Horrible. Dirty. They are a Landrys but they do not accept the Landrys Card for points. Ok, not a problem, But they are chick-til-a and they don't accept the chick-fil-a app even though you get your drink and it says One App Endless Awesome. Super packed, Limited menu, new building but filthy dirty. Bathrooms were terrible. Hot water and cold water in full blast barely made a trickle of water to wash yooff r hands, oh and no soap.... Awful experience. I asked for a market salad and this is what I received! Who puts granola on top of a salad. They also do not offer the same menu options as the other chic filas. They only offer one type of salad. I paid over $8 for this. I make better salads at home. I went to sleep hungry and disappointed. This is the first bad food we have ever had from a Chick-Fil-a. The waffle fries were OLD. The grilled chicken sandwiches were even older. My wife couldn't even finish it. You'd think for the exorbitant price of $24 for just two people, the food would at least be edible. I'm going to be sooo upset if we get sick. read more

You can definitely tell this is not your traditional chick-fil-a. You can tell that it's just another property owned by Landry's. Which is a shame. The employees do not greet you, say hi or thank you. And the food is not nearly as fresh as your normal chick fil a. I am a Chick-Fil-A fan, hard and true, but this one was a major disappointment. The island was all a-buzz when the rumor went around that a Chick-Fil-A was being opened on Seawall. The closest one is 20 miles inland, so the island needed something of this sort. After our first visit, we cannot list all the issues that this place has. First the location is great for tourists but will be horrendous in the summer at peak tourist season. There is no drive thru and maybe 15 parking spots with two handicap spots. This tells us that they expect most people to walk up and order. That is doable since it is on Seawall unless you don't intend to stay on Seawall and don't want to go inside to wait in line and fight the hordes of people in bikinis that smell like summer sweat. The traffic comes in from Seawall, not 25th Street, which means that the traffic will back up on Seawall. In short, if you're not going there, you will want to avoid Seawall and 23rd at all costs during the summer to ensure you don't get caught in the traffic jam that it will cause. Secondly, it is a Chick-Fil-A Express, which means it does not have a full menu. Mostly nuggets, their basic two sandwiches, and shakes. Just be aware in case you want something an express version doesn't carry. While the staff tried to be friendly and polite, which is a key characteristic of Chick-Fil-A, they fell a little short. A man greeted people in line to answer questions since many people were surprised that it was an express menu. We asked about how something was priced on the menu and he couldn't understand our question. Next, the woman who took our order wasn't paying attention and made both drinks Cokes instead of one a Dr. P like we ordered. I took a huge drink and made a face as she brought our shake over. She realized the issue, apologized, and said she must have mixed up the lids. I tried my SO's drink but it was Coke, too. I had to wait in line again to get the correct drink. We had to ask for extra sauce because the two of us were expected to share one of each sauce apparently. They also didn't give us a spoon for our shake so we couldn't eat it until we got home. Instead of taking your name and using that for orders, like they do in the Express in the Houston tunnels, they gave us a plastic colored cone with a picture that advertised one of their meals. That was what told them which order we were to receive. That worked when there were two or three people waiting but will be an awful system when you have the waiting crowd merging with the line to order during tourist season. Then they forgot to take the cone when they brought our order, so a guy followed us out to ensure we got our full order because our cone was still there when we left. To top it off, there are only two stalls in the bathroom--not nearly enough for the summer rush on Seawall (those are going to be nasty)--and my SO overheard a woman in the other stall talking and finally realized it was an employee hiding to talk on the phone: "I'm at work and am not supposed to be on my phone so I'm in the bathroom." This entire design was poorly thought-out and will be a cluster when summer arrives and it is overwhelmed by tourists. The space isn't large enough and traffic will be made even worse. We'll stick with driving to the mainland and going to Exit 20 for our Chick-Fil-A fix. read more

I went to Chick-fil-A last Friday night with my boyfriend, and I will be a returning customer. There was an employee there by the name of Caleb who was so kind and genuine. He had a good attitude, probably the best attitude I've EVER encountered. What made my night was that he was singing under his breathe; while making his way around to check on customers. My boyfriend and I were so taken by that it make our night. From the second we walked in the door he greeted us with a bright smile.I accidently dropped my ketchup packet on the floor, and Caleb immediately noticed and without pausing made his way over to me. This chick-fil-a is just plain disappointing. On a hot day on the beach, the chicken and waffle fries sounded so delicious. But the rude staff and the ridiculous "precautions" are just too much to make me a happy customer. The refuse to refill drinks as a covid precaution. Give me a freakin break. We stopped in here for a quick snack in the mid afternoon. The service was what you would expect ... quick and friendly, with the food fresh. Basic Chick-fil-A but with the addition of a little ice cream shop inside. I give this location kudos for the way this location keeps the line moving at this very busy location. They're located directly across from the Pier and along the troll route. They seem to have a paired down basic menu and aren't open for breakfast. read more

We came to Galveston for the 4th of July parade and this place was packed . The line was literally wrapping around the store. The reason I'm giving this chick-fil-a a 5/5 is because despite all of this, they still took my order and got my food in an extremely fast time. Props to the staff for taking on the huge crowd. We come to Chick fil A for they're great overall service and this experience has been the complete opposite. Bottom line: they harassed my fiancé and you should NOT eat here. Awful experience, and I was only there for five minutes. I didn't even order food. My fiance and I stopped in really quickly to go to the bathroom. On the way to the bathroom, I noticed that there were caution signs because they had just mopped. The signs were on the sides of the walkway so I assumed that the signs were just to warn about the water on the floor, which was 100% reasonable. I moved on and both my fiance and I went ahead and used the bathrooms, which to be fair, were pretty clean. When I walked out of the bathroom a man, who I assume is a manager, stopped me and asked me if I saw the signs. I said yes, because I had seen the caution signs, and then took caution walking to the bathroom. He told me that the signs, that clearly said caution, meant do not go in. He was incredibly rude to me and demeaning. My fiance then told me as we were walking out that the manager had actually followed him into the restroom! The manager asked if my fiance could read and that the signs said to not enter. This was all while my fiance was trying to pee! I was HORRIFIED that the manager had, first of all, followed my fiance into the bathroom and accused him of not being able to read while he was using the restroom. Second, that they put CAUTION signs out and expected people to know that it meant stay out. I would have had no problem finding somewhere else to use the bathroom. I also would have had no problem buying food if they had asked since I used the bathroom. But after being treated like a stupid child and my fiance being harassed, I will never go back to this already subpar Chick-fil-A. read more

This is a fairly crappy version of a national fast food fried chicken place that typically has pretty decent food even though the owners have used their revenue to fund hate groups in the past. This location has an extremely limited menu. They do NOT have a drive-thru. And after ordering I had to wait damn near forever to get my food, which was overly greasy. I don't get the logic in this place. I work in a town with 60K people and there are literally NINE full-service Chick-fil-a establishments within 20 minutes of me, according to Yelp. Foodwise, they're about as good as other Chick-fil-A's aside from their slightly smaller menu, which is why they get at least one star. However, I've never been to a Chick-fil-A with such terrible customer service. I came here during vacation with family (some of which are from out of the country and need translation) and I don't expect to be treated like royalty at a fast food restaurant, but I do expect the cashiers to be somewhat professional while taking orders. During our order, the gentleman assisting us continually muttered to and glanced at the female employee beside him. I'd also like to add that the female employee was making faces and smirking, while we were completing our order. If you're gonna make fun of your customers, at least wait until they're not right in front of you. It's tacky. I've decided to leave the name of the employees out of this review. Needs a drive-in window. Too inconvenient to park and walk in when the parking lot is almost always a mess and it has a weird shape.

TLDR: The Only Chik Fil A on the island as of Nov 2016. Gets crowded but you can always find a table. I love chik fil a food so I am biased to say it's great. There is not a lot of parking here so it can be a pain in the arse to find. There is a janitor frequently sweeping tables and the floor once you leave so make sure you take your stuff with you! For those who don't know what Chik Fil A is, it's fast food composed of primarily chicken. Their sauces are also great and goes well with their entrees. Their bread is buttered or something so it tastes more fatty and delicious with their greatly seasoned and fried chicken. I would definitely come again and fight the crowd!
