The holes themselves are visually appealing and everything is in good condition. Pace is an issue, but only on a relative basis, as I finished in 2:10 despite 3 lengthy delays from holes 5-9. There were 2-3 groups waiting, so it's probably possible to finish in 1:30 or less. Bathrooms in the clubhouse and between holes 4-5 are very clean and have requisite items like soap, hand dryers, etc. The beverage cart came around once, which is fine for 9 holes, as you also end up near the clubhouse regularly. Nearly every hole had a ball washer and they were all topped up and had towels. I didn't try the restaurant but it looks like an excellent place to watch a game and likely has the standard pub fare. Overall, it's a good spot to walk a quick 9 that's not too far from downtown and is a high quality option vs other city run courses.

Last night my family and I spent nearly three hours recalling all our impactful, amazing memories we have had because of EGC. Gingerbread house making, haunted houses, swim team, mother's day brunch....It's a pretty spectacular place. I've grown up here, no doubt about it. The people who belong there are kind and have truly curated a community like no other. I'm so grateful this place was apart of my growing up.

On top of that, the course was cart path only, even though conditions didn't appear wet enough to justify that restriction. A 90-degree rule could have been a more reasonable option. As a result, several players were unable to finish due to the physical strain of walking, especially for those with health issues. Most notably, a man who works as a starter and is still recovering from an illness had to quit mid-round and was understandably frustrated. Do you have any suggestions on how we can better coordinate with Glenview Park staff moving forward? The first thing that stood out was the service. The entire staff was friendly and helpful when we were checking in. We showed up a little early and the gentleman at the front made some calls and we were able to get into the room. Started off on the right foot. The room was cool. Clean. Well maintained but nothing extra. The photos are accurate. The restaurant/bar has a great breakfast menu. We got a breakfast burrito and it was delicious with hot and crispy potatoes. During the time when there was nobody in front of us or behind us we were approached 3 more times by the marshal telling us that "people were calling the clubhouse and we needed to speed up." We then couldn't even tee off of another hole because one of the residents decided to have a prom party on the tee box and had hundreds of high schoolers take pictures on the tee box. Until the service gets better I cannot recommend this course. You would be better off playing at just about any other north side course or even a true muni. At greens prices over $200, it just doesn't make sense to have service like this.

The simulator is more high tech than I've seen. It automatically detects your terrain and changes the ground to fit it (fairway, rough, and bunker). I've never seen something like this before and it definitely enhances the experience. Another cool thing is during practice it shows you how you swung, by not only showing a model of your swing but a video recording playback. 10/10 recommend

The employees are super kind and helpful. There are food and drink options to enjoy as you play. You get to rent by the hour and if you don't have your own clubs, you get to rent them as well. There are options to play games or simulate a real golf course. They also play music throughout which adds to the fun vibe. I really enjoyed the afternoon here and highly recommend coming by with a group of friends or family for some chill golf.

Brian, the park ranger, was really nice and understandable when our group got delayed a bit. The golf carts are equipped with GPS, which is awesome for those without a range finder. The club also has a driving range and putting area for those who just who want to practice or want to warm up before playing a round. They do have a clubhouse that serves drinks and food at the turn and before/after a round. It is on the pricier side, but it is a really nice course to visit. Hope to come back soon!
