The thai chicken curry empanadas kicked me in the taste buds so hard it sent laughter and joy to all the little children of the world and made Oprah believe in Jesus again. The drunken noodles were drowning in tears of joy and liberation. Liberating my tastes bud's soul from years of crappy restaurant oppression. Not the best food I've had, not the worst. I had the pad thai and it was really bland. Needed seasoning of any kind. There were no signs when we came in so we didn't know whether to sit or wait, and we had to grab our own menus. Over priced for the quality of the food. Atmosphere was cool. read more

I really really wanted to like this place. So I gave it four tries. Each time I came, I ordered the same thing which was the Pad Thai shrimp. The first time, it was great and I enjoyed it. In fact, it was one of the best pad thai's I have tasted here in Florida. Then something strange happened. The second time it was too salty with too much sauce and was almost like a soup. I thought perhaps they had an off day and it would be better the third time. So the third time i ordered, it was much better than the second time, but still a little bit too salty with too much sauce. Then the fourth time I came, which was today, the same thing happened. Too salty with too much sauce. Perhaps the very first time I came in, a specific person could have cooked my order and hasn't cooked any of my orders since then, but that's just a speculation. I'm not going to lie, when I saw Latin and Thai I made a face. In the spirit of trying new things I called a couple of stuff to go. Pad kee mao (drunken noodles) good flavor, love the fresh veggies but a little dry. I wish there were a smidgen more sauce. The chicken tastes really good- not dry and very seasoned. Pad see ew see above! Thai beef salad YUM!! Could use a little more lemon or lime but super small issue. Very refreshing and filling. TOM YUM IS AMAZING!!! It's not on their menu (the owner said he sometimes doesn't have galangal roots) but I'm soooo happy they had it when I came. I am a HUGE tom yum fan and am very particular. It has to be a lighter broth, full of chili and lemongrass flavors. The shrimps were yummy and plentiful (never hurts!). I legit finished it all. It is a little expensive for the portion but would I order again? Hell yes. Totally come here and give it a try you won't be disappointed!!! The basil ground chicken was amazing!! It comes with a fried egg on top of the rice. I initially tried to modify the order but Adam was so helpful in explaining things and gave me the recommendation to try it as is and boy he did not disappoint!! It was so spicy and flavorful that I didn't save any for leftovers like I thought I would. :) Love the food... And they deliver! My new lunch treat at work when I want Thai! Yum!!! We've had the pleasure of eating here multiple times now and I highly recommend it. The Beef Salad is delicious and wonderfully spicy. If you're into more familiar foods and want to ease your way in, try the Chicken Satay. Grilled chicken skewers with a sweet and savory peanut dipping sauce. They have a unique menu with Thai, Latin, and Sandwiches. Do not pass up the specials as they will not disappoint. Quan is an amazing cook and I love that you feel like family when you eat here. We were in desperate need of a sandwich, and discovered this Thai sandwich fusion place. They've got noodles, Sammy's and wings....oh my! I got the pad kee mooowww, and it was perfectly spicy and quite yummy! My sister got the Tom Yum Yum chicken Sammy and devoured the thing. This place is delicious, and very hip. We eat out quite a bit and are really looking to find good restaurants that are consistent in the Melbourne area. Chez Quan's is a fantastic little place with a smart mix of Thai and Hispanic mix that is really something other than else. I go here every couple of weeks, and haven't been disappointed. The staff is young, the chefs are very talented, the decor is funky. It feels like it should be in Battery Park on a side street; that spot you must try. It really is. Chez Quan has stepped up their game in the year since I first Yelped about them. I gave them 4 stars before, but they deserve 5 stars now. Why? The expended into a larger space and redid their interior. In early 2015 I thought of Chez Quan as the second best Thai restaurant in the Space Coast, but when the old owners of Thai Kitchen moved back to Thailand, Chez Quan, was left with no worthy competitor for the Best Thai in the Space Coast crown. (The new owners of Thai Kitchen do a good job but that restaurant will never return to its former glory). I have NEVER had a bad meal at Chez Quan. Adam (the co-owner and front of house manager) and Ms. Quan are kind and gracious hosts. The Thai Basil Minced Chicken is so good it's worth making a special trip from Satellite Beach for this dish alone. The prices are still reasonable. If they opened a beachside location I would go every week. If you have not gone to Chez Quan you are missing out on a local gem. read more

Very fun, friendly, family atmosphere. If they have summer rolls available I highly recommend you try them. Very tasty, light, and the sauce is subtle with a tinge of heat. They have a tom yum sandwich that I hear tastes just like the soup, I may venture to try it one day if I can keep my hands off the beef salad! Adam is a great host, but has an unusual liking of Bobby Brown. He told me he likes to dress up as him and jam out to "Every Little Step"if it's a slow day...it was awkward that I caught him on a slow day. But the food and service are amazing, his mother makes the most wonderful meals and makes sure you're enjoying it. :-) This is a great place to try delicious Thai food, or grab some Empanadas, while listening to stories of Adam being so terrible at badminton that all the women he played against used to laugh at him. Chez Quan's redefines the title of "Latin-Thai mixed" cuisine. The restaurant itself lies in a dinky part of Melbourne, and although finding it proves easy, if it were in a more noticeable place, it would get many more customers. As we went there for the first time, the restaurant looked kind of shady from the outside. The interior of the restaurant, however, brought a whole new essence to the restaurant. The decor consisted of various elements, including Thai newspapers pinned to the roof of the kitchen. The menu was filled with many jokes and puns, and so was the owner. As we(my siblings and I) talked to Adam(the owner) and his mother Chez Quan, they really seemed to care about us not only as customers, but as people as well. The restaurant's menu adapts easily to vegetarian as well as vegan food, but the wait time gets compromised as a consequence. Adam saw this, and to make up for the long wait, gave us free drinks, a very kind act. The Thai iced tea and the Thai coffee are both fantastic, but very heavy on the cream. I ordered the Lo Mein Noodles(vegetarian style) and the cooks took special care to make sure that were differentiated from the meat-cooked dishes. I mean this with the most seriousness when I say it is the best Thai food I've ever had. EVER. The tofu was cooked so tenderly, and the addition of seasonal vegetables supplemented the noodles quite well. My siblings also enjoyed the Pad Kee mOOWWW and the Bowl-O-Yeung, which were very spicy but flavorful.Truly the best mix of the Thai and Latin cuisine, the bowl, with black beans and other vegetables, along with the tofu and other Thai elements. The empanada was filled with curry chicken, potato, and sweet potato. So good! For lunch we split the Spicy minced basil chicken Thai style, the Tom Yum Yum chicken Sammy, and the Thai hot beef salad. I cannot picks favorite between the spicy basil chicken and the beef salad. The 2nd time we split the pad Thai instead of the Sammy, and it was excellent. This place does everything right from start to finish. The prices are very reasonable. Mrs Quan visited and talked about cooking foods she liked and grew up with and could not find locally. Shared her secrets of perfecting the dishes; spot on advice such as fresh ingredients, attention to detail and a hot wok. They do it right. We have a lot of Thai restaurants in the space coast, and I like them all, but this is real deal, authentic taste like Southeast Asia, Thai food. Called in an order here a few days ago, the thai food was good. I'm Thai so, I critique a little harder :)! Good portions for the price. I like to frequent places that salute the military so I asked if they did military discount. Was told yes and that they'll give me the new total when I arrive to pay. When paying, the lady told me "we usually do" but no they aren't doing military discount "right now". So- 4 stars for the false info but otherwise a good place to eat ;) read more

This is Eau Gallie, places won't look as polished and fancy as elsewhere in Melbourne, but don't worry, it's not dangerous! Some parts of the kitchen/order area are pretty divey using newspapers and magazine covering as wallpaper and eclectic island knick knacks adorning random corners that do give the place some character. Hopefully they don't polish it too much and keep it feeling homey and beachy. //SERVICE\\ This is a family-run establishment, and they take pride in that. You can tell by how Quan's son genuinely tries to chat with you and make individual recommendations. Of course, he oversells everything, but it's the kind of enthusiasm that gives the place warmth.
