    Ginger fried w/ chicken

Some of the best Thai food I've ever had. We also appreciated the specials. We had the ginger fried w/ chicken and the tom yum rice with chicken. We're already dreaming of going back the next time we visit.

Right in Victor, ID, near our Airbnb, we found Thai food that hit the spot. We took a seat and were greeted by the friendly staff. Seasoned peanuts, along with iced water, were brought to the table, and we devoured the peanuts. We tried the Khao Soi with chicken that contained crispy and boiled egg noodles, topped with Cilantro in a spicy broth. A side of pickled mustard greens, onions, and lime was also provided. Maybe not as rich and savory as I've had before, but still delicious overall. The portion size was good, and the dish contained a good amount of chicken. I viewed pics on Yelp of Pad See Ew. However, it was not on the menu. The server informed us that it was on the secret menu and we decided to try it. It was definitely different than I've had before and made with thin noodles. Flavorwise, it was good and tasted more like Pad Thai. Great customer service and a welcomed choice for us who wanted something different.

My bf and I have been to Chiang Mai and we're very excited to try this restaurant! It was so good! My bf love khao soi and was not disappointed! My personal favorite was the pad kra pow and of course the fried bananas. The drinks were fairly cheap and the server was very nice. It started picking up late I'm the evening and was packed in the restaurant and made service a little slower but we didn't mind. So excited to see so many people enjoying these foods! Must visit restaurant.

Everything was absolutely spectacular, much of this cuisine is from Northern Thailand. The street ribs are juicy tender and flavorful with the perfect amount of spice. I loved everything on their appetizer sampler but the star was the northern Thai sausage great spices in the sausage can tell this is house made. The Khai soi was fantastic a beautiful coconut broth with Kaiffer lime leaves very fragrant with a perfect amount of spice. I loved the combination of the egg noodles with the crispy noodles. The kids ordered a kids garlic chicken with sticky rice and carrots and the university ramen both are every bite. The Thai iced tea was refreshing and great if I lived here would come at least once a week.

An absolute gem serving authentic Thai food in Idaho. After visiting Thailand I feel in love with Chiang Mai and the Khao Soi, after finding this restaurant I was beyond excited and not disappointed. The beers are cheap so drink up! The Khao Soi is an absolute must, the curry and coconut broth is to die for. Plenty of noodles and protein are included as well but that broth is to die for. Everything we ordered was incredible. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. If I was a local I would be here every week if not multiple times.

My friends and I started off with some Thai Iced Teas which were solid! We then ordered the following: Pad Kee Mao w/crispy duck Spicy Fried Rice w/chicken Tom Kha Soup w/shrimp Pad See Ew w/beef Green curry w/chicken Honestly, everything was delicious but the ones that really stood out were the pad kee mao w/crispy duck and the tom kha soup w/chicken. The crispy duck was fantastic- juicy, tender, flavorful, and freshly fried. The noodles and seasoning/sauce in the pad kee mao were also good. As for the tom kha soup, the broth was very flavorful from the lemongrass, lime, galangal, etc. And the coconut milk added a nice creaminess to the soup. Not to mention, there was so much chicken, veggies, and mushrooms in the soup! Overall, my friends and I were very pleasantly surprised from our experience here at Thai Plate and we hope to come back when we visit Jacksonhole again!

We did not feel like customers rather an inconvenience to this place. Ordered drinks and appetizers, took 35 minutes to get our drinks. Even when we asked a couple of times. We received first of our two appetizers after 25 minutes, served at separate times then waitress brought out only one drink of three, asked for other two drinks got a clear attitude from our waitress telling us she'll get them when she is done taking our order for the meals. My entree came out 15 minutes ahead of the other two entrees it was the only hot entree. Waited about 10 minutes, had to eat before it got cold. Service all around was ridiculously poor, but the attitude of the waitress making it clear she was going to get our drinks when she decided was where we drew the line. This place will assure you're not rhetorical paying customer and things are on their terms.

I chose the pork shank, which was very yummy; however, it was strangely paired with naan triangles, a cold spicy pickled kimchee and cold pickled carrots and onions. I didn't know if I was supposed to cut the meat off the bone and make little naan sandwiches or eat each item separately. I ate a small amount of the shank and nothing else. The Kitchen's menu pairs most dishes with cold pickled things, so if you don't like pickling, there's not a lot of choice. Nothing that I saw came with a steamed or sautéed vegetable, potatoes or rice. I sampled my husband's polenta and it was tasteless. Most of the menu choices were meat and the scallops were unavailable that night. Overall, the menu seemed pretentious, and the food overpriced for the limited effort it seemingly took to prepare.

The service was great and pir waitress was kind. Although the noodles looked good, I wasn't sure I had a big enough appetite so I thought I would start with the Papaya Salad, amd if still hungry get noodles after. The Papaya Salad was huge! The spice was good, but the papaya was definitely not fresh. Everything in the salad was hard & raw amd slightly pickled. I ended up ordering a side of chicken to get some protein, which was a decent portion, but definitely boiled chicken. The BKK Noodles my husband ordered was a good portion but there were so few pieces of chicken they were gone in the first few bites. In addition the flavor was bland. It had the start of good flavor, but fell flat. In addition to the "fine" food, $30 for the noodles was insane! We have amazing thai at home all the time and it's nowhere near $30 for authentic & delicious noodles. I had heard of happy hour options, but when we looked at the menu, it seemed like that wasn't an option anymore. The food was delicious. I will say, similar to many places downtown, it was expensive. The dumplings were 15$ and came with four. I'd pass on these in the future. I also ordered and shared the BKK street noodles (22$ with no protein) and Mongolian beef (27$). I've seen other reviews that say the street noodles taste poorly, but that wasn't my experience. The noodles were not saucy via the "pad thai sauce", but the flavor was there and seemed somewhat authentic. The Mongolian beef though...was soooo good. That was definitely my favorite of the night, and I mixed it with some of the noodles for a yummy bite. The one negative was the service. Our waiter was not friendly and never came back. Though that was frustrating, I'd come back and try more if we're in the area again.
