Yesterday we had a very unpleasant experience at Chick-fil-A. We received our order and we're missing some items. We called once we got home and informed the store they were missing food and they offered to replace the items when we could come in next or come back to get them. We decided to come back and get the chicken strips once we got there we were met by a manager named Jackson D and this is where our experience at Chick-fil-a went south. Once we explained what happened, Jackson became extremely rude and treated us with no respect. Once we received our missing food and we asked for Jackson's name and ways to contact corporate or store owner he got more upset and just pointed to his name tag and then just said "this is all you need to know" and gave us a hard time about giving us the information. Once we received the information after about 5 minutes he gave us the receipts and info and proceeded to say "my pleasure" in a rude manner. I understand this is only one experience but we have had many small issues with this store and have informed the store nicely about messed up orders and missing food. I would highly suggest going to the store in Vernon Hills even though it's a little more of a drive, but we have never been disrespected there or have be treaded badly. read more

Worst experience. Tonight was special as it was my twin children's birthday. This was a special dinner request by them. Because it's a school night and it was already late (9pm), we really couldn't go splurge somewhere else. Ordered on the app so that we don't miss or mess anyone's order (we're a family of six with all teens in the house). I should've have known to check the orders before driving away. We're at least 20 minutes away from the restaurant. We get home, one sandwich is missing, no straws are included (we had 4 drinks) and no extra chick fil a sauce (we requested this when we pulled up to the drive thru). I called and they couldn't refund my credit card, was offered a free meal. This is fine, but this meant one of our family members didn't have dinner so that doesn't really help right now. They used to be generous with the sauce especially with the big orders we always place. I don't remember ever having any of this issues in the past. I won't be back for a while, well, maybe I'll come and get my freebie. It's great food but service is no good. read more

Everything is great about this place.... if they can ever get my order right. Every single time I've been here they forget my waffle fries. I was just there today and no waffle fries again. Why not go back? I have 2 little kids and it's already hard enough going once. Okay so all my foodie friends please don't judge me for eating here and enjoying it as well. It was one of those days where we were having a crappy weather summer day and I wanted some comfort food for lunch. Yes, I know there are many places to go but I'm not into junk food from McD's or Wendy's so I thought this would be the next best thing to try. And OMG, I kind of really liked it. (Insert ashamed face here). I seriously thought I would hate it. But this location is very nice and clean and the girl taking your order was super friendly. She even brought it over to me which I thought was nice and possibly warranted a tip. Wait, get yourself together, you're not in a fancy place. So I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich as well as an order of waffle fries. I mean if you're going to be bad, you should be really bad. It was brought out hot in like a few minutes and it was delicious. The sandwich was plentiful and I seriously left full. It had a lot of chicken and less bun which is always a plus. Crunchy little pickles in between and the best were all the sauces from honey mustard, to the Polynesian sauce to the Chick Fil A sauce which was probably my favorite of them all, tangy yet sweet with a hint of spice. Super tasty. Oh and who doesn't love waffle fries? I seriously ate it all and didn't feel guilty afterwards. Granted this will be like a once a year type of trip for me but I will enjoy it annually. Or it's good food to take with when driving on a road trip because it does fill you up and you don't feel sick afterwards. And I can't say that for many other fast food type places where I really regret it afterwards. Get the sauces, but like seriously all of them, they will give you unlimited which is really nice. And if waffle fries were 0 calories I would seriously eat them all day everyday. That is all. Carry on foodies, this was just a little place that I had to review to point out that I liked it. I've never been to Chick Fil A before, but figured since its new in town I'd give it a try The food was just eh. I ordered the original chicken sandwich with waffle fries and a side of coleslaw. The chicken was overly greasy, which I guess you should expect for fried chicken, but it didnt even have a good flavor to the chicken. The waffle fries seemed limp and stale and were a pretty big disappointment. I also tried the coleslaw, which also seemed to lack flavor and was chopped up so small it kind of seemed like a mush. The person taking my order was very friendly even though he repeated it back to me incorrectly. And the person who took my money was also kind. Overall, I feel like this restaurant lacks flavor and likely won't be back. read more

Meh..... Its pretty good but for some reason the ones I visited in Georgia were much better and had friendlier staff.

My husband, two little ones and I packed ourselves into our car after my first day back to work after maternity leave. When we arrived at the restaurant, we discovered our daughter had pulled all of my husband's credit cards out of his wallet. Mark and Bruno did not hesitate to treat to our meals versus us making the trek back home. We truly appreciated their generosity. Last night I was very shocked and had the most unpleasant experience at the Chick-fil-A in Kildeer, Il. We received our order an was missing an item. When I called to let them know I was missing an item - I talked with Ben the store manager an at the end of my conversation -Ben offered to to replace our whole order due to I would have to drive 20 mins one way to pickup the item an my other food would be cold by the time I was able to get back home. Once we arrive at the store a manager by the name of Jackson D came out to talk with me an this is where everything went awry. Jackson D was condescending, extremely rude and basically calling me a liar that Ben said he would replace our whole order. Jackson D kept arguing that Ben would never say that. Store policy is to replace just the item. At this point I asked Jackson D would he like to eat cold food an he replied no. Exactly I said! Jackson D replied that we should of ate our food first before coming to get the missing food. I said we wanted to eat as a family. At this point Jackson D was still arguing that Ben would have never said that. It is now about 7:40 at night I just gave up. I asked him to write down his name an Bens an give me corporate information I want to call them. Jackson D asked if I drove a car an I said yes it right out there he told me to go to my car and he would bring out our food an then Jackson D asked about what drink I wanted an I replied I did not want the drink we have that I just wanted the food. Jackson D came out to the car an gave us the chicken strips with fries. And proceed to argue again that Ben did not say what I had told him. I asked if he had the information I asked for an Jackson D replied all I need to know (and he pointed to his name tag) I then said Bens name to him an replied see you know it. Then I asked for the receipts and once again he was rude an condescending he went back to the store to get the receipts. Once I had the receipts Jackson D made a comment that now your kid will have his food. At this point I wanted to tell him my kids are 26/29 yrs old an the meal was for my husband but I did not think he deserved a comment back correcting him. I just wanted to go. Not once did Jackson D say I am sorry for the mishap or sorry for the missed information. All he did was basically call me a liar! I WILL NEVER GO BACK to this store!!! read more

Chick-fil-A is a great place both for breakfast and lunch. They have great chicken and egg bagel sandwiches served with extra crispy hashbrowns. I'd suggest staying away from the cinnamon bites. They look like they are microwaved or come out of a warmer. The look is not what turns me off about them though. They just taste like they have a lot of preservatives which affects the flavoring of what I wish tasted like a homemade cinnamon roll. I have to say though breakfast is a little expensive, my friend and I got to value meals and it cost $16. They also have delicious tasting lemonade and it's hard to tell that it's really not fresh squeezed. They have a variety of different chicken sandwiches that are all tender with a wide selection of sides to choose from. The waffle fries are yummy. I think that it is very cool that this place is closed on Sunday. Supposedly the CEO says that Sunday is a day that should be spent with families and not spent working. I know this could be looked at from many different angles but being a man of faith, I respect this decision and find it quite honorable considering that they probably lose about 15% of possible profit by not being open on Sunday, one of the busiest days to eat out on. read more

The food is as tasty as you'd expect from Chick-fil-A. The staff that was here today was wonderful, very nice and helpful. The only change I would make is to have a larger playground area that also accommodates older kids. I would like to start off by saying thank you Tim for your outstanding customer service. My experience at this location has been nothing but amazing but today's experience was over the top, thanks to Tim. It was still breakfast as it was 7:00am and Chick-fil-A still had their breakfast menu up, but I was really craving a crispy southwest chicken salad. Unlike other businesses where they tell you to come back at lunch time, Chick-fil-A made me a fresh salad with a fresh chicken filet. Tim made me feel like he was genuinely happy to make a lunch item for me, and he did not hint in any way that it would be a hassle. Why 5 - Stars? 1) I didn't realize how ethically run this business was until I ate across the street at Red Robin (Red Robin Deer Park is a scam... see my other review). 2) Food really tastes great.... What do I love about this place more than their food? As a mother of 3 kids I love how they do kids events every Thursday night. Their kids events are so cute and unique! If you haven't been there on Thursday night and you have kids, I totally recommend going. Your kids will love it and so will you. The last event we went they had a Tea Party! It was beyond beautiful! I think I had just as much fun as my 6 years old daughter. They also have Home Depot coming once a month and they build all kind of fun projects that my 2 boys are looking forward every month. read more

Don't think of it as a nice place to eat, it's still fast food! I love their famous Chick Fil A sauce, highly recommend. The one thing that seemed a little strange to me was the chicken seemed almost soggy... I ate with a few friends, each ordering chicken strips, and all of us agreed the chicken tasted good but the consistency was a no. We shared a few shakes which were extremely rich and tasty, ended up giving them to the kids after only a few sips! I do recommend this place over any other fast food chain although it doesn't quite deserve 5 stars for me. read more

I would rate this higher, but I cannot count the number of times I've had my order messed up or items excluded ( salad dressings, toppings, dipping sauces etc...) at this location. Further, the bags are packed so full that you cannot check your order before driving away from the window, without tearing the bag and spilling the contents all over your vehicle. There is NO excuse for over packing the bags and as I frequent this location once a week on average, it is becoming an annoyance to purchase from this location. Therefore, I cannot recommend this Chick Fil A until service improves. While the staff has never been rude, it does not excuse frequent incompetence. read more

i have been to my share of restaurants and I understand u can't honor everything. But I received promotional cards for free breakfast sandwiches. 4 of the ones I got were from an event in downtown lake Zurich in September but the cards they gave me were expiring days later. I eventually tried to use today, obviously they expired but some restaurants take expired so thought I would try. They said the computer wouldn't allow it. Ok it happens. But I had two cards for breakfast sandwiches that didn't expire so tried using them. The employees said only one per person. So i calmly said that the computer may know expiration a but they can't tell how many people. I asked if they could just ring them up separate so that its 2 transactions and they wouldn't do it. I was trying to get breakfast for my family and was shot down at every turn. I get it, it's a business but then don't give me multiple cards at an event then. And there are plenty of other places that take expired or more than one promo. that was my first experience at a chick fil a because prices are already steep for chicken and fancy fries. The point of these promotions I assume would be to drive in traffic. But it's what you do with the traffic you drive in. I was drawn in, told I couldn't use the cards, and driven out upset and hungry. My kids were crying because I came home empty handed and ended up taking them to McDonald's for breakfast. Shame, I am definitely not going to chick fil a again. I get rules and guidelines but you got to know if it will cost you business then figure out how to make it better. read more

Would give this no stars if I could. I purchased a meal here and filled out their survey within the time frame to receive a free sandwich. I tried to use the code/survey receipt to get my free sandwich, but was refused because it apparently had expired. I questioned how they could verify the coupon was expired if there was no date listed. I spoke to Management who refused to honor the receipt and had no good explanation for their decision. They supposedly have great customer service, but this customer wasn't provided that so I won't be returning. read more
