When this Chick-Fil-A first opened I drove up from Wallingford, CT in the pouring rain with a friend and when we got there 2 gentleman with umbrellas walked us inside.....the single best act of customer service I have ever experienced. Since that day many years ago I moved to Buffalo and haven't really been back since, until Monday! I was passing through on my way back home and decided to take a brief detour to get some of this delicious Chick-Fil-A! The place was packed but the line went super fast. I ended up ordering way more food then I should have, but I ordered the large waffle fries, spicy chicken deluxe, and got a vanilla milkshake on the side. Like every other Chick-Fil-A experience I have had, all the food was hot, fresh, and super delicious. If you are in the Chicopee area, you need to come here for some lunch pronto! read more

Easy to get to from the expressway, about 5 minutes or less and located by several other food options. There is no Chick-fil-A easily accessible in my area so I was happy to get my chicken sandwich fix filled while driving home from Boston. The sandwiches were served to my table hot but a little greasy and the roll crumbled under my fingers as I tried to eat it. I think the bread might be frozen and then thawed? Ok y'all. This was my third time coming here and it has yet to disappoint me. I went for a trunk or treat event (which was awesome) and decided to stop in for a bite. The staff at the counter were extremely polite and were patient with my order as it took forever for me to decide what I wanted. I took a seat and the server was prompt. Luckily, this fast-food chain has arrived in the area. To be honest, it's not worth a 45 minute drive for your first Chik-Fil-A, but it's worth the trip if you're an addict that only gets CFA when on vacation. This location was new, clean, well staffed and the food did not disappoint. The most difficult part is getting into the lot. Then entrance is rather convoluted between a Friendly's and an Aldi. The play place is clean and fantastically new. My daughter spent about a half hour in tubes suspended a few feet from the ceiling. The CFA car was still white and the area was clean. There is a toddler activity board that is entertaining. The patio has ample seating and was clean. However, it really isn't enclosed, it's open right to the drive through around a corner, so watch yourlittle ones when they run off. The staff was very friendly and the owner/operators were both in the store when we were there. This shows me there commitment to the success of this location. read more

I HATE YOUR POLITICS. There, that's out of the way :-) For several years now, on principal and specifically in solidarity with my gay brothers and sisters, I have refused to patronize Chick-fil-A despite the teenage love affair we cultivated back when I worked in a mall where Chick-fil-A anchored our food court. But ever since the Chicopee location opened, I've been hearing about how great they are for kids and how much better their food is than other fast-food options. I held out for a really long time, and then one tired day it happened. With a cranky hungry toddler in tow, we needed food and happiness to come together crazy fast, and Chick-fil-A delivered. I'm here to report that this place is indeed GREAT for kids! The staff is syrupy sweet, there is a play room, the food is fresh and wholesome. What's more, there is table service and -- ready? -- the servers come around with a big pepper mill to offer freshly ground pepper for salads. I can barely type that with a straight face :-) Toto, we are definitely not at McD's. Have the kind of kids who aren't inclined to wait patiently in line when there's a playscape in sight? No problemo. Chick-fil-A has a Pay & Park deal where you can order and pay in the drive-thru, then head into the restaurant and they'll have your table ready and waiting. Chick-fil-A is definitely family-friendly and we'll be back, but I'd feel better about it if I knew that they were ALL-family-friendly. read more

Standard Chick-fil-A fare, just like all the rest. Very, very crowded and long waits on a Friday at about noon. My only real problem with this location is the parking and how you get into the place. They need to pay someone to do a way, way better job of snow removal! The snow banks are soooooo high; it's very difficult to navigate and snow is taking up parking spaces. Parking was extremely limited. I had to wait like 5 minutes till someone exited to steal her spot. Another gripe...who designed getting into this place? It's like a corn maze. Seriously? Morons. It's been a few years since I've been to Chick-fil-A because for some reason they won't put one in the Albany area, but my return was better than expected. It's honestly a disservice to call Chick-fil-A fast food because it's so much better than that. First, I don't know how they do it, but the employees are so friendly and nice. Anyways since I didn't know the next chance I would get Chick-fil-A, I decided to get as much as possible. I ordered an original chicken sandwich, fries, Mac and cheese, nuggets, and a chocolate shake. To begin, there has been a debate going on between who has the better chicken sandwich, Popeyes or Chick-fil-A. Anyone who thinks Popeyes is better, simply is wrong and should never give their opinion on food again. The chicken sandwich at Chick-fil-A was absolutely delicious. The chicken was crispy, juicy, and so fresh. The bun tasted like it just came fresh from the bakery. The pickles were thin and clearly fresh. In addition, the Chick-fil-A sauce brings it all together and takes your taste buds on a trip you won't forget. The sauce is sweet and the flavor is out of the world. I could guzzle it down by the gallons. Furthermore, the nuggets are fantastic, they are crispy and juicy as well. To add more, the waffle fries are crunchy and dipping them in the Chick-fil-A sauce makes them even better. Also, the new Mac and cheese is delicious. It is creamy, cheesy, and unlike most fast food Mac and cheese, the noodles are fresh and not hard. I finished my meal off with a chocolate shake which was great. My family is never disappointed when we make our annual pit stop here. As I'm becoming the (sole) vegetarian of our family, I ordered egg and cheese on a biscuit, which was pretty standard, but the cheese was melted nicely. Mom had the chik'n nuggets and I was told they were delicious. Dad had the chik'n minis and he described them as cooked well, crispy, and delicious as usual. I liked that there's an option to get a milkshake or soda in the AM, so I added another star for that and also because Hillary who waited on us (and I'm pretty sure she was the assistant manager?) was quite pleasant. Damn good crispy chicken sandwich meals. We were travelling home to the Berkshires in Western Mass and stopped off to get a bite to eat. We decided to go to this brand new place, last time we came here it wasn't built. The chicken sandwich was so deluxe and good, piping hot and fresh solid piece of chicken coated, lettuce and tomato was crisp and fresh, the pickles were crispy too. The roll was soft and fresh and the whole sandwich was put together very well. The waffle fries were crispy, hot, and delicious!! We got mayo and honey mustard for sauces. The drinks had just enough ice and were very effervescent and good (sometimes soda at these places isnt mixed n and is flat) All n all we went to the right choice for lunch. Yummo!!!! read more

This was my first Chick-fail-A experience. It has been so extremely hyped up by everybody in my internet friend circle from Facebook, so my bar was set pretty low going into it. Was it your pleasure to serve me? Or is there a gun to your head as we speak. I have seen the light leave a mans eyes, and it was the smiling teenager handing me a chicken sandwich through the drive through window. The Mac and cheese tasted like childhood. Damn fine. The waffle fries were slightly less bland than a 2014 Subaru Forester. And now the sandwich. The leader of the hype train that has been driving all my friends to go out of their way to board for years now- It was decent. The first 2.5 bites were delicious. Better than any other fast food sandwich. Then the food settled- and I left with that feeling of grease and regret that only comes with impulsively getting fast food for dinner. Was it worth it? No. Would I go again? Probably not, but i didn't expect to go this time. That is the nature of fast food restaurants from McDonald's to Friendly's. You never want to go. But you do. Not a fan of your corporate politics - but that's my right to feel that way. However, I will say that every Chick-fil-a employee I've dealt with in chicopee location is amazing. They got great can do attitudes that really help make this place that I like to return to for good food.I've seen them get slammed with busses or sports teams and the workers are always able to handle the line efficiently. Employee uniforms are always clean. This is a huge and denotes a sense of pride. Even going through the drive through is a pleasurable experience. I am not a fan of pickles so I usually order a chicken sandwich with out the pickle. 95% of the time they get this right. As for the value of the meal, I think it is on par if not better than other fast food. The restaurant itself is kept in good condition as floors and tables are continually cleaned through out the day. And the Oreo cookie milkshakes are amazing. I would only change the following. More signage so that individuals who are coming off the highway know how to enter and exit the parking lot. (it's a bit maze like sitting next to other businesses) Second, I would change the location of the bathrooms; Or at least the women's room. The entrance to the women's room is in direct line site of people who are eating. Basically you can see straight through into someone sitting in a stall. I only mention this because it felt a bit creepy sitting facing the restrooms and seeing into the women's restroom. I think this could be remedied by adding a set of saloon type doors where the entrance to the bathroom is. read more

Pretty much the only fast food I eat, is at this location. On the way from Albany to Boston this is a nice stop. The restaurant is always clean. The staff are pleasant, helpful, and really there are no other fast food options that are even in this class. The chicken tastes great. There is pretty much nothing on the menu that is poorly done. I like the traditional rather than the grilled, but that is a preference. Kudos to the chain for adding superfood salads with kale, it is fresh and goes well with the nuggets. read more
