This is the second time that I've come here and they won't even come up to your car spot curbside if you aren't in the vehicle listed on your app. There's a million reasons why someone might not be in the default vehicle on the app and if they are that concerned about food thieves then ask for the order name when you are at the spot number listed on the app. Each time I'm sitting there waiting and have to go into the store to ask for my order. Review during Covid-19---- The lines seem EXTRA long during this pandemic. It seems like you won't get your food for a long time but the wait was actually pretty short. They have this weird set up where there's numerous employees working at different stations outside and only some inside. At first you don't know what's going on, but I'm sure this set up is to also protect the employees, so kudos to management. I only ordered two things and before pulling up to the first window, I already got my order!!! With this pandemic, I think efficiency has gotten to a whole new level. Workers are practicing proper safety precautions and even have carts to deliver drinks to people in the drive-thru to minimize contact. I ordered one cookies and cream milkshake and one chocolate chip cookie. BEST COOKIE FROM ANY FAST FOOD JOINT. Their cookies are big, have a brown sugar kind of taste, and plenty of chocolate chip chunks!!! You wouldn't even think that a fast food place made cookies like this. 10/10! I also ordered the cookies and cream milkshake, which has always been pretty consistent from various locations but the day I went they put a lot of vanilla shake and not enough (in my opinion) Oreo cookies. 04/04/2025 @ 8:30PM -- Extremely disappointed. As I was walking into the restaurant, I saw a few of the cooks outside smoking cigarettes. Not even a minute later, those same cooks walked straight into the kitchen and appeared at the fries station like nothing happened. I work in the hospitality/restaurant industry myself--don't try to tell me they had enough time to properly wash their hands. Chick-fil-A continues to disappoint at this location! First, they took my order wrong, I was missing an item, then they gave the wrong item--they were missing my salad. Glad I checked my order before I leaving. Yes, they ended up giving me the free item, that was given to me incorrectly; but that's not the point. This location used to be ok and really care about their customer service. If the line was too long in the drive thru they'd add an extra sandwich or comp your food. Since COVID, this is probably one of the worst locations in San Diego. Extremely busy with a bad flow of traffic, and all the locations get busy and don't have these issues, but here, it's like playing bumper cars. It's almost pointless to put in your order ahead of time because you're still going to have to wait and have nowhere to park. Placed a mobile order at 5:34pm and didn't get the food brought out to my car until 5:59pm, even after ordering ahead of time. Not just long wait times but you're lucky if they get your order right or provide you with straws, napkins or utensils. I'd recommend going to any of the other locations down south, because even if you drive out of the area to get your food, you'll probably still get it faster than you would waiting at this one right down the road from your house if you live in the area. They're probably better off just making it drive thru or walk in only, and stopping all the other options (food delivery, mobile ordering) since they used to have a better handle with the volume of people ordering from this place. After having this happen quite a few times, I won't be coming back to this location. read more

This is my favorite Chick-Fil-A location! During prime hours, the drive thru line can make the place seem like its crowded, but if you go inside you should be able to get your order quickly. I've never waited more than 15 minutes for my order to come out and there is always an employee available to help me. The service here is quick and I haven't ever had any issues with my order being incorrect. Placed a mobile order thinking it will be faster getting the food. I waited and watched everyone that went through the drive thru get their order. I had to go inside to ask what happened to my order and I was told there was a delay on the chicken strips. No one communicated that there would be a delay. Manager came out to apologized and offered me gift cards but all I wanted was my order. She handed me my bag and when I got home I was missing one of the food order for my kids. The food is fresh and they give you a decent amount of chicken if you order a salad. If you ever order with them through Doordash, except them to forget your sauce or dressing for your salad. It's tough because they don't allow for substations and when you call the number, you can't get through to a live person. There are so many memes (internet jargon/culture that you should look up if you don't know the term because I would not do it justice) about where Chick-fil-A employees come from or where they're "produced" or "trained" because their customer service is just THAT amazing. I know their customer service is great and I've always had positive experiences, but it wasn't until recent where this meme held to the highest degree of truth. My boyfriend and I went to Chick-fil-A last night and the cashier was such a genuine young gentleman. I'm so sad I didn't read his name tag because we were all having such great conversation. It took us a while to pay because we just kept talking. Towards the end of the conversation, he told us about the app, and I wish he had told us sooner, but that was great to know because I downloaded it while we were eating. Before I left, my sister told me how she wanted food, so I hopped back in line and the same cashier hopped onto the register and all of us continued to have great conversation. I even told him how I downloaded the app and he seemed to be super excited about it because he was the one that convinced me to get it. Not to mention, their rewards system is great. So definitely get the app. My boyfriend and I felt like we barely were waiting 5 minutes, then a worker calls out my name and hands me my order, along with a free chicken sandwich voucher for "the long wait." It was not even that long of a wait! Once we left the establishment, another employee walked up to us and asked if he could "offer us a ride," which made us laugh...
