    mac and cheese box
    Jason U.

Stopped by Fluffies Hot Chicken LES and grabbed one of their chicken boxes. For $15, this was a super filling and satisfying meal. I tried both the mac and cheese base and the fries with chopped fried chicken on top -- smothered in their signature sauce. The chicken was crispy, nice white meat, and seasoned well, with a nice balance of kick and flavor. The sides included pickles (nice and tangy) and coleslaw (cool and creamy, though a bit basic), which helped cut through the richness of the dish. That said, the box can get a bit repetitive about halfway through -- the richness and same texture combo (fried + creamy) could use a little more variety or a pop of freshness. Still, for the price, this is a fantastic value -- you're getting a hearty portion that could easily stretch into two meals. Service was extremely friendly, and the food came out very quickly. Staff seemed genuinely happy to be there, which added to the experience. Great spot if you're craving something indulgent and comforting. Just be ready for a bit of a food coma afterward!

Came here to try the viral chicken, fries, mac n cheese box. I have to say I'm kind of disappointed. The chicken is breast meat and it's so tough, and dried. The Mac n cheese is kind of flavorless. The fries are standard. Sauce is very similar to chick-fil-A's sauce. Pickup was easy and quick. The portion size is good, they give lots of food. Staff and location is fine too. Inside is clean with ample seating. But I really was expecting some juicy chicken. Pretty overhyped for pretty mid chicken sadly :(.

Found this place on IG a while ago and decided to give it a try. I will just say that the hype is real! The chicken was crispy on the outside while staying tender and juicy on the inside. Decided to go with the medium sauce since I was at work and it did not disappoint. The sauce was flavorful and complimented the seasoning very well. The fries and pickles were a nice touch as well. Delivery was fast and the food was hot!

This review is for the chicken biscuit ($12). Chicken was juicy and crispy with delicious sweet (reminds me of a spicy honey mustard) sauce, which my partner really liked! Quick and easy to order. Visit was around 2pm on a Saturday so it wasn't crowded. There are about 8-10 stools along one wall for seating. This is primarily a take out spot as it can get very crowded. For the price, I would try the fluffies filled fries next time ($14) - fried chicken pieces over fries and mac and cheese.

First time seeing this establishment, so I decided to give a try. It's a small place, but the food packs a big punch. I ordered the Fluffies filled Mac & cheese with mild chicken and the fluffy sauce with a strawberry lemonade. When I went to pay though I didn't like that they force you to give your phone number just to send you a text that the food is ready. Even when I said I'm not going anywhere I'm waiting here. The food was ready in about 5-10 minutes. I ate the fluffy which was delicious. I didn't know what to expect with that combo but it was great. The fluffy sauce took it to another notch. I think it has a little spicy kick to it which I like. The strawberry lemonade was super sweet, a little too sweet. I poured out half into another bottle and added water and made two strawberry lemonades which hit the spot! All in all, this is a nice spot to get a meal that will fill you up and keep you going throughout your day.

Such sweet staff and good service even though it was PACKED. Well worth the wait. The slider honestly almost comes close to a burger and it's a hefty piece of chicken in there. ($6) The slaw and sauce pair so well (I don't usually like slaw) and you can get it not spicy or mild or medium or spicy. Really yummy bun as well, they did not miss! It's a small location with counter seating so I took mine to go but I'll def be back to try some loaded fries.

Yooooooo this is my new favorite chicken spot I am amazed at how flavorful and so packed they made my order. The staff was friendly making sure I made the right order and not pick a too dang hot flavor chicken its a small place but those are the good ambiance. I like the selections and it was made with the temperature still good enough when I got home it was ready to eat. Yeah they give good portions of condiments and when I secured the to go bag people was looking at me like yeah she about to eat good I was eating that meal for 3 days sheeesh. I know when I want a quick chicken spot that cooks well with flavor I can get it from this spot on LES. I will be back

Nice grand opening! They still had free sliders when I got there! This place is a small eatery with some really good chicken. The slider was amazing very flavorful and had a nice kick. The coleslaw is not too sweet and the pickle was very good. The lemon pepper wings were amazing!! Not too salty like other shops. The service was very good and prompt. The woman who took my order was very nice and knowledgeable about the menu. She even asked if I wanted my sandwiches separated for travel! Bonus points from me. Check them out and show them some love.

Walked in and ordered a "Fluffies filled with mac n cheese" and "Signature Chicken Sandwich", we also got a "Mango Lassi". Food was out in 6-8 minutes, there are few tables there so we decided to have it there, it's nothing fancy but does the job. Portions were huge and worth the money, chicken was crisp and we got the hot version for everything. They gave their signature sauce with the sandwich, unfortunately it was too much food for two people we were not able to finish. Flavorful and yumm!!!

I ordered Fluffies Hot Chicken and really enjoyed it. I tried all three sandwiches, each one spicier than the last. However, the price is quite expensive.

This was a delivery order on 5/10 - I loved the Mac and cheese ! So creamy and cheesy ! The chicken was elevated - still warm And must more flavor in it then that competitor RC Fries weren't bogus either yummy fries delivered still warm and yummy Pickles reminded me of Knott's Berry Farm Chicken Dinner pickles.

Fluffies Hot Chicken in the LES was fantastic! The mac & cheese was so creamy, and the chicken was crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside. The spicy mayo added an extra kick and made it even better. The portions were huge--enough for me to split between lunch and dinner. The service was quick too, which made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. There's only a few seats tho so this is more so a spot for a quick and grab meal. Definitely a spot I'll be coming back to!

The enticing smell hits you as soon as you open the door! There was a lot of people waiting on to-go orders and the bar was filled but there was no line & the order came promptly! As soon as we sat down to wait on our food the line was to the door! Thats a great sign you are in the right place for good food! We are from Nashville so we had to stop by for Nashville HOT chicken! I don't eat meat but it send s good! The best deal is to get the Mac bowl with half fries half Mac for $14. Same price as a chicken sandwich alone. Would highly recommend!

The chicken was fried perfectly; it crispy on the outside, juicy and flavorful inside. The portions are generous, and although I paid almost $30 for dinner with rice, I still had enough left over for another meal. It's definitely pricier than many of the more affordable spots around Chinatown, but they're serving a more niche menu rather than the usual dumplings, noodles, or Chinese BBQ, so I think the price is justified. They also accept cards, which is convenient compared with some other spots in the neighborhood that are cash-only. The main reason I'm giving it 4 stars is the service. There was some miscommunication with the staff, my drinks were brought to another table, and they almost did the same with my food before I signaled that it was mine. The tables also weren't the cleanest and could've used a quick wipe-down between guests. That said, the restaurant is very small, probably only 10-12 seats, so space is definitely limited. Despite the service issues, I really enjoyed the food and would come back. If you're looking for something different from the typical Chinatown offerings, Peking House is definitely worth trying!

I had the Claude sandwich with the chicken claw, and it was amazing. The claw doesn't have much meat, but it's super Instagrammable and a fun touch. I was surprised to find that it's a ghost kitchen. You walk behind the coffee shop and order from a kiosk with many other restaurants to order from as well. I ordered the Claude the Claw ($18.99) with medium spicy sauce on the side. The sandwich is pretty huge. I like how they wrapped the sandwich around the claw sticking out from the bottom. I did take it out of the wrapper for the picture, but suggest you keep the wrapper on as it gets messy to eat. The spices and flavor is delicious and the chicken is crispy and tender. It's a great Nashville hot chicken sandwich overall. While the claw is insta-worthy, it's not quite worth the extra $4 (plus you can't really even eat it, so it's all for show). I'd suggest getting the claw for your first time, but I'd get the regular sandwich in the future for the lower price.

After they opened, they added some specials ranging from $15 to $17, combining chicken with fries or dumplings, and I went with the sweet and spicy boneless chicken with standard fries, as you can also update the fries to the "spicy snow" version for an extra $1. The cashier was friendly. The sweet and spicy chicken is their version of Yangnyeom/양념치킨, and the combo came with a few moderately sized pieces. The breading was crispy, and the chicken inside was pretty tender. There was some sweetness, and it had a mild kick, though it wasn't as spicy as I prefer. The fries inside were OK. They had a good crisp to them and a good crunch, but needed a tad more salt. The fry portion was also much larger, so next time, I would just stick with the chicken. The free kimchi was standard and decent. This was a perfectly decent Korean chicken spot. If it were any closer to a Korean neighborhood, I doubt it would be doing well, but there is a distinct lack of Korean places nearby outside of the primarily takeout spot, which doesn't specialize at all in chicken. It fills a niche, and I would likely at some point stop in again to try their Korean chicken sandwich or their plain chicken to try more of their sauces.
