The Glen Club lived up to all expectations…read more I came to this club for a wedding so we really got to experience all of what the Glen Club had to offer. From the food to the room to the groom. The first thing that stood out was the service. The entire staff was friendly and helpful when we were checking in. We showed up a little early and the gentleman at the front made some calls and we were able to get into the room. Started off on the right foot. The room was cool. Clean. Well maintained but nothing extra. The photos are accurate. The restaurant/bar has a great breakfast menu. We got a breakfast burrito and it was delicious with hot and crispy potatoes. The best part about the Glen Club is the golfing option. We didnt get onto the course but my party got onto the range and hit some balls. The view of the golf course while you are in the back of the club is amazing. Especially during sunset. Overall: Great club

At that point we decided to play best-ball scramble style. And realized that there were solo players behind us in carts. We let them play through and didn't see a single person until the final hole. During the time when there was nobody in front of us or behind us we were approached 3 more times by the marshal telling us that "people were calling the clubhouse and we needed to speed up." We then couldn't even tee off of another hole because one of the residents decided to have a prom party on the tee box and had hundreds of high schoolers take pictures on the tee box. Until the service gets better I cannot recommend this course. You would be better off playing at just about any other north side course or even a true muni. At greens prices over $200, it just doesn't make sense to have service like this.

The puttery was such a great experience! The food here is actually good, or at least better than…read moretypical bar food. The two courses are really fun and the rooms are very themed. One is a library kinda like Harry Potter. The other is snow/ski lodge themed. The reservation option for unlimited play and food tickets was a pretty good deal at around $40. With a group of 3 people each course ended up taking about 30 minutes. Some of the courses were kinda hard and we ended up just skipping after 6 tries since that's the max score. There were times when the screen glitched out or when the previous people at the course left their scorecard and it needed to be cleared. It wasn't that big of deal but one of us did have to get an employee from the dining area when this happened (at the ski lodge course). The software is pretty cool, you use the tablet at each station and once you finish inputting your score, your group's scorecard will automatically pop up at the next location. Perfect fun especially when you go at a time that's not too busy. We went on Mother's Day evening so maybe that's not a popular activity for mother's. Overall I'd recommend puttery to anybody that enjoys mini golf or wants a fun date idea.

The food was also great; we had the wings and they were very delicious. Shoutout to Manny, who provided excellent service and was attentive to our table. We did have a small issue with table availability and staff communication, which was frustrating enough that I considered calling a manager. Because of this, I'm giving 3 stars. Otherwise, the drinks, food, and ambiance were excellent.

Played the 18 holes and it was a beautiful course that looks well maintained and in great shape. I can understand why it's a top 50 public course. Pin locations were challenging, but reasonable. Brian, the park ranger, was really nice and understandable when our group got delayed a bit. The golf carts are equipped with GPS, which is awesome for those without a range finder. The club also has a driving range and putting area for those who just who want to practice or want to warm up before playing a round. They do have a clubhouse that serves drinks and food at the turn and before/after a round. It is on the pricier side, but it is a really nice course to visit. Hope to come back soon!

They either welcome you, or you're lectured by an unqualified 25 year old kid who thinks he is hot sh!t working in the pro shop telling you how a chip reader works. -Par 3 is in terrible condition. It's more expensive than others, so you're paying the North Shore tax for weeds, divot marks, sticks, leaves, and trash greens. "I can work on my iron game" no you can work on locating a ball in a dandelion field. -Driving range is ok. Not a ton of mats, and they always reserve 1/2 of it for camps and instruction. -Regular course wasn't terrible, other than the prices.
