I went in and bought 4 piece chicken strip. One of the chicken strip was so small compare to the other 3 chicken strips. What a rip off for the price that they change. I called them and they didn't even do anything about it. They are all nice to you when you buy from them but it is a different story when you have a problem. Chick-fil-a is awesome. It is probably my favorite fastfood restaurant. I am writing this review for my dog because she absolutely loves their drive thru (at this location). She can hardly contain herself at the window and always gets a milk bone from the window attendant. It is a wonderful experience for all of us. Poor experience with the drive through on the morning of 12/20/2012 around 6:45am at the Marketplace Irvine location. We drove up to the intercom to place the order and nobody said anything. My husband said "hello is anyone there" several times and nothing. After 2 minutes of waiting, he drove up to the window and told the lady that nobody took my order. The lady claimed she didn't have the headset on. He then gave her the order for a breakfast combo with coffee. He got the food and put the coffee into the car's cup holder. We then drove home. When we got home, I noticed that the coffee has leaked all over the car's cup holder. I then saw that a metal screw was pushed into the bottom of the coffee cup which caused it to leaked. My husband called the restaurant a couple hours later to complain about this incident. The manager was apologetic and said he can come in for a free item to make up for this incident. This incident should have never occurred in the first place. Seems like Chick-fil-a don't properly screen their staff and there are staff that have some maturity issue or are possibly racists that do these stupid things; as I have heard from previous news reports. When I lived in Houston, Chick-fil-A was ubiquitous among the work place. Whether it be for lunch, breakfast, or meetings, there was never a shortage of that great deep fried battered chicken, albeit slight salty. After moving back to California, I started to miss the taste that was so common. Upon my visit to the nearest location, I soon reconnected with that familiar memory. I'm have been going to Chick-fil-A for as long as I can remember. A couple weeks ago I came to this location to get breakfast for my managers and a few others on my team. When I came to the line there was not a single person in the drive-through except for me and I was instantly treated with rudeness and hostility. I couldn't see the menu on the iPad and reached a little for it and I was yelled at telling me I can't touch the iPad which makes sense due to the pandemic. I then asked if I could move forward so that I can look at that menu to order and a lady then starts telling me I need to take my order with her even though I can't see the menu. I then start placing my order and I ask about an item on the menu and the lady told me it's on the menu can't you see. That's super rude. Furthermore after I placed my order the same lady then is asking me to pay and for some reason my card won't read she then snatches my card out of my hand to pay. you just tell me that I can't touch your iPad? What makes you think you can snatch my card out of my hand. I then wasn't told the total when she took my card and paid wasn't given a receipt even though I asked for it because my manager needs it and then tells me my order will be ready at the next window. When I approach the window I let the manager know what happens and she asked me what do you want me to do? Youre a manager why don't you tell me what you think you should do. A few items in my order were incorrect and I let her know and she then items and chucked them into the trash made a sigh of annoyance towards me and then remade those items. fairly upset back after work to talk to a manager to let them know about the situation I was then treated as though it didn't matter and treated with disrespect and that I was an inconvenience towards them. it goes to show that I will never be returning back to this Chick-fil-A and this location and its employees has tarnish the reputation that Chick-fil-A stands for. The ownrr should definitely look into rehiring individuals who are capable of delivering the message that Chick-fil-A represents. I called back a few times asking to speak to the owner and had my name and number taken down twice and he never called me back. Nice to know that he doesn't care about his customers. read more

At this location the food is just as I would expect, but the service just wasn't at the level that I have grown accustomed to. Over priced kids' meals. The chicken 'Nuggets' are literally the size of a mans thumb nail (4 or 6 option) & strips are literally 2" * 1" (1 or 2 option). My kids are young, but come on, they do need to eat! Then, you only offer oj, water or milk? Again, come on! Most kids, if they drink juice, drink apple juice. This is a CHEAP way of giving water (free) & pocketing more money. Finally, no yogurt, Apple slices or carrots (only fries?????). Really????? I have a kiddo who doesn't like fries. Options here? This is one of the closest Chick-fil-A by my house and it's my least favorite. My family always pre- orders chicken mini catering and when we went to pick it up, they said they do not have the order in and asked to wait about 10-15 mins. This was NOT the first time its happened to us!! As I was already frustrated, I said that's fine. After 30 mins our order is finally done. Let me repeat 30 MINUTES! They should have told me how long it was actually going to take instead of saying 15 mins. If it was busy I would totally understand, but it was NOT. There were only 3 customers and we were 1 of the 3. They have so many employees working at this location I don't get why they can't get the orders in correctly and give people their orders in a timely matter. When I spoke to the manager letting her know that I've been to many chick -fil-a's before and all the other ones I get excellent service no matter how busy it is but I can't expect the same here, she did not seem to care and just said they will do better next time and walked away before we were even done talking. I will no longer be coming to this location unless they train their employees better. I'd rather drive further for a better experience and service. I gave it 2 stars for the fact that I like chick-fil-a and every item on the menu is excellent. read more

Great place for children. I'm not a huge fan of the food, it's not bad but it's not the best thing either. All I know is I took 2 kids there and they had a blast and that's enough for me! They love the different types of chicken strips they offer, and I'm sure they're healthier than McDonald's, the milkshakes and most importantly the play ground. My wife goes crazy over this chicken fast food joint and before we moved to Irvine, we use to hit up the one in Ontario Mills and before that the ones in Atlanta. Tad expensive for such a small sandwich but tasty none the less. Customer service is strong for a fast food restaurant, drive thru was fast but they forgot my drink once and I had to go back down. They take AMEX which is cool. They use to give out free breakfast when they first opened (first monday of every month) but I think they have stopped. The decor inside is best of any fast food joint. Don't get the grilled chicken, stick with the fried (why bother coming here if you want to be healthy?). the waffle fries are good too. read more

chick fil a is a godsend. u can't go wrong w/ their Grilled Chicken sandwich. it is SO good, tender, juicy, tasty, and it's actually REAlly healthy. its only like.. 230 calories or SOMETHING. i looked it up! it's under 300 anyways. and that's crazy for a sandwich that size. please order that combo w/ waffle fries and make sure to ASK for your DELICIOUS HONEY ROASTED BBQ SAUCE! they hide it! they don't put it out on the counters! you have to ask them for MORE, they only give u like..2 ! just go, can i get some more? so u can get 5. and u can dip ur fries into it. yummmers! they also have a great fried chicken sandwich, and my friend LOVES the spicy chicken (fried) sandwich.... i love their fries. they're so potato-y! :) too bad its slightly far from my work, but totally worth it if i have 30 minutes to spare and run to the drive thru.... i also order their sweet tea, and their chicken soup when i'm feeling kinda sick. it's very tasty and has a thick (vs thin) soup base, and has carrots, and veggies, and chunks of chicken. its a more 'heavy' style soup. i didnt like their chicken salad sandwich too much, but no one's perfect! they also have good breakfast! these little buns w/ chicken in them! it's so goooood............ My boyfriend and I love Chik-Fil-A but this one needs some training classes for their employees. My boyfriend was ordering from the guy standing outside by the Drive Through and looked up, the kid was TEXTING on his phone while taking orders!! Where's the customer service in that?? Also EVERY time we come to this specific location a medium fry gets you about 8 waffle fries..Every single other location I've been to they always give a decent amount of fries, no matter which size. Last but not least, I have to put the fries and chicken nuggets in the oven every time we order from here because they are so soft. I do not eat fastfood, but I will eat chickfila from time to time because the chicken is awesome and the people are so friendly.

First off I would like to start by explaining why I read it with three stars. This is a chicken restaurant and would expect that they have the best chicken cooked right every time. My chicken was below expectations. While it was large and have plenty of white meat my crispy chicken sandwich was not crispy at all in fact it was kind of soggy. I would expect more from CFA. Apart from the bad chicken the rest of my experience was well. I was greeted with a friendly smile walking in the door which is amazing. The Lobby is clean as well as the facilities. I did not have to wait long in line when I walked in the diner and the food was brought to me very quickly. Maybe a little too quick as I expected to wait at least 7 minutes for a fresh chicken. My wait time was 2 minutes. If this was any other restaurant other than a specialty chicken I would have rated more stars at least one. The Buns on my sandwich or very yummy. The lettuce tomatoes and pickles were delicious as well crispy and look very fresh. The food was brought to mean to the table which is great. This location has plenty of convenient parking and nice scenery with plenty of palm trees and it looks beautiful in the entire area. A great place to bring a date or family. I wish I could write more stars for the excellent customer service location and Incredibly great facility butt like I said being that it is a chicken specialty restaurant my chicken should have been incredibly fresh but it wasn't. Overall maybe it was just the time of the day or the staff that are there but I am considering going to a Chick-fil-A at another location for second thoughts on the overall chain experience. read more

It's healthier than other places, they're fast, and it's an affordable price. Plenty of seating, comfortable atmosphere, and some good quality food will make your visit great. It doesn't matter what time you go, whether is rush hour or on a 4pm on a Monday, this place guarantees quickness and satisfaction everytime you go. The service is friendly, it is always clean, and the food is tasty and reliable. They always have promotions going on, just "like" them on Facebook to find out the secret phrase of the day. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Chick fil a is very well known for their customers service but apparently this location is the exception. We went to chick fil and ordered about 5 combos the guy Kobe taking our order had such an attitudes and was trying to hurry us up. Had no patience. Once we got to the window we asked for more sauces since we were only given 4 in total and we had a bigger order. The cashier was so rude and didn't want to give us any extra sauce only 4 more because apparently it's 8 per order. We explained to her that we had a bigger order if we could please get more. And she said it's 8 per order. Then we asked should we order 5 separately orders that way we are able to get enough sauces and she said "yes maybe next time that should help" I was a little confused with her response and not wanting to give us more sauces. I don't mind paying extra for extra sauces but maybe they should make it clear when you order that it's only 8 per order that way I would make 5 different transactions. This has not been my only bad experience with them. They have messed up my orders in the passed and when I tell them they get mad at me as if it was my fault. read more

The staff here are great! I come often in the morning to get breakfast and they really notice. One day I went to get breakfast like I normally do. I ordered my usual and pulled up to the window and realized I had forgotten my wallet at home. Stephanie one of the staff members there realized how flustered I was. She also knows that I come in just about every other morning to get breakfast there and told me not to worry and handed me my meal. I told her no I couldn't possibly take it and handed it back to her, because I would feel terrible the whole day about it. She said not to worry it's OK its on the house and told me to enjoy. That honestly made my entire day. Now every time I come in she knows when it's me on the speaker and has my meal ready to go with all my condiments. Politics smolitics.. This place has great customer service and good food to boot. Best thing is their chicken sandwiches are made with, hold on to your hats, real unprocessed chicken! Skip McD's weak processed "country style" chicken sandwich thats supposed to compete with Chick-Fil-A (think a big nugget) and come here for the real deal. The waffle fries are an engineering wonder. How their ridges scoop up and trap copious amounts of ketchup or your condiment of choice (polynesian saaawwuce thx) without dripping is a modern day marvel. Has an large indoor playground thats clean. Nice if you have a kid so you can wear them out allowing you to slouch around for the rest of the afternoon because of the all that food in your gut has made you as brisk as a sloth. Customer service, yep.. Awesome. They bring your food to your table, come around occasionally and with free samples, and offer to refill your drink for you sparing you the need to burn off the calories by getting up and doing it yourself.
