I stopped in for dinner at Noodle Kitchen with a friend we both ordered the Yaki Udon. I thought it was really good. The service was actually really good. I'm better than I expected. The servers were attentive and the restaurant was not too busy. The ambience is a very laid-back Zen vibe with warm tones and wood accents throughout. Shocked this has such a low review. The happy hour is phenomenal. Prices during happy hour 50% off pretty much every cocktail so you're getting drink drinks for seven bucks. Tell me where you can go for seven dollars and have really good quality drink drinks. There's also a handful of appetizers that are unhappy hour. Get the firecracker shrimp. We planned to have dinner for Sunday night and no reservations were required. This place had a great ambiance and we were seated right away. The whole staff was very friendly and attended us well! Our server made great recommendations on food and we ordered Elk hunter Huckleberry Both the cocktails were good, huckleberry martini was a little bit on the sweeter side Miso soup for boys - they loved it Fire cracker shrimp for appetizers which is a solid 9/10 For main course we had Dan Dan noodles - solid 10 - requested chilly oil which added the kick And ordered Sushi Hamachi -solid 10 Kaiju - 10/10 Sake Drago -10/10 Being a sushi lover this place was a great surprise! I don't usually write reviews and forgiving of poor service. Don't tolerate getting an attitude when I'm getting poor service. We did not feel like customers rather an inconvenience to this place. Ordered drinks and appetizers, took 35 minutes to get our drinks. Even when we asked a couple of times. We received first of our two appetizers after 25 minutes, served at separate times then waitress brought out only one drink of three, asked for other two drinks got a clear attitude from our waitress telling us she'll get them when she is done taking our order for the meals. My entree came out 15 minutes ahead of the other two entrees it was the only hot entree. Waited about 10 minutes, had to eat before it got cold. Service all around was ridiculously poor, but the attitude of the waitress making it clear she was going to get our drinks when she decided was where we drew the line. This place will assure you're not rhetorical paying customer and things are on their terms. read more

I came here with a group of 6 for a Sunday night dinner, no reservation was needed. Very cozy, minimalist ambiance and not too loud. Service was fairly quick! We had 2 bottles of sake and a few other drinks. We shared the shrimp appetizer, which was lacking flavor, and the edamame, which had a tasty sweet soy sauce. I had the dan dan noodles and added pork belly; it was not traditional dan dan noodles but still very tasty! It was more like a soup. Also split the surf and turf roll, which was basically a shrimp tempura roll but topped with seared bison and it melted in your mouth! I would love to come back here when I visit again. read more

My mom and I ordered the pork ramen and a sushi roll. The pork ramen was very salty and we asked the waitress if there was a way to make it less salty and she took it back for us but it was still salty for my taste. The sushi roll sounded appealing because it had apples in it but the taste and quality just wasn't right. The rice on the roll looked like it was a store bought roll. The huckleberry lemonade and the pork in the ramen itself were the only things that I liked. read more

Amazing noodle and sushi restaurant in Jackson. From the reviews, it is inferred that Noodle Kitchen lacks good service & quality food, but my experience here was the complete opposite. For starters, the quality here was great! The workers were very attentive on ordering our food, asking for any requests, and asking how the food was. The only exception for this great service was the original wait when we were waiting to order food, but it is understandable as they were a little busy. To begin, I had got the edamame starter. The way this was cooked and seasoned was delicious. The sweet soy & garlic really popped and had a great taste. For my entree, I got the Yaki Udon with beef; It was delectable. The beef was perfectly cooked, not undercooked, nor overcooked. Everything was great about this entree. The noodles were absolutely astounding, nothing to complain about, Amazing entree. In my table, we had also gotten the pork ramen. They said it was very delicious. It also came in a big portion size. On the inside of Noodle Kitchen, it is fitted with a large bar, spanning the majority of the restaurant. They have lots of tables and table seating choices, including booths, chairs, and counter-seating. The music was also very nice, great music choices throughout my entire experience. We celebrated my daughter's birthday there since it's her favorite restuarant (great food and also a beautiful, modern interior). She got the White Dragon, her usual, and it was delicious. Pho and Poke bowl were also incredible. My youngest got the chicken teriyaki and I would argue it's the best kid's menu item in Jackson. Was disappointed in the quality of the sashimi. My daughter loves sashimi and wouldn't eat it because it was stringy and texture wise said it was weird. Oh this was a pleasant find on my final day in Jackson. We were pretty exhausted with all the tour activities and needed to retire for a cozy warm dinner on a cold rainy day. This place fit the bill pretty well. The decor inside was very nice. The Ramen was excellent and spicy. I recommend You can ask for the sauce on the side so you can control the spice. Not too expensive for Jackson prices. Easy parking outside the restaurant. They had a 45 min wait for a table when we went around 7pm on a weeknight. We settled for a bar area. This was our first stop after we landed in Jackson Hole for vacation. It's a very welcoming place and the staff helps make it that way. We had the White Dragon: sushi chef's kiss, Pho Bac: very flavorful and their Stir Fry Noodles: sweet umami. To top off our experience, we asked Scott the Bartender to help us. Every Christmas we do a "Shot Advent Calendar" for the 24 days of Christmas. He was beyond excited to create a shot for us. We call it Santa's Chocolate Kiss. What a treat this place was for a stop on our way from Jackson Hole to Yellowstone. We were looking for vegan options and with the help of our friendly server we enjoyed quite a delicious feast. We were there about 5 minutes before the doors opened and there was a line to get in, mostly for the happy hour as best we could tell. We ordered edamame, baby bok Choy, udan noodles, vegan roll, vegan ramen and all were flavorful. Service was excellent and the food came promptly. Group consensus that this was one of the worst veggie ramens we had in life. They have a vegan broth, but it tastes weird like they put tomato sauce in it or something funky. Chef does not understand Asian flavors or umami. Dan Dan noodles were better than the ramen, but still not very good. Make sure to ask for chili oil and just dump the entire thing in there to mask the broth flavor. Not many choices for Asian noodles in Jackson, but I'd rather have eaten instant at home. Their veggie roll was a hot mess. Weird thick slices of lime with rind that was bitter and off-putting and the amount of basil sauce on top of the roll just made it drown. First of all, the old guy at the front door was rude. I walked in with my family, and there was hardly anyone in the restaurant. He was condescending and asked if we had a reservation. I should have known to turn around then. He didn't even acknowledge us when we left. I ordered the spicy tuna roll. It did not taste fresh at all. The potstickers were yummy and I liked the sauce, but they were the only good thing about this restaurant. My kids had the ramen with chicken. It is bland broth and was over priced and not filling. It should have had vegetables too. I had to buy my kids food somewhere else because they said they were hungry on the way home. I ordered the teriyaki chicken plate. The vegetables were okay, but the chicken was black and charred. I picked around it since I barely saw my waitress. The teriyaki sauce was overly sugary. My friend had the ramen and the broth was flavorless. The people who own this restaurant have no idea what good Asian food is. The sprouts were raw and there were no vegetables. The meat was super dry too. Sorry excuse for ramen. You can get better ramen out of the packages in the supermarket. I wanted to tell people coming in to leave! Horrible, overpriced food. The reviews and the fact that it was across the street from our Hotel, made us try the Noodle Kitchen. Their decor and ambience is lovely and very cool and hip! The bathrooms were really cute and clean. The service was really top notch, every server engaged with us and they very friendly and fast. The sushi was good and tasty but the fish was offered in small portions on both crispy rice and the wontons. They made a special off-menu portion of salmon nigiri, which our daughter loved. We also ordered a Wagyu beef noodle dish and a salmon noodle dish. The beef was delicious, but the rice noodles were too aldente and bland. The salmon was fishy and the noodles were also bland. Next time I would try the build your own with the DanDan sauce that everybody on Yelp raved about. I know that much of the food looked great. Worth a try! read more
