I personally waited 20-25 minutes in a line to place an order physically at the store (they also take online orders). No biggie. Finally received my food and left without checking as it was very busy. Got home, opened the bag and realized I was missing my fries. Quite disappointing but whatever. Rest of the food (sandwich and mac and cheese) was cold but good. Fine I'll take that. Now here's why the 1 star. Halfway through the mac and cheese, found a strand of hair in it. The chick-fil-a in Copley is in a great location is always has a consistent line of people waiting. I got the deluxe chicken sandwich which has decent chicken, bun, lettuce and pepper jack cheese. I also got waffle fries, and nuggets, and iced tea. My order came out to close to $15 which is pricey for fast food. The food was a bit greasy and not particularly delicious. With fries, sandwich, and nuggets they only gave me two sauce packets which was not enough, ideally it should have been at least 3 (one for each item). This review is for the Chick-fil-A in Copley Square, and specifically for the Cobb Salad with avocado-lime-ranch-dressing! I really liked this salad - I ordered it after hearing the ads on a local radio station, and the salad was very good - flavorful fried bite-sized chicken pieces with lettuce greens, roasted corn, shredded cheese, crispy red pepper pieces, and tasty dressing. Typically the app has an "I'm here" feature that ensures speedy pick up. Here you scan a QR code and then.....wait. The place is slammed just like all other chick-fil-a restaurants but this one is too crammed. Surprised it was built/opened during the pandemic without a pickup window like some shake shacks have installed. Adding to the joy is the flurry of food delivery service drivers aggressively pushing past you as if they somehow have priority over others making a frustrating wait more annoying. PLEASE IMPROVE THE PICKUP PROCESS at minimum with signage. For customers -- You may be ready to just get out of there but CHECK YOUR ORDER before you leave. I finally today got around to going to the new location in downtown and I am nothing but disappointed and angry. Everything good about CFA is gone at this location. Communication, individualized interactions, fast service, quality of food, and the over all atmosphere. None of the hallmark quirks were there, the pleasant nature of service and the goofy "how may I serve you" type phrases. My tenders were burnt, fries soggy and grossly stuffed into the bottom of the container, less sauce than ordered and worst of all my Mac n cheese container was less than half full. This was awful. I will never return and i will instead take the 40+ min drive to the suburban locations outside of the city. Shame on CFA for compromising their quality. read more
