YUM with BACON ! Magical split Pea Soup - it felt very vegan which it was, i love that henrys has vegan options ! i personally thought it could use some spice, but im not a frequenter of split pea soup the consistency was great ! MY SALAD WAS AMAZING I WANT IT EVERYDAY the Mediterranean one - with eggplant cakes - the eggplant cakes was the absolutely most perfection of cripsy on the outside, any latke potatoe "cake" should taste like Henry's Eggplant Cake. WOW ! the dressing was light and lemony not too heavy and makes you feel healthy and refreshed. perfect balance of veggies to lettuce. you could also add a number of items to your salads - chicken, shrimp, tuna, mahi, salmon can't wait to visit florida and go back to henrys ! read more

First time ever I have walked out of a restaurant. Waitress was nice but they gave us a table in an area where we specifically requested not to be. Asked for hostess who refused to move us even though there were other tables available. She said she would ask manager. He came over and was extremely rude. His final comment to me was "You didn't come here to eat, you came here to argue". We politely got up and left. Once again, I have never walked out of a restaurant before. I have never been spoken to like that. I shall never return to Henry's in Delray Beach. read more

Very good restaurant. I've been here a couple times recently and got the same thing each time because the salad is so good. My boss is a regular here so this is where we go when he wants to take us out to lunch lol. He gets the same thing every time as well and the waitress always remembers his order. Next time I go I might have to get something else because I'm sure the rest of the menu is just as good! read more
