This is the worst experience at any Chick-Fil-a. I'm talking from Florida to New York I never experienced this type of service. I waited for over minutes and never received my food. I finally got my money back. I mean this national food chain pride themselves in excellent customer service at they are successful because of that. Well, not this location. The manager ignored multiple times until I asked if I could get help. The manager was not helpful at all. He was more than happy to return my money because it was one less customer to assist. I came in at 12:43 and left at 1:30 without food. Luckily their competitor McDonalds got me in and out in less than 4 minutes. read more

I visited today for some delicious nuggets while doing errands. Park between the JCPenney and the Sears at the Columbia Mall, and you'll enter through the sets of doors where panhandlers gather with a fresh new anecdote. This location is in food court between the Five Guys and the Noodles & Co, past Cinnabon and Auntie Anne's and the Korean fast food joint. The staff are so, so organized and so on top of their orders. World-class. Definitely going somewhere. Everyone says thank you, my pleasure, pardon me, and welcome with the signature mechanical tone of voice but it still seems genuine. The place is so well managed you're never waiting too long. They always open up an extra register to clear the lines. They have kitchen staff regularly cooking up fresh food, never backed up, others restocking condiments and straws and cups. Everyone is always in a good mood. And their good mood passes on to me. McDonalds and Burger King and Wendy's just cannot compare and could learn a thing or two or two hundred. These lesser competitors should do like one of those wife swap shows and entertain a staff swap and marvel at how much business they get! The food is incredibly hot, fresh, visually appealing, and a generous portion. Just fantastic. Not the fault of the business but expect preteens and teens everywhere not social distancing or wearing masks correctly like we're not in a pandemic and don't know by now how to act. read more

Really disappointed today. Occasionally when in the mall I have gone to Chick Fil A and sat down to eat. On more than one occasion I have had to return to the counter because of a problem. Usually it's the fries; given just a couple of fries in a middle size order OR they were cold and hard. Today I ordered online. Doesn't even rate mediocre rating. Fries and sandwich. Driver was prompt, just a short distance to the office. Think the fries were old - from previous night. Sandwich absolutely terrible. Chick fil A in a bit pricey imo but if you don't mind the price, their food is solid- especially the Chick-fil-A sauce! The workers there are awesome. Hands down, the best original chicken sandwich I've had at any of the locations!! The location is located in the Mall in Columbia in the food court. When I walked up to the counter shortly before 11AM yesterday I was pleasantly greeted. After I received my order I sat down at a table directly across. I took one bite into my sandwich and wasn't prepared to be wowed by a sandwich that I've had a hundred times before. The chicken was extra crispy and maybe the color confirmed it as it was darker than normal. The fries were crispy and warm too. Very unusual for me to receive both a warm and crispy sandwich and fries. This is not the usual experience I have had at any of the locations. I am wondering if it's because I arrived so early and it wasn't peak time so they had the time for a bit more TLC. I love going here. These employees have the best customer service. My experience always makes me happy. They have me feeling a sense of appreciation for my business. I did not feel that way during my visit yesterday afternoon. This was the first time I was not greeted, no "my pleasure" and no smile. What?? How can this be? I was disappointed because I had a free cookie as I checked in on this yelp app. The manager said they don't honor these deals and I said really. I am not sure what the deal was but any other offers I get through yelp the companies honor the item. He did say he would give me the cookie but they don't honor things on other apps. This very good fast food. For breakfast, there's the chicken minis which is biscuits and chicken together, very good. For lunch/dinner, I get just a six count nuggets which are affordable and good. A good treat there is the cookie. Remember to ask for the cookie warm for the best cookie. Overall, good and fast. I hope to return soon. read more

I've been to about 100 Chick-Fil-A's in my life and this one doesn't really seem like it would be any different. (In fact, my wife assures me that it is the same as any other.)
