I love Chick Fila and I've probably visited this particular Chick Fila about 40-50 times since they open. I've concluded this is the most inconsistent and poorly managed chick fila I've eaten at. I wish there was another location that's within a reasonable distance. They usually forget at least 1 item from my order. Their chicken strips are good about half the time and the other half they're dry and undersized. Chicken in the sandwich ranges from what the hell small to normal. I just never know what I'm going to get from this Chick Fila. I get emails from their general manager about promotions but I've never actually seen him at this location on any of my visits. This is the first time I've lived near a Chick-fil-A but it won't be the last. I'm now basing future moves on how close they are to this juicy, crispy, juicy chain. All of the sandwiches are great, especially the spicy one, as are the nuggets. The side salad and kale salad are satisfying sides. And when I want to indulge, I go for the deliciously crisp and chewy waffle fries. The diet lemonade has actual pulp in it. And free refills? Mental. Instead of boycotting this chicken for their CEO's views on marriage, do what I do and try to create change from the inside. Food is good, manager being very rude, worst experience in any Chick-fil-A ever. I ordered iced tea lemonade and the it was taken as frosted lemonade by mistake. It happens sometimes so it's not much big deal. I corrected them. The female manager there named "Zoey" didn't apologize, passed me the right drink and not giving my money back for the price difference. She seems to be surprised when I asked for it. She said most people don't bother to get this 1 dollar something back. I have no idea what makes she think that way, and it takes her couple minutes to give the money back. IMO this is not just being rude, it's more of the values that that manager show to her customers. I never have this experience in any Chick-fil-A elsewhere and other places even BK in the newport mall. There's no respect and fountamental values that manager shows to customers. After a long wait, Chick-fil-A finally arrives in Jersey City. Chick-fil-A first caught my attention through the relatively recent opening in midtown NY. After reading the glorious reviews -- all the more surprising considering its a fast food restaurant -- I knew I had to come here asap. My initial observation upon receiving my order was that somehow, the spicy chicken sandwich actually looked exactly how it looked on television commercials. This was definitely a first for me, and unsurprisingly the taste also separated itself from the BK and McDonald's of the world. The accompanying fries were a slight letdown, but perhaps I merely caught them on an off day. Sometimes you really just need Chick-fil-A. I don't really review chain restaurants, but I'm not ashamed to admit I love this fast food chain. I've had Chick-fil-A plenty of times before, but finally got around to eating it in JC. I usually get their chicken nuggets with a side of waffle fries. This time I decided to try their spicy chicken deluxe. It was not that spicy, but I love the crispy skin and pickles. The tomatoes are bit wilted. Go for the spicy chicken deluxe over the regular chicken deluxe. For the fries, you can ask for all their sauces. My favorites are the Polynesian, buffalo sauce, and spicy Sriracha. Since you are in a food court, you don't get the full Southern hospitality experience as you would in a building location. In those locations, I feel like the staff is more friendly. A person would actually come and ask you how everything is and if we need anything else so the service almost didn't feel like that of a fast food restaurant. Almost, but not quite. Other times I have had better. The customer service is good. However, laziness at its best when it came to food. Order my food for mobile order. Now I understand it is busy but if I am spending $15 on a meal at least get it right. I got home within 5 mins live around the corner. My chicken sandwich was warm to cold. Worst fast food experience ever. Pass on this location. I grew up in the South surrounded by Chickfilas and always had nothing but good things to say about them - that is until I visited this location in Newport Mall. I ordered on the app and noticed the next day I'd been charged twice for my order. Once at the time of purchase and again hours later when I was long gone from the mall. I called the manager at this location and instead of receiving any help in the matter, he thought it was better to call me a liar (literally said something along the lines of "well you could be lying"). I was shocked. After speaking with him a few times and getting the same offensive response, I contacted CFA corporate, who then contacted this location's owner - Jon Young. Jon proceeded to resolve the issue by, get this, sending me a voucher for a free cookie. That's it. The manager called me a liar multiple times for being incorrectly charged and the owner's response? Free cookie. I don't think that quite cuts it Jon. Needless to say, this is one CFA location that will never be receiving my business again. read more

In reviewing fast food, the comparisons should be too fast food. The meal I had at Chick-fil-A cost less than 8 dollars...but I have to say it was pretty good. The spicy chicken sandwich is the best I have had in fast food - it over takes my long standing favorite from Wendy's. The bun is very soft and the lettuce and tomato fresh tasting - hopefully they keep it up beyond the grand opening grade period. The chicken breast was actually spicy and crisp and meaty. This Chick-fil-A just opened. They are rare here on the east coast whole popular in the south. The line felt shake shack-esque and there was an army of staff handing out menus and helping move the line along. In one odd step, my order was take while I was in line and then written on a piece of paper and handed to me. I then gave this to the cashier. I suppose it saved 10 seconds of me figuring out what I wanted and ordering but in most cases you order from somebody when you are in line so that your order is proactively entered...but anyway. The service was overall friendly and when your order is ready a nice man in a tie handed me my food - calling out my name. I will come back and try their shakes, regular sandwich and nuggets or tenders. Yay. Some cons...the waffle fries weren't that crisp and the lemonade was very sweet. Some general facts - they aren't opened on Sunday's, they use whole breast chicken but it's not free range. Oh...there was also a cow with a sign saying eat more Chikin as part of the opening. The company is privately owned, worth over 4.5 bn and has been rated the best fast food restaurant in the US. It is based in Atlanta. A few years back there was controversy around comments made by the COO against gay marriage. As another reviewer noted, this location is much easier to get in and out of compared to the NYC restaurant. Also, the prices in Jersey City are lower. The food is great and the staff are friendly. Not your regular fast food place. First of all, customer service is on point! They try to get as many orders as they can by having multiple stations open and with employees walking up to people already on line with ordering pads. The chicken caesar wrap with the avocado lime dressing is a must! I personally dont like their hot sauce. read more

Just came in for breakfast and had to swap out multiple Chick-fil-A chicken biscuits because they were all terribly made.
