WORST EXPERIENCE 0 STARS I came with my friend who just got her wisdom teeth removed she just needed some water so she wouldn't get dry sockets. So I went through the drive thru. When I told the guy I just wanted water he had the worst attitude and told me to pull forward since it was busy I could only move up so far so I was still able to hear him over the speaker bashing my friend and I calling us all kinds of names. It was beyond disrespectful and not how you should treat your customers. You guys need to train your staff better because I doubt that is how you want your business to be represented. read more

LOVE CHICK-FIL-A!!!!! If I have to get fast food you better believe I'm going here!! It was Friday night the husband and I had to do some shopping and filling the car with gas at Costco. Before we knew it we looked at the time and it was 8 PM and we hadn't eaten dinner yet. We both agreed on Chick-Fil-A. Nice ample parking and when entering the place it's immaculately clean. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich meal that comes with a drink and waffle fries. I LOVE their sauces and had a couple honey mustard and Chuck-Fil-A sauces. If I could compare the two the Chick-Fil-A sauce tastes better. I love waffle fries, so I was very satisfied with them. I enjoyed using the sauces to dip them in along with the cool ketchup packets. My husband ordered their spicy chicken sandwich meal and was happy with his. The only downfall was the lettuce on both of our sandwiches. It was like a salad going on in our sandwich, so we had to pull out some of the lettuce to make our sandwich edible Overall great quality food, immaculate/clean dining experience, and great customer service. Poor service dirty restaurant. Don't give a dammed about customers especially Alex Lobo. Went in for lunch inquired about law enforcement discount. Was told by Johnny only kilder officers get free meals. We informed him if was chick fil policy to give 5o% discount. We then stood there for 20 minutes waiting for someone to figure this out. Alex Lobo comes out does not apologize. Treated my daughter like a piece of garbage. Definitely did not like law enforcement. Didn't seem like he cared for law enforcement. The real kicker was the food was ice cold when we received it. Had to bring it back up again no apology. Called customer relations and was told the owner of this restaurant would call me back, contacted corporate twice still no response from the owner Allen ordeanu. Do what you want say what you want and act poorly, I guess it is the new way for chick fil. This was not my pleasure to be treated with such disrespect. read more

Ordered a deluxe spicy chicken sandwich through the app and waited through the longgggg drive-thru line. The staff were all professional, competent, and courteous. Our wait was shorter than expected, and the overall process was as efficient as possible. As for the food, everything was warm and delicious, up to the standards I have come to expect from every chick-fil-a I have visited. An excellent fast food choice and experience. read more

Always awesome food but felt rushed at drive through along with rude service at the ordering station. Jackson was very nice in the window but everyone around him were messing around and on their phones. Yesterdays service was worse than Mcdonalds. I took my family 8/2/2023 to get some of that great chicken they have. Teen cashiers were uninspired and stood there like zombies. Ordered 3 chicken sandwiches, 2 waffle fries, 1 coke and 1 sunjoy. Usually we are asked what sauce we want and no one asked. I came from work so I was tired and forgot to ask myself. Food finally was brought over to us we got 2 sandwiches and 1 coke. What happened to the rest? My son went to cashier and he handed him a sunjoy. I asked my son where are fries and sauce and he said they did not give it to him.. I went back and they gave me sauce finally. We waited no fries. Finally I asked the guy cleaning tables and finally got fries. By then our sandwiches were cold. Never again. I do not need to be running back and forth for my food after a long shift at work. Im tired I want food then go home and relax. This place is run by teens its a joke. I would rate this place 0 stars. Cold food, no sauce, wont fill your order fully. First and foremost this review has been tough to quantify into yelp's LIMITED 5 star system. Secondly, this review is based on two times of EVER going to a chick-fil-a. And lastly, a short hand list of positives and negatives is included at the end.... The first time I had ever been to a Chick-fil-a was a couple of weeks prior to this review. I ordered the deluxe spicy chicken sandwich and I honestly felt like it was a big let down. I had heard that their chicken was amazing and fantastical and all those positive magical adjectives, but this sandwich was a little boring and kind of depressing. First off, it looked burned, which after taking a bite I discovered it was not in fact burned, but LOADED with paprika. Yuck! And the chicken patty wasn't properly shaped to accommodate condiments. They were spilling out of the sides everywhere. The waffle fries that came with the meal were just okay. Nothing positive, nothing negative to comment on. After my visit I was on the fence about whether it would be my last. However, I am all about second (and in extenuating circumstances, third) chances. So I went through the drive through about a week later and decided to order the 4 piece chicken strips with both BBQ and their special Chick-fil-a dipping sauces. WOW the chicken strips were soooooooo good, especially with the chick-fil-a sauce! They were moist, perfectly fried and seasoned, and delightfully satisfying. I found my favorite new place to get chicken strips! The staff was very polite and overly accommodating. The first time I went I decided to go inside and eat lunch to get the full experience. They ask for your name and always used the commercial marketing response of "It's my pleasure (insert name)..." They also brought my food to the table I was sitting at and continued that whole, "It's my pleasure (insert name)..." and routinely checked up on me to see if I needed any sauces or refills on my drink. They also happened to have that cow mascot walking around. It kept waving at me. I sincerely appreciate the people that muster up the whimsy and humor required to don quirky costumes in public. The staff at the drive through was just as accommodating and ensured the orders moved quickly and efficiently. The employees at the Deer Park/ Kildeer Chick-Fil-A get 5 out of 5 stars! As for the facility itself: I groaned a little bit when I saw yet ANOTHER fast food joint being built. The outside of the building is nicely designed and aesthetically in line with the shopping center. It has two drive through lanes and hardly any lines. The inside is just another boring, sterile fast food facility. Although everything is clean and tidy, there is nothing that makes it special (A Christmas tree at the entrance just doesn't cut it). I peeked in the bathrooms and they looked clean and tidy but smallish for the amount of seating within the building. There are many parking spaces and the lot and drive through are kept free of snow and debris. Overall, the Kildeer Chick-fil-a gets two stars from me because despite the wonderful staff and excellent chicken fingers, I just cannot get over the fact that there is really nothing aside from the chicken fingers that would make me want to be a repeat customer. I certainly appreciate the work the staff does as well as the entrepreneurial franchise owners' efforts but, the overly aware marketing propaganda both on a micro and macro level does not sit well with me. I believe that this disjointed attempt at a wider demographic grab coupled with insincere attempts at longer term relationship formation is the lynch pin that maintains individual internal indecisiveness. In order to make me become a repeat customer, there is nothing that the individual restaurant staff can do better (because they already seem to be doing a great job). It has to do with the business model methodology as well as the economy and changing tastes of consumers (like myself) in the northwest Chicago region. Positives: -clean facilities and parking lots -good chicken fingers and sauces -good portion sizes -polite, friendly, attentive staff -moderately fast wait time -fairly priced -public attempts at creating a different fast food culture -no extra charge for condiments -cow mascot! -child friendly Negatives: -spicy chicken deluxe sandwich had too much paprika and was shaped poorly -no anonymity if you just want to have a quiet meal by yourself -the fact that there is ANOTHER non-unique restaurant in deer park.....ugh -BBQ sauce was on the vinegar-y side -aesthetically, the interior decor does not feel welcoming or like any love or originality went into it And my one critique that is on the fence: -Overly friendly staff and (surprisingly) other customers (to a fault) read more

This was the first time to a Chick-Fil-A restaurant. We took Luna with us. Since it is new, it was crowded but we got our order taken very promptly. They had a little difficultly with our order for Luna. We wanted the grilled chicken breast without a bun plain. They couldn't understand not getting a complete sandwich, but in the end they got it right and it was gone in about 10 seconds. Three paws up from Luna. Newly opened! Love their food. Was there at 6pm on a Friday night. It was busy and packed but we got a seat, no problem. Food was delivered quickly. Service was very friendly. Restaurant is clean and I love how they use a fresh wipe to clean off tables and not a dirty rag that's reused over and over, a breeding ground for bacteria. Yesterday we had a very unpleasant experience at Chick-fil-A. We received our order and we're missing some items. We called once we got home and informed the store they were missing food and they offered to replace the items when we could come in next or come back to get them. We decided to come back and get the chicken strips once we got there we were met by a manager named Jackson D and this is where our experience at Chick-fil-a went south. Once we explained what happened, Jackson became extremely rude and treated us with no respect. Once we received our missing food and we asked for Jackson's name and ways to contact corporate or store owner he got more upset and just pointed to his name tag and then just said "this is all you need to know" and gave us a hard time about giving us the information. Once we received the information after about 5 minutes he gave us the receipts and info and proceeded to say "my pleasure" in a rude manner. I understand this is only one experience but we have had many small issues with this store and have informed the store nicely about messed up orders and missing food. I would highly suggest going to the store in Vernon Hills even though it's a little more of a drive, but we have never been disrespected there or have be treaded badly. read more
