We have been several times, and we absolutely love this place. The food is genuinely homemade from scratch, and the quality and tasteshows. We ordered the antipasta and the pasta sampler (lasagna, manicotti, and cannelloni), and everything was flavorful, well-prepared, and had a true homemade quality. The atmosphere feels authentic and welcoming, and the service was friendly and attentive. In a world of chains, Tony's Italian Kitchen stands out as a genuine Italian dining experience. If you want Italian go here! Best Italian restaurant in town. I got the chicken parm with angel hair pasta. It was delicious. Our server was so sweet and got everything perfect. Food was good! Our waitress was delightful! The restaurant is a bit dated. I had the lobster ravioli. It was okay. Needed more lobster. Husband has spaghetti and meatballs. He stated the sauce was lacking flavor. The meatballs were pretty good though. read more

The first thing I noticed when I walked in was a dive bar cigarette smell... I ordered a veal ziti with pink sauce and it was barely edible. The only reason why we went there was because Billito's was closed. Idk how this place stays in business. read more

I ordered to go from the kids menu. Spaghetti and meat sauce with garlic bread. The spaghetti and meat sauce were delicious. I don't recommend the garlic bread. The bread was actually rolls I believe had been frozen. The bread tasted too much like flour, doughy.... The bread was not even warm, it wouldn't melt butter. The food was very good. Except for the bread. I will order from Tony's again, but I'll make sure to ask for hot bread. read more

Ate here Sunday, Sep 8th around 1pm - no lines and no waiting. Sat where we wanted. Service was quick with bread and drinks. Egg plant parmigiana and Carbonero were good. Pasta was a little tough and chewy. Bacon in the carbonero was strips of bacon cut up into bite sizes. It was okay. Sauce was rich and creamy. I was slopping' it up with the big ole bread roll towards the end. Along with teas I made it out at $42 buckaroos. read more

I travel a lot for work and the food here was fantastic. The menu is abundant with choices. It was a bit confusing for me, but our wonderful waitress explained to just pick out your favorites and they would do a custom dish which they did for me. It was fantastic. I had penne pasta with jumbo shrimp, artichokes, mushrooms, and capers it was a fantastic dish with the pink sauce. The rolls are to die for I could have made a meal out of them alone. The amaretto cheesecake was delicious. The waitress was fantastic and so friendly and helpful. It was a wonderful meal for four of my coworkers and I to enjoy while we worked in Greenville. Check them out. The price with shrimp pasta and cheesecake was about $35. read more

Any restaurant is about the food. Finding real, authentic Italian food anywhere is hit or miss in my humble opinion. This place doesn't miss. I had the cheese ravioli in a hearty meat sauce. The ravioli were perfectly cooked. The meat sauce was full flavored and stuffed full of meat. Mozzarella was generously spread out over the ravioli themselves. Their rolls are something quite different with a tent of sweetness to them. They pair perfectly with butter and we probably do quite well with olive oil and basaltic. My wife thoroughly enjoyed their chicken piccata. She said it reminder her of the kind of food we used to get back in Los Angeles . Greenville, is a town of just over 20,000 people. To find food like this here truly is a good find. We live 45 minutes away. We will return here to enjoy what they offer. The only thing missing for my taste are the red and white checkered tablecloths which they probably have hidden away in the back someplace. Well that was $27.00 down the drain. We ordered for carry out but are highly regretting it. This was our first and last time going to Tony's. This was at 5:30 pm on Friday night. We got this mess home and got it out of the bag and almost immediately threw it in the trash. The chicken capellini was swimming in oil, it was so nasty looking and looks were not deceiving either... this was nasty. The chicken was rubbery and inedible. There was so much grease in it everything was covered in oil. It went in the trash pretty quickly. The so called antipasta salad looked like a three year old put it together. Where is the pride in your food?! Why would anyone dine here if you put no effort in the food send out? A simple search online and you can find all sorts of great antipasta photos to go off of. Yours was just rolled up ham and salami with a few sliced black olives and shredded cheese over lettuce. Yes, that is the basic recipe for antipasta salad but at least make it presentable. The ham tasted ok, salami was a bit old. The salad below all this mess was,, well salad. Thankfully the bread was good but I did not spend $27 for bread. Never again Tony's. It is time to give it up or refocus. Italian food lovers, take your hard earned money west to Farmersville for some awesome Italian food at venecias or head to Sulpher springs to Roma's. Both are awesome choices and run circles around Tony's. Sorry but this is the truth. Make every dish as it was for a new customer and one that you want to keep not just one to take their money and never see them again. Pretty sad actually.. read more

OHHHHHHH MY GOODNESS! THE BREAD! I was skeptical upon entering because it was kind of dark and reminded me of an antique store. They have coke products-score! Then she brings us bread. Not the typical heavy bread you expect in an Italian restaurant. It's a heavenly yeast roll the size of honey bun and if you have a weakness for bread you will not be disappointed! But wait it gets better! We ordered the basics since it's our first time (promise it won't be the last). Spaghetti and Meatballs and Lasagna. The Lasagna is absolutely outstanding, the quality of cheese and homemade marinara is to die for unfortunately I ate too much bread so a to go box for me! Spaghetti and meatballs were very good, meatballs are mild but tasty. Can't wait to come back and try the alfredo and pink sauce and maybe even dessert. Best kept secret in Greenville I'm sure!! And customer service is on point 2nd visit must have had a different cook! Rolls weren't as fresh & and buttery and same entree a bit over cooked. The fresh baked bread served immediately is to die for!!! We alway have food to take home. No worries about getting your fill or your monies worth. Prices are moderate and not over priced. I was in a hurry and just wanted a meatball sub to go They were pretty slow and the owner got up from his meal to take my order. I went out to my car to wait since I was listening to a game on the radio. Was going to give them 10 minuets, and then go in and check. Within 5 minutes he was at my car window. Nice! The Meatball Parmigiana sub was huge. It came on fresh baked bread that might have been a little under baked, but had a crispy crust. Plenty of Romano cheese and meatballs. Very good. First off... I would like to say that I am typically hard on Italian eateries simply because I was taught by aa amazing Sicilian uncle in the finer techniques. But truthfully, this food (the pasta sampler) was unidentifiable. Covered in mozzarella cheese and a tasteless red sauce, I was unsure about what I was eating. The anti-pasto salad was somewhat bizarre, although their house dressing was tasty. The fried calamari was horrendous and pretty much unedible. Tasted like it was freezer burned and was like chewing on a Michelin tire. The owner/chef walked the restaurant in a chef coat, but I seriously doubt his skills in the kitchen. This establishment has a 4 star rating, but I believe it only deserves 2 stars... because the bread was excellent and the wait staff was great. This place needs to reevaluate its menu, or call Chef Ramsey, because they are a nightmare in progress. I can only imagine they are a favorite with the elderly Greenvillians, because they have already lost their sense of taste. read more
