Regret going today! Have friends in town this weekend from the North we've not seen in many years. This is their first trip, this deep in the South. Well no one is interested in cooking this weekend and they want to enjoy the local fare. It has been some time since Steve the original franchise owner sold, he was a great guy and ran the store like perfection. I simply lost interest in going after he departed, the quality of the menu were never the same and it is pricey, as it is... So we are letting our guest choose were we eat this weekend, this was a mistake! Too few people behind the counter, backed up lines, backed up kitchen. The breakfast was so-so at best and I'm sure the my biscuit was day old. I'm not esp picky about my coffee, but they must have a retired Navy Chief making this stuff, it could wake-up a drunk. This place rocks! They are always busy but the lines go fast because the staff goes above and beyond to serve! They're alway friendly and mention if the receipt has a survey on it so you can get a free classic chick-fil-a sandwich! During their rush hour they always have two lanes open and they accept cards on the spot instead of pulling up to the drive through. When picking up the food they will always wish you a good day and refer to you by your name. Highly recommend! read more

I've never had a bad Chicken nuggets at a Chick-Fil-A. The nuggets here are a little different than other places, they are 100% chicken breast. Not like other McPlaces that are 56% corn (just do a search to verify that one). These tender bite sized pieces of chicken are lightly breaded, seasoned and pressure cooked in peanut oil. No nasty oil slicks left behind. They do offer some sauce but for me that just distracts from the seasoned goodness. I also got the Breast Chicken Soup one can get at a fast food place. Chunks of chicken breast, chopped celery, carrots, and noodles in a savory broth (not salty (a fake way places try to get away with not using the right amount of herbs). I let everyone sample this including my grandson who didn't want to stop eating it. Good thing I got a large. I also pick up an unsweetened tea. When in the South one must get tea. I don't care if it's the unsweetened or sweetened. It's the official drink of the South and this place knows how to do it. None of that bitter over brewed tea here. Clearly they understand that ice is gonna' be added to this iced tea and it's brewed perfectly for it. The other thing high on my list is cleanliness and this place was. So if you haven't tried C-F-A yet or maybe you have, you know you can go to this clean restaurant & get it just the way C-F-A Headquarters would want it. read more

Who doesn't love Chick-fil-A? They rock the fried chicken sandwich and the chicken mini biscuits are pretty tasty too. This particular restaurant is always super fast and very friendly. I don't know how they do it but their drive through is lightning fast. If I were to own a fast food franchise, this is the one that I would pick. Hands down, this Little chickadee gets the fast food fried chicken breast blue ribbon. And the cows who can't spell and advocate chicken instead of beef are genius. Their catering can sometimes run slow but it's always fresh and that's not easy with big batches and small kitchens. I stopped by one day to get food for my work, it was a big order but the drive through lady was very nice about it and read back the entire order. When I got back to work and started sorting out the food I noticed they were 3 spicy sandwiches short. Looking at the receipt I made sure everything else was there. I called the store to let them know I was on my way back to pick up the sandwich's they had forgotten. They said ok sorry about that. When I got to the store with my receipt in hand the lady was acting like I was lying. She asked me "did you look to the bottom of the bag"?? Same good quality food, play ground was dirty. I asked the manager why it's not standard work for the team member cleaning the dinning area to check on the play ground. She said it was. I mentioned to her that Leader's standard work may need to be updated - the level of mess looked like it had accumulated over multiple hours. I love chick-fil-a. But this particular location has been a let down every time I've visited there. I've lived in the area for two years now and not once have I been able to take my family in there without having to swat flies away from us at the table. The fountain drinks are almost always low on syrup so your drink tastes like soda water and there is an overall dirtiness that I haven't seen before in any other chick-fil-a location. I've been taking my family to the next town over to go to that one the past few times and it's been a much better experience. read more

Every time I go in I usually order breakfast items. Hash browns, chicken biscuits, and an orange juice. When I come in I'm greeted with a "good morning" and a smile. The environment is clean. The bathrooms are clean. It usually takes less than 5 minutes to get my food. Employees are very hospitable. Great business! read more

Unfortunately, the mobile app is not working when it comes to this location. It is always about a 10 min. wait which makes me question the whole point of the app. I come in and stand at the sign (as instructed on the app), and I'm never even greeted...just kind of ignored. All of my other visits have been through the drive thru, which is even worse. There's no rhyme or reason behind it because I've tried it at 3pm on a random weekday and it's still a ridiculous wait. To top that off, the people that work the drive thru window are unfriendly each time. For one the drive-thru is out of this world long but usually I just sit and wait and understand being busy as I've worked in food multiple times. When we finally got to order I asked for Chick-fil-A sauce on the side and then reminded the drive-thru guy once we were face to face. We didn't get any. The tea I ordered was DISGUSTING. It tasted metallic. I couldn't even take a second sip. My husband got a vanilla iced coffee. That was super gross too. And we've had these items and enjoyed them at other Chick-fil-As. Paid over $7.00 for their southwest salad - and I Expect FRESH new lettuce in my salad for that price. What I found today was completely un-edible. It was beyond disgusting, brown wilted lettuce, cabbage was brown, tomatoes were old/mushy, the chicken tasted sour - I could not eat it, it was not edible. I am disgusted that there is no one supervising this place and letting something like this be sold. When I called to complain upon arriving home (and finding this 'salad' which honestly looked like it was picked out of the garbage bin out back), I spoke to the manager Darla who was not at all friendly on the phone, and I felt like I was being interrogated when I told her about this salad/my experience. She said I should come back right away to replace it, I told her I wasn't driving all the way back there again at that moment, she said I 'needed to return within 48 hours to get the replacement.' I did go back within the 48 hour window (with the salad/receipt) and she came to the drive through window - she never apologized for this and blamed it on the night crew making the salad. I had ordered at the drive through one of their other salads (there are only 3 options) as I did not want to experience anything like the last one, and she argued for over 5 minutes at the window saying 'you have to get the southwest one, you cannot get the market salad' I explained that they were the same price - and I never wanted to order that southwest salad again after this experience. She persisted in being ultra-rude to me, making a big scene, telling the girl at the window to take out of the bag the market salad and to replace it with the southwest! I said that is not what I wanted. She was pathetic! Omg what kind of manager argues with the customer like this over what salad - she should be bending over backwards to make the customer happy especially after serving them rotten food! I couldn't believe the ordeal. Needless to say I WILL NEVER go to this establishment again, and they Clearly need to hire new management, as this woman has no clue how to treat a customer. read more

I'm stationed here in the area. I've been here over 20 times. Out of that the place was clean 1 maybe 2 times. Its normally dirty. My wife went to breakfast one morning and the cockroaches where there in the morning and the floors were all sticky (hence why the cockroaches were on the floor vice in line to get Chicken Minis). If your passing thru the Beaufort area I would suggest you eat somewhere else so you dont think this is what our town is like. This is not your normal Chick-Fil-A. Not sure if the owner ever goes in there, cuz if he does I'd hate to see how dirty his house is. Also before you leave the drive thru check your order, very good chance they got it wrong. I love Chick Fil A, I just dont like this one. I feel the owner knows unsuspecting families visting for Marine Corps Graduations will eat here and they are only here that one time. Plus they dont offer a military discount like most of the chains do. There typcial excuse is everyones military. Went through drive thru, ordered 6 drinks (provided no drink carrier), fries are overdone & taste like cardboard, 4 meals & requested sauce (failed to provide sauce), failed to provide sufficient amount of straws & no napkins whatsoever. Employee, Anna, brought out our food and announced, we are out of oatmeal so I will refund you for the oatmeal. We asked if we could just get a small fruit cup instead. Anna informed us that No, because fruit costs extra. So, we let her know we can pay the extra cost. She runs to make the necessary adjustments to the register, collects our nickel, and then brings us a fruit cup, sets it down and walks away, clearly not thrilled. Sorry for the inconvenience Anna! I've lived in Beaufort for years and love Chick-fil-A. We eat here several times a month and always have a great experience. The employees are polite and seem very genuine when serving you. The food is great and the drive-thru is by far the fastest in town. Contrary to two other reviews I think this restaurant is extremely clean. Whenever we eat there someone is always wiping down tables or offering to get us a refill or take our trash for us. This place has great service and the best milkshakes around. read more

Went through the drive thru and happened to answer a call on my cell phone from a doctor after just having surgery a couple of days prior. When I pulled up to the window and handed Hannah my debit card she turned to the girl beside her and made a choking signal with her hand as if she wanted to choke me. I presumed she did this because I was on my phone and she thought I was not paying attention. She was rude and continued her conversation with the girl beside her. I asked her if there were a problem and she sarcastically said no. I asked for some pickles and Hannah told me that I would have to pull forward to wait for some pickles! She was intentionally trying to be a condescending, smarty pants at this point. I told her I would be happy pull forward but, she should know that I would be placing a call to franchise owner Seth Scarpa after I do so. She told me nevermind, here they are, and handed me a container with pickles in it. After she handed me the pickles I let her know that I saw what she did and I did not appreciate it. She told me, "there were no bad vibes between us." I told her, yes, honey making a hand gesture that you want to choke a customer is definitely a bad vibe. After I drove away, I called the store and asked to leave a message for Seth. Darla, insisted I talk to her as she was the manager on duty. When I explained what happened in the drive thru she attempted to give me a long explanation of how I was wrong for talking on my cell phone, how they needed to confirm orders at the drive thru window, that they've had a lot of orders to go out wrong, and it is the customers fault when they can't confirm orders at the window because they are on their phone. Keep in mind I placed my order at the speaker and confirmed it when it was repeated back to me at the speaker. I'm not sure why they need to confirm orders so many times. I asked Darla why. She told me this is the way we do business at the drive thru. She refused to acknowledge that Hannah did anything inappropriate and insisted on excusing away her behavior. I asked Darla to have Seth return a call to me. Seth never called. Either he did not get the message, as I suspect, or he simply does not care either. No matter how upset an associate becomes it is never appropriate or excusable to make a hand gesture as if you want to choke a customer!
