Disappointing. Limited menu for adults, no kid's menu. Floors slick as a skating rink, I'd like to think it's the tile and not accumulated grease. The Dippin Dots stand may have been placed there to make up for the missing kid's menu but you can get far better ice cream from Cold Stone for the same price. You can find better food in Galveston. I always love going to Chick fil a because of the exceptional customer service. However, this location is never the case. I have visited a few times and I have always been treated poorly. The cleanliness definitely below standard and the employees are never smiling or welcoming. I feel as if I'm bothering them by placing an order. It is none other than in Galveston, TX. It's a Chick-fil-A Express, but that's no excuse. The service was terrible. The young man behind the counter didn't know what an Arnold Palmer was, but I can excuse this to inexperience. He seemed genuine and was somewhat friendly, but not like we have all come to expect from Chick-fil-A. Ms. Reed was of the most obtuse individuals I have ever met. The aforementioned young man, messed up our order... No big deal. She grabbed the overcharged drink and threw it away. No big deal. But, then my wife, who has NEVER BEEN TO CHICK-FIL-A, got her spicy #2 and it was waaaaaaaaaay overcooked... So much so that the edges were rock hard. So I went back to the counter... after seeing 3 managers standing there with their backs to the counter and one looked at me 3 times, Ms. Reed finally came to see me... Grabbed the sandwich, with vicious attack on the sandwich, went to the back.. didn't even say anything to me... I went back to the table.. after a few minutes, the manager who ignored me 3 times come with the new sandwich, which mind you was also overcooked... This is a Chick-fil-A Express, similar to what you might find in an airport location. Although it says just that on all of the signs, people come in expecting a full menu. Breakfast is not served and there is no drive thru. This location is a Chick-fil-A licensee, but it is owned by Landry's, Inc. All of the employees work for Landry's, not Chick-fil-A. read more

Absolute worst chick-fil-a I've ever been to. I don't eat here ever but I came with my boyfriend who does and the customer service here is just horrible. My boyfriend tried to order a deluxe chicken sandwich meal and after 5 minutes of miscommunication with the cashier (about name, order, drink, etc.) we finally thought we were on the same page only to find out later when he received his food that she didn't understand him at all. He received a regular chicken sandwich meal and when he went up to the counter to return his wrong order the "manager" dropped the sandwich on the counter in front of other customers and threw it away. We were also informed that this location DOES NOT accept gift cards. The staff is completely unorganized and unaware of customer needs. I would not recommend this location. read more

Wow, that's all I got to say about this chick fil a. It's truly a disappointment, and I we won't be back for now. I know this is near the water and I get the concept, but I still think not having a drive thru is a turn off. When you have kids, and are traveling sometimes the last thing you want is to get down and lug your kids in a long line. They don't have kid meals at this location first off. What chick fil a doesn't have kids meals? I mean we ended up spending more money, and wasted so much food, because my kids don't eat that much. It wasn't necessary, and it's silly to have adult only meals in an area that is a tourist attraction. The staff was really rude and they were way understaffed. They were also super overwhelmed. Obviously, it's going to be busy it's a Saturday at lunch time. Prepare and have your staff equipped for that so lines, and orders go quickly. Also they don't have the chick fil a app which was a bummer, and the parking lot is super tiny. Overall it's just not what I except when I think of chick fil a. From the moment I entered this location I was greeted by enthusiastic and friendly employees!! I sat outside on the patio that overlooks the ocean. The weather could not have been better!! The lady at the register remembered my name when I went back to place another order. The gentlemen that brought me out my food was so nice!! I could hear him interacting with other guests on the patio and he was always professional with a friendly demeanor!! I have been here on the patio for hours and the service has been consistent!! A lot of places have lost their humanity. Not this location of chick-fil-A. We went in after my nephew had an epileptic seizure and we needed something to eat for him so he can feel better. The supervisor or manager that was working on 3-18-17 came and offered his assistance. We asked for some food. He asked what we wanted. We asked for some nuggets and he brought them and said payment is not required and he hopes my nephew was okay. I want to thank this man for his compassion and humanity he showed. All of the other Chik Fil always has the most friendly & professional staff, but not this one. I requested to have a fresh batch of nuggets because there was either a strand of hair or string in my food. I wasn't too upset at first because I understand that it happens. The lead Kendrick was rude. It was such a hassle just to get a fresh order that my husband insisted on returning the rest of the food & drink back for a refund. Kendrick also wanted to argue and say that I was lying. The cashier Sharon lied and said no one there can refund our money & only the manager can. My husband said he can wait. Finally another employee went ahead and gave us a refund. All of this escalated into a bad experience when it could have been handled in a more professional manner. This Chick-fil-A was the worst I've ever been too! The blonde lady Cathryn, who I think was a manager, was very disrespectful when it came to payment. She spoke to us as we were children when we are in our 20's. She made a very unnecessary rude comment towards my friend with me. They did not have the menu nor could we pay with the app. The guy taking our order messed up our drinks, did not give us straws, and did not give us out condiments. They did not give us a receipt even when we asked multiple times. They also messed up our food order which was simply chicken nuggets and fries. Cathryn was very rude to customers in front of us and just had a downright bad attitude. She needs Chick-Fil-A training if she is going to continue to be employed.
