We stopped at this Chik Fil-A while headed down south on our family holiday trip. While driving past charlotte and approaching the SC border we added this location to our gps for a quick snack. It's conveniently located right off of the I 77 exit. When we came inside it was very busy but we were able to get a table. A nice staff member was cleaning the area and disinfected our table top and went as far as pulling the chairs out and swept the floor area. I was impressed with the cleanliness. We placed a mobile order to deliver to the table and we had our food within five minutes. I had the spicy chicken filet and it was fresh, with a little crunch and hot fries. I brought my son into the restroom on the way out and I couldn't believe how spotless it was. There's a nice big new parking lot around 150-200 feet from the restaurant, but a lot of the parking near the restaurant is taken by employees. This used to be the leader in fast food fare. The food was good, the service was friendly and the place oozed a little magic making you happy to be there. Unfortunately things have changed here, I don't know if it's new recipes or different regional managers or ownership but this is now just another place for overpriced somewhat greasy fate.I hope someday they can come back to take the throne in the restaurant market. We ordered a deluxe chicken sandwich a spicy deluxe sandwich and fries. The spicy sandwich was very salty and it is not spicy so we had to add zesty buffalo. We did not like that we paid extra for the spicy deluxe that wasn't spicy. The fries were ok as they were a little saltier than usual but still good. The deluxe sandwich had a good salt level and the chicken was nice and cooked and crunchy. The vegetables tasted nice and fresh. The service was great and the servers were very nice. We like going to Chick-fil-A because there are options for everyone. I've had mixed experiences at this one. The biggest pet peeve is getting in. The line wraps around the building and sometimes you can't get to a pickup spot easily. Ordering is easy on the app which is how we usually order. It's accurate and the prompts work properly when you arrive. Food is usually consistent. I usually get a grilled chicken sandwich and kale salad as a side. Sometimes I'll get the food or chicken in nuggets. Chicken is juicy and has nice flavor. I like the crunch in the kale salad and that it doesn't get soggy. My last visit wasn't the greatest. Aside from the traffic and getting a curbside spot, it took a while to get our food. The bottom bun of our sandwiches were soggy and my husband's large waffle fries seemed half filled. I had to get back to work so we couldn't stick around to tell staff. Overall the food is good but traffic and service at this location is hit or miss. read more

Surprisingly this is the only Chick-Fil-A in Fort Mill (close ones on 521 and Steele Creek). Yes, it's slightly annoying to get into the line with the BP right there but you get used to it. Overall, line moves pretty fast. It does have one ordering screen so slower than some others with the dual ordering lanes. Food is typically good. If not, they will replace such as when I had a salad with bad lettuce. Also once when I got home with wrong order, it was rectified by manager...so service very good. Cashiers inside last couple times seem to be a bit older (nothing wrong with that) but also a bit slower to take orders. Accommodating to changes or special orders. I feel the fruit for kids meals doesn't stack up to some other locations. Overall, very good. read more

They do such a great job at selection and hiring. The customer service is always exceptional. The food is always fresh and they do a great job at everything. For as long as I can remember, this location has always kept the highest standard of quality and efficiency for food throughout Fort Mill. I want to start with.......Chick-Fill-A was the first job I ever had at 15 years of age and worked there for 4-5 years in total. Also I have a family member who worked for corporate for 10 years on top of her own time in a store. I am saying this cause I have so much experience with chick fil a and how great they are with customer service and not being cheap ass restaurant i just went to this location for a few 4 count minis and I always get extra butter on the side... Always!! and pickles on the side. The manager and store worker told me I can't get extra butter on the side cause they have no way of charging it in the system. I asked them very kindly so just put a little on the side in a cup. But they still said they can't cause they don't know how to charge me for that. I was blown away on this cause they insisted that I needed to pay for extra butter, and they couldn't do that cause there was just no how no way to charge it in the system. They have no problem putting the extra butter on the minis, but just couldn't put any on the side at all, not what so ever. I have rarely walked away from a chick fil a unhappy. never have I ever been to a chick fil a and not gotten great customer service. so I didn't get my butter on the side for my 3 4packs of minis. What if I wanted butter on the side regardles and not on the minis at all? could they do that? Probably not! The owner/operator is the cheapest Chick-fil-A owner I have ever came across. Do go there is you want to be treated like crap. Cause that pretty much what they did to me the whole time I was there. I mean I got 3, 4 counts of minis not just 1. The Baxter Village location is near the hotel I stayed in for a week. I visited Chick Fil A for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and just when I needed some lemonade. This is a high traffic location but I used curbside pickup and the orders were fast, efficient and accurate. Stephen in particular was hustling every shift and repeated the order before handing it to me. Definitely recommend for friendliness, accuracy, taste and hustle! read more

The day team here is great. They deserve more than one star for sure, but the crew at night? Negative five stars. First off, it's always so insanely busy here in the evening. Drive thru line wrapped around the building and often no spots in the lot. Tonight, the inside line was wrapped three lines deep through their little rope maze almost our entire visit. It was just painfully slow. And it was a school Spirit Night. There were never more than two registers open and for much of the time I could only see one steadily open. That young man should be commended because he was working very hard. The rest of the teenagers were: taking breaks (7 kids at one time while the line is 3 deep!!), walking around trying to look busy, talking to and distracting the kids trying to actually work or generally keeping busy doing things that didn't seem to actually help the line flow. I'm not kidding that I didn't see a single adult supervisor present to provide leadership. I wish I could say this is the first time I observed this at this chic-fil-a, but it seems like this is the norm for the night crew. I mean maybe having 7 workers on break at 6:45 during dinner rush is a poor idea??? Also, while it's generous of Chic-fil-A to run spirit nights, I think this location should cease offering them because they never staff appropriately and it's just a painful experience for the customers. Or maybe they could just schedule an adult front end manager to work that night. Full disclosure: this was a lunch stop en route on a long road trip from Ohio to Florida, and as a result, this is the only place I've ever been in South Carolina. However, this Chick-fil-A. surpasses brand standards, and deserves a review. It was super crowded on a Saturday around lunchtime, but the restaurant (including the restroom) was very clean and the employees handled everything with ease. Our chicken strips were cooked perfectly, the waffle fries were excellent, the order was accurate, everyone was exceedingly polite, and we were back on I-77 within minutes. Never had a bad meal here. When the owner welcomes you in your prom dress at 22 because that's all you wanted during your real prom, you know that place is legit. Yup, several years ago, I finally visited Chic-fil-a in my prom dress. I've never been the fancy type and couldn't tell you what to do with make-up so; prom for me should have been easy. Nope. My date listened to his business teacher and not his girlfriend... Yup, I held a grudge for a few years until I finally got what I wanted. Childish? Definitely. The point to that is, even several years and a prom dress ago, this Chic-fil-a hasn't steered me wrong. There isn't one thing I've had here that's been over cooked, poorly constructed or awful in anyway. Definitely a healthier fast food alternative and I can't be more grateful for such a close location. Routinely, my craving for Chicken Mini's falls on Sunday's.
