Eyebrow threading here is great. But doing eyelash extensions was a big mistake. The lashes were not applied correctly so they were poking and bothering my eyes so much I had to get them removed after several days. The manager refused to give me the refund but offered a free lash perm. I tried that and ended up with lashes curled on one eye but not the other. Both technicians I saw did not do a good job. 4 hours and over $200 wasted. And I'm stuck with weird looking lashes. Never coming back. RE manager's response: Your accusation of me trying to get something for free doesn't follow. I work in Energy so I can afford paying for all the services in full. But I do believe that if your technician did not do a good job, you should give a refund or offer a free service (which you did, that was actually the best part of the entire experience). I decided to get extensions since I was hoping to reduce the time I spend on my make up in the morning. I wanted to get a great job done that's why I was willing to pay $225 for the first set and I even scheduled an appointment 3 weeks in advance to come back for the refill. The reason my lashes were poking me has to do with the fact that they were not curled at the right angle by the technician. Which wouldn't be an issue if Nicole was experienced enough. ( I asked for a professional opinion on that before writing this update). When I looked at the result of my lash perm and asked Jordan why only one eye is curled, she responded that that's fine since it would take a couple days for it to even out. I thought she knew better so I decided to wait several days before assessing. You can notice that my review is several days after my appointment. I don't want to make false accusations. I just want to help other women to make an informed decision. Again, I'm sure if you wait for Theresa, she will do a great job (but she is booked way in advance). First the pros: This place is beautiful to say the least. Decor is amazing. Wonderful ambiance. Relaxing music. Friendly staff. Complimentary drinks and snacks. I was a walk-in for threading and I was greeted by Jennifer who performed the threading. She's a sweet young lady I must add. I was very happy with the results, as I was recommended by a friend who'd highly recommended Jennifer. Now the one and only Con, which happens to be the most important: When I was talking about how impressed I was with the place and my threading experience to other people, I was informed that Jennifer is not licensed to perform any kind of service what so ever, which I thought was odd because who would hire an non-licensed employee to perform beauty services on the unsuspecting public. So I didn't really believe it. But my friend who recommended me said that she was told by someone she recommended that she'd had a bad experience with threading with Jennifer and when she asked her was she licensed she refused to answer the question. Now I love a beautiful beauty place, great service, and friendly staff just like the next girl, but if you aren't licensed to perform a service which requires a license, I can't in good conscious allow you to service me. I spent nearly $100 for a lash lift and my eyelashes are still straight. I do NOT recommend coming here! I was told to come back for a second or third round because it might take more than 1 time to get them to curl. So in other words spend around $200 - $300 to "hopefully" get my eyelashes to be curly? I was going next-door to Glo Sun spa when I came the decision I would finally go into the Sheikh Lash boutique next-door. I was floored I was floored by the service and kindness of their front desk young lady, Sara H. Sara HWas incredibly helpful and even though I asked to many questions for someone who isn't the artist himself to ever answer, she with us while trying to the best of her ability answered everything she could I asked her. No I do not have the kind of money that it takes to be able to have the upkeep of going here regularly but if I did, this place seems very affordable well everything except the micro blading. I have trust issues when it comes to even very trivial things but my look in my style, how I portray myself to the world around me as part of my personality completely and finding someone I will be able to trust with micro blading and installing eyelash extensions will be incredibly relieving. So far so good though and in fact enough of a good experience leading me optimistic that I thought it necessary to come on here and thank Sara H myself letting her know that she definitely makes the company look good for just being as kind and as accommodating as she was today. I had Nicole. I recieved the lash perm and tint. She permed my lashes then proceeded to tint without asking if I'd like to see the perm job before going on to tint (my mother was getting it done at same time and her technician had asked this of her). Afterwards, I still had several lashes that pointed downwards on both of my eyes. Also she gave me an eyelash brush to separate my eyelashes after it was done saying they tend to stick together when completed (my mother did not experience this either). I'll still have to curl mine so the perm I recieved was a waste of money. Plus, the technician I had left smudged tint on in the crease of my eyelids afterwards and it looked like a mess. Both eyes look this way. Don't get Nicole. read more

My last, and first, visit I left a review about liking the experience so far, having just changed eyelash companies, but after 11 days, I noticed a lot of my eyelashes had fallen out. So I had to return in a total of 2 weeks, and this time I just went with whatever available technician they had, this time Jordan. I'll have to check back on how long these last, but so far, I liked them. The threading I had done was not so good. This was the second time for this service and this time I did had a different lady and she was really nice, but when I was able to check her work, she missed a lot! I called before I came on a Friday after work and was able to get in last minute to thread my brows. I don't recall the name of the girl that did it but it looks like she may be the only one there that does it? Anyway, for $15 I was pretty content with her work. Chic Lash Boutique did a fantastic job on my lashes. I get compliments daily on my new lashes! The boutique itself is decorated beautifully. The service is great (very friendly and polite). While you are getting your lashes done, you are laying on a temperpedic bed, offered refreshments, and light, relaxing music is playing. Overall, it was a great experience and I love love love my lashes. The best part is that I no longer have to wear eye makeup, which saves a tremendous amount of time yet my lashes look more noticeable than ever. read more

I never leave reviews and honestly, had to create a Yelp profile to write this one, but I'm just so disappointed with this place I had to let other consumers know about it. We'll start with the positives: people are nice, place is nice and it's easy to get an appointment. However, the product used is crap. And expensive! I've been wearing lashes for six months and get regular refills every 2-3 weeks because I like them to stay full. Came here to get a refill because my regular girl at another place had a baby last week a couple days before my appointment. At $85, I expected the lashes to last until my next refill (which usually costs me $30!). They haven't. One-third of the lashes fell out within three days. No natural lash attached. This means the glue just came undo. I'm now six days out and need another refill. I'm incredibly disappointed. Save yourself the trouble and try a different salon. read more

So far, I've been to Chic Lash Boutique twice, and I have been 100% satisfied every time. The first time I made a reservation online. The second time I just walked in, but I only had to wait around 15 minutes. The service here is so friendly. Seriously, the ladies who have done my eyebrows are so considerate and nice. Each time I've had great conversations which really helps distract me from the pain (although it's not that painful and gets better the more you go). I think the prices are a little more than you would pay in Hillcroft, but it is definitely worth it. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for amazing eyebrow service. I had mine done for $5 before and had about the same experience and quality. $20 for eyebrows is tad pricy but it was clean, my eyebrows looked great, it was near by, and it only took a few minutes to have them done so I can't complain much. I found Chic Lash on Yelp after being treated horribly at Amazing Lash (I will refer to as A.L). This place was absolutely wonderful. After I was butchered at A.L I called Chic Lash and the receptionist was educated (unlike A.L) and very sweet and helpful. She listened to my rant and got me in as soon as possible and promised me I would get a consult, etc. to guarantee that my services would be what I needed. The earliest I could get in was a week from when I called but over the weekend my lashes from A.L kept falling out and I looked like my lashes suffered a severe burn. I call early Tuesday morning when they open and she was able to squeeze me in early afternoon which totally saved my weeks plans! This place was immaculate and done right. This is not some walk in clinic with plastic chairs like A.L. Chic lash was a spa. I was offered a complimentary drink (if it wasn't 11 A.M I would have gone for the vino or mimosas). The entire place was quiet and nice people working there. Decorated super cute and the location was great. It is very spacious and girly, just a great vibe all around. This place just feels much more high class and has technicians who truly know what they are doing and will speak to you. I saw Katie who was awesome. The room she did my lashes in was perfectly clean. They even had little clean blankets to lay on you during the appointment if you wanted. She did a great job and I will for sure continue to see her. The online booking is extremely ideal, as A.L never picks up their phones and when they do you constantly are hearing another phone ringing and you feel rushed. I could go on forever about how great of an experience this was for me. The prices are extremely affordable and the different options for refills is GREAT!
