Delicious food as always and excellent service. Had lunch specials, and the serving sizes were plenty large. Had pasta with their stellar meat sauce and salad, with their excellent dressing. Sourdough rolls were fresh and hot. Others at our table had the half roast beef sandwich and salad. The sandwich was six inches and very full of roast beef and roasted peppers and onions. Served with an au jus that has a hint of tomato in it. We ordered a small cheese pizza because I can't go to Chi Chi's Pizza without a taste of their pizza (my all time favorite pizza). I came here with my coworkers on Memorial Day around 3PM. We were seated right away and the experience began! Food: We ordered a medium super deluxe, which is similar to a "works" pizza, and the combo wings. The super deluxe is good, the crust isn't too thick and the instead of the cheese being under the toppings, it was on top of the toppings. I think i've only seen this once, but I could see how it'll make things more difficult if you have someone who wants to remove a certain topping. It met my expectations. The wings come in 4 flavors, and the combo option allowed us to try all four. I like the Chi-Chi's flavored wings the best, but is very similar to the traditional buffalo style. The wings were packed with chicken, which is always a plus. Service: Our waitress was very kind, and came by often to check up on us and refill our water. Above standard on the customer service! Atmosphere: Chi Chi's Pizza can accommodate any type of event. Good for families with young kids, and I could see it being a date place as well. Value: I'd say Chi Chi's pizza is worth your money. Ordered pick up this past Saturday and what a huge disappointment! Called in an order of three 12-piece Golden Chicken Wings. I repeated my order several times on the phone, confirming a total of 36 pieces of GOLDEN wings. Simple. They said order would take 25-30 mins. Arrived at restaurant about 30 mins later. Waited another 10. After checking the inside of the bag, the wings were ChiChi...not golden. Heard the employees in the back discussing and the person who took my phone order said Golden was written on the ticket. Then, another person came back to me and said, You said ChiChi on the phone. I was so surprised that the finger was pointed back at me. The customer. Had to wait another 20 mins in the restaurant for them to remake the order. Was disappointed again with one tiny bag of carrots and celery. I inquired that the veggie sticks were so minimal, considering I ordered three orders of wings. Response: Sorry, that's all that it comes with. Would have been a nice gesture to throw in a few more carrot sticks for my wasted time and starving family at home. I love the atmosphere this place creates. The lighting and decoration inside gives you a sense of comfort. Everything is clean and orderly. Our server was alright. Seemed distracted but I get it. Really disappointed. I recently found Fido's in the valley and realized that they are a sister store of ChiChis. I loved Fido's fettuccine Alfredo and they said it would be the same pasta at ChiChis. Considering ChiChis is in my area I decided to try last night. The pasta was not the same. The noodles did not taste cooked enough, the sauce wasn't seasoned. It gave me the worst stomach ache almost immediately after I ate it, and I could not even finish it. I was also so excited for the sourdough bread rolls, which I had to ask to be included in my bag. They were HARD as a rock. Had to throw them both away, I couldn't even break them in half. I am very sad that I wasted $15, on a hope that it would taste the same. Chi Chi's pizza, always a family favorite! Something about that cheese...I like getting large pepperoni and jalapeño. The noodles are also something to talk about. We love visiting on the weekends. It's even more splendid when you get the best server in town, Nikki with her genuine smile and compassion. I came here for lunch with my sister and since neither of us had been here before, we wanted to try both their pizza and pasta. We ordered a plain Cheese Pizza and because they make their own pasta, we both ordered the homemade spaghetti. With her trying the Meatless and me going with the Meat Sauce. We also received complimentary sourdough rolls with our meals. First the rolls. Now I'm a huge fan of sourdough, so you really can't go wrong with a hot sourdough roll and butter with me. But somehow, how do I put this ... these rolls didn't taste sourdoughy enough for me? Not sure if that makes sense but they didn't taste much like sourdough. I just wasn't impressed. Next the pizza. My first thoughts when trying it, I've had better pizzas delivered. Just wasn't feeling the pizza at all. Thin, limp and greasy are how I would describe it. Next the pasta. The pasta wasn't too bad. Chewy and fresh, but nothing I would rave or come back for. In total I wasn't a fan of Chi Chi's. I will say my sister enjoyed the food more and overall thought it was pretty decent. We've been to this Chi Chi's location on Soledad Canyon several times and have always received adequate to good service, nothing to literally write about. However, our experience on Friday night (Nov 11) was really great. Our server was Eliana, a very sweet and attentive young lady. She always kept checking on us, making sure we had enough water and drinks. The best part for me was, when I ordered my pizza well done (a must at Chi Chi's or else it's basically pizza soup), she brought the pizza and asked if it looked ok or should they heat it a little more. In all the years I've been coming here, no other server ever asked me that. Furthermore, some of my "well done" orders in the past came back looking (and feeling) anything but what I expected. so basically, i met my college roommate, maddie, on instagram a couple of months ago! we had been DMing and we got along pretty well! although we have lived in the same city and attended the same school district, we have never met in person. I asked my friends to give recommendations for fine Italian dining. they said that chi chi's was pretty good. neither of us had ever been to chi chi's, however, we were down to try it out! i was soooooo nervous. i was literally SHAKING at the wheel while i was driving up to the restaurant. BUT it turned out well and we had a good time once we finally met up and saw each other!! when i sat down, there was bread! usually, i realllllly love bread. but idk it was a little dry. however! the water that was served was pretty good. i liked it. i got the chicken alfredo pasta. it was very very good! she got the same thing, but without the chicken (its because she is vegetarian!!! so cool!!!!) the rest of the dinner and our conversation were nice. we talked about our personal prom experiences, our graduation stories, our friend groups, our families, and our excitement about moving into our college dorms. there were a couple of moments where it felt a little tense/ awkward, but that's natural and bound to happen. I'm very glad that we met now, so we can be able to feel more comfortable with each other, faster. maddie seems soooo awesome and i can't wait to be her roomie!!!! anyways, thanks chi chi's for being an awesome place for us to meet up! I'd give more stars, but wow have my last few orders been frustrating. Since there is no option to order online for pickup we are forced to call in our orders. Unfortunately, it is more than apparent that the person taking the order can never hear the order being said due to how loud it is around them. This is now the 3rd time in a couple months where my order has been completely butchered. It's either a pizza of the wrong size that's noticed upon pickup (sol at that point) or like tonight, my large antipasto salad has not a single deli meat (salami or pepperoni) & even worse, no cheese! I could handle the salad without the meat, but come on, it's a waste of a salad with no cheese. Argh. Very very frustrating. I had to repeat each of my order items at least 3 times for the person taking my order & it was not because of my phone. Please either start doing online orders or giving the people taking the orders some headsets where they can hear people better. I can not open every bag & search for every dang topping/Ingredient in everything each time I pick up an order. I have been a regular customer here for over 2 decades & I'm now getting so frustrated with my order being wrong that I'm just about done ordering from here. Oh & on top of the numerous wrong orders, nothing at all is ever offered to remedy the situation. Please do something to stop this from happening so much so you do not lose so many long time customers. I find it hard to believe that myself & others in my family are the only ones this happens to. One word: UNBELIEVABLE. What a complete JOKE. We arrived at 8:45pm and were seated at 8:48pm. We sat and waited 25 minutes without being helped. We were SEVEN people!!!!!!!!!!!! SEVEN PEOPLE were not acknowledged, no drink order, not a hello, no bread offered, absolutely NOTHING. It was like we were INVISIBLE!!!!!!! We got up after 25 min of waiting seeing that everyone around us was being assisted. I asked the front desk people to speak with the manager, her name is Claire. She made a weak attempt to say sorry. Been going here regularly for probably 20 years. What I know for certain is you will never find better pizza or broasted chicken dinner. The wholewheat rigatoni is always Al dente. The antipasto salad is perfect. Fresh warm bread and the best service. Many of the servers have been working here as long as I have been eating here, which tells me they treat there employees as well as they treat their customers.
