I'm a big fan of Chick-fil-A, and not only because Dan Cathy and I are both Christians. They have top-notch chicken sandwiches at low prices with legendary customer service. And baby, it doesn't get any better than this. A foursome, one who's age 8, stopped here on a summer Friday afternoon on the way to Clearwater Beach. You know what that means: a big crowd. The drive-through lane snaked all the way around the building, and the line inside stretched from the cashier to the back of the building. Here's what happened: Chick-fil-A people were taking orders from the drivers while they were waiting in line, then passing them inside. I don't know how soon they got their meal. But my sister-in-law and I got in line, and five minutes later, we had placed our orders at the cashiers. Meanwhile, several staff were walking around with food, dropping them off to the hungry patrons. All staff, inside and outside, were smiling, and you could not tell if they were stressed. The food was at its usual high standards. As always, I had a spicy chicken deluxe, and the other three had chicken sandwiches and chicken nuggets (the 8 year old). We expected fantastic food, and we got it again. Please note that "spicy" does mean spicy, especially if you add pepperjack cheese. Believe the hype. Chick-fil-A is that good. read more

I've never had chik-fil-a in my life, but have always heard a lot of hype about it. Naturally, when this happens -- I usually am disappointed. Not being a fast food eater, I was already a little skeptical... but my boyfriend and his family kept raving and raving. First meal in Florida for vacation, they insisted we stop here. FOR HER: I had the DELUXE CHICKEN SANDWICH w/ WAFFLE FRIES. FOR HIM: SPICY CHICKEN SANDWICH & order of CHICKEN NUGGETS. To cut to the chase, I really enjoyed it! No complaints at all! I love that the food wasn't super greasy, that the fries weren't excessively salty, and that the restaurant itself was really clean. Also loved that there were people walking around taking our trash and refilling our drinks for us! A whole new vibe to fast food. Oh, and can we just take a second to talk about the sauce? Obsessed with the chik-fil-a sauce and the Polynesian sauce. So good! We ended up stopping by here a few more times during our 6 day stay in Tampa! Definitely an official fan! Chick-Fil-A is amazing.Growing up in South Florida, Chick-Fil-A always had a stigma as a food court place at the malls. That alone dissuaded me from giving it a shot. Seeing free standing stores here (and my girlfriend giving the thumbs up), gave me reason enough to check it out. Boy have I been missing out! Anyhoo, this location has an oober friendly staff. I'll state up front, I don't agree with Chick-fil-a's poitics. That being said, I love their waffle fries. It's been well over three years since I've eaten at one, and with no lunch, I pulled in there on Wednesday. The drive through was quick, efficient and when I placed my order, it always creeps me a bit out when the people say it was "My pleasure to serve you." it sounds wrong for fast food. i'm only giving three stars because the people inside the drive through window were futzing around with the whipped cream canister, playing around infront of customers and in general flirting with each other. Greatest Chicl-fil-a franchise in Florida. Two open drive-through lines with the fastest and nicest order takers. Lauren took my order and did an excellent job so nice and quick I order and paid in less 2 minutes. Lauren asked me questions to ensure I did not forget drinks and made sure I got my condiments correct both meals. Then she clearly repeated my order to confirm I didn't miss it up. I love Chic -fil-A. But this location is one of the worst I have been to. Very busy high volume store but plenty of employees. I order for 3-4 people. 3-4 times a week for several months now. Every time something is wrong or missing from our order. I never verified food from them before leaving the window. But days of entire meals missing or wrong drinks has required a full bag and drink check. This store does not appear to be under staffed but must have poor management read more

Never ever ate at a Chick - Fil-A before despite my husbands previous experiences . Service was fast with table service. I had a southwest salad with chicken and my husband had the spicy chicken deluxe with waffle fries. His sandwich was delicious. Gets super packed on the weekends, but is calmer late weekday nights. Tuesday is kids night, so yay for free soft cone ice cream! There is a play area which is convenient. They keep this place cleaner than a whistle. I was surprised that they have a dining room attendant who checks on the customers and give them mints, she goes to the register if you are not satisfied with the food or to the condiments area and get you ketchup etc. Her name is Jacqueline but I think she goes by Jackie. She is probably awesome, but one day I tried to get her attention to ask for something and I watched her carefully avoid me though she assisted other customers. As far as the food, it tastes good and certainly has a distinct Chick Fil A taste, but it is not the healthiest. Who is reading this review and never had Chick Fil A food? I do like the food, BUT will most likely never go to this location again. I got in line this morning at 7:45 and didn't reach the window until 8:03. When I finally did reach the window the cashier wanted to be very chatty. I get that you want to be friendly but you have forgotten that you are a FAST FOOD restaurant. If I wanted to spend 20 mins getting my food I would have gone to Perkins. Next time I will drive just a little further down the road and go to the Countryside location. read more

Ordered the 8 count meal with large fries and medium tea before taking my car in for service and the meal was not great. The nuggets were very dry that I couldn't even bite into them and the fries were a little cold. It tasted like it was left for a while before it was sold to me. Chick-Fil-A is a delicacy where I live. I believe there is only one location in the entire San Diego county. So I always aim to get my fried chick-on at least once when visting the CLW. The grub is pretty much like any one of the stores: good seasoned chicken (thin coating unlike KFC), waffle fries, and a plethora of dippin' sauces. What I found notable about this location is: - Extremely clean and well-managed - Diet Dr. Pepper on tap! - The men's bathroom had mouthwash and lotion. I love chick fil a! I was in the "south" for one week and had to eat here 3 times! This particular establishment gets very very crowded, with what seemed to be tourists. These folks could neither form or follow typical lines (I mean is it really that hard??) in the ladies room or the food line! Once I got bast the clusterf**k of people, the staff was very nice and the food came up quickly. My family and I went to a Chick-Fil-A for the first time 6 months ago at this particular location. We were vacationing in Florida and there are no Chick-Fil-A's in our hometown. My wife and I with our two kids walked in and had no idea what to order. I just stared at the menu trying to figure out what I wanted. I tell the nice lady at the register that this is my first time at Chick-Fil-A's. She then kindly goes over every menu item and made it easy for us to decide what we wanted. Then she seats us at a booth and even sets the kids up with the adhesive plastic placemats. Wow such homestyle warmth. The sandwich and waffle fries were amazing and I ended up ordering another sandwich for myself. I don't know if the great warm service is just from this location or its like that with all the other locations, but what a great and lasting impression this restaurant and staff has on me. read more

Wow. Super friendly staff... they will bring your food to you (We noticed them doing so to other patrons. We waited for our food at the counter.) They pass by while you're eating and ask how everything is, and if they can refill your drinks as well. Definitely not your typical fast food restaurant. The food was great! I got the #4: Spicy Chicken fillet sandwich; it came with lettuce, tomato, & your choice of pepperjack, provolone, or american cheese. I chose pepperjack. The chicken was very moist & juicy, very tender, and just the right amount of breading. The side of waffle fries were cooked to perfection. . I chose Sweet Tea with a side of lemon. Fresh brewed yummy goodness. My friend ordered the chicken ceaser salad. It was HUGE. She couldn't even eat it all, & wound up taking more than half of it home. I forgot to go look in the bathroom, probably because I had no need to go. The restaurant was super clean, with staff floating around every which way - so although I know what "assuming" means... I can only assume the bathrooms were clean as well. The place is very family friendly. They had flyers (stacked neatly on the counter) for a children's event to be held there... a Silly Band party. Even 'Drive Thru' traffic is helped by outside associates who take positions to jog the right of way and open up air space. This has a great place and star count is high. The vehicle entrance to this Chick-Fil-A is a little strange to say the least. You basically have to drive all the way around the restaurant to enter it. As expected this Chick-Fil-A delivered an excellent Char-grilled Chicken sandwich and some waffle fries. The meal was excellent and the staff here clearly has a good head on their shoulders. You could tell that this place was well run, just by the teamwork of the staff. I did notice that they had board games at this location...I didn't have time for that since I was headed back to the beach. Nice touch though Chick-Fil-A! If you have to grab a bite quick...this place is a step above your run of the mill "fast food". I know, I know, Chick-fil-A is awesome. But what's more awesome was their Cow Appreciation Day today, where if you dress in any way, shape, or form like a cow, you get a free entrée! So my coworkers and I went there dressed in black and white with cow masks (made out of paper plates), and got a nice lunch for a ridiculously low price! The sandwich was free but the rest of the things, I had to pay for. But so what?! I ordered a Grilled Chicken Club that comes dressed with lettuce, tomato, bacon, and cheese. Delish! With fries and a small side superfood salad- which I never had before. This salad was SO good! The veggies were crunchy and the dressing was just right. The quality of the food was just as good today as it always is, which was a surprise given the amount of people in the place. Lemme tell ya, I never thought that many people could cram into a small space, but they did, and everyone was loving it. It was hotter than a mother, though. But the staff member dressed in the cow costume didn't seem to mind. He/she walked around waving at everyone, dancing for little kids, and life was jolly at the Chick-fil-A today! There's still time. Throw on a white shirt, cut out some black spots, tape them on and head down there to get in on the fun! But only today. I thought it was silly at first but I'm glad I did it. I've been here twice in the last 30 days and going forward, I'll be taking a pass on this location. It's strictly due to food issues. First visit was for lunch, ordered 6 nuggets and a side salad with Ranch. The salad looked like someone literally threw it into the container. The nuggets were not fresh, nor were they hot. Second visit was for breakfast, ordered the chicken biscuit and a large iced tea. The biscuit was mealy, mushy and hit the trash. The chicken was OK but again, warm not hot. They charge $1.79 for tea when you can get it for buck at most places. I'm sad because I usually love Chick-Fil-A but this location falls flat on it's face for me. read more

People often ask why I do reviews on such "famous" chain restaurants. Well let me tell you that not all franchises are created equal ! Luckily for me this chick fil a had its A game on. Only four stars today for one reason ... It appears that the store did a "stuffed animal sleep-over" for the community children last night. It's a great way to improve community relations so kudos to them for that. Basically children bring stuffed animals up on Friday night. The stuffed animals sleep over with the CFA cows and the children return the next morning to retrieve their stuffed animals. There are kids games involved and fun stuff. Great idea. However this store lost a star for not cleaning up after. We decided to eat in and found that many tables were dirty. Not wiped down etc etc. we had to "bus" our own table. Other than that the visit was great. I placed a special order. Had lunch items for breakfast there were no complaints from staff. Just took a few minutes longer which I expected. Same good high quality food and service that you expect from CFA. All businesses can learn from the great customer service, high quality of food, and amazing community service that CFA provides. read more
