But this is my first Chick Fil A review because at this particular location I happened to see the owner checking in with each table, refilling drinks, and helping her employees bring orders to the table. This is a weekly visit for us. We order online, put in our parking spot, and magically our food is brought out in a few short minutes. We long for the day when we can go back inside to eat. But for now, the Lowe's parking lot serves us well for our picnic in the car. read more

This fast food place is AWESOME! They know how to move the car stampede thru the drive thru! Wow. I time this cause I'm an engineer and we gots to know this stuff! 22 cars ahead of me and from the time ivory in the herd til I have my bag of mmmmm good stuff...IT WAS 7 minutes 34 seconds!!! That's 454 seconds or about 21 seconds per car! Fantastic!!!! Thank you!! Only 4 weeks until they move into the new location! A double drive thru lane! Update!!!! The new place is drive thru awesome. Chic-fil-A does and always will hold a special place in my heart. The consistency across the chain in terms of the customer service and food quality is unmatched in my opinion, certainly in comparison to other fast food chains. My experience here was pleasant, as per my usual CFA experience. I don't know that I can say I have had a bad experience at any location. I recently went to Popeye's out of curiosity and left disappointed, simply do to the lack of customer service and adequate work force, that's why I'm convinced looking back Popeye's will be seen as a fad and CFA will hold the test of time. Love me some Chick-Fil-A. The entrance to this location is just weird. I actually drove right by it, not realizing that the entrance was a service road that you have to get to a few lots before the actual Chick-Fil-A. If you're not from around here, you won't notice until it's too late. Once you figure out how to get near the building, you have to circle the it once before you can get to the drive-thru. I was unsure about this restaurant when I first tried it but then automatically fell in love. The customer service and short wait time for your food has to be one of the best parts. I've only had one bad experience at Chick-fil-A and all they did was forget my straw. Places like McDonald's and Wendy's don't pride themselves on having a great staff but that's one of Chick-fil-As top priorities. The food is very good and always feels like your getting something fresh. I'm very big on the temperature on my food and my food is never cold or old. This review is for the Chic-Gil-A property layout, it's horrible. My wife and I decided to go there yesterday evening and dine in. The drive thru lane was blocking the entrances to the eat in parking . After waiting patiently we turned down the northern most row and was promptly blocked from going any further by a huge truck trying to navigate a turn. After backing up and getting flipped off by the truck driver we proceeded down that row and the next, no available parking. We couldn't exit that last row, going towards Lowe's now, because the drive in entrance/exit traffic had us blocked. We gave up, We love Chic-Gil-A but this drive thru routing is ridiculous. Another car or two in line last night and the drive thru line would have blocked the exit traffic from Lowe's parking lot! read more

Excellent restaurant! I was really impressed with this location---a mouthwash station and free diapers/feminine hygiene products in the bathrooms (see pics). I ordered my usual--#1 without pickles (hubs gets his with extra pickles so we balance each other out), waffle fries and a diet lemonade. Eat it with the chick-fil-a sauce....soooo good. Then a small ice dream cone to pick up after we eat. We don't get to eat at CFA very often because they don't have them very many places in L.A. Always a treat! read more

They got our orders taken very quickly and did it with their pleasure.The only reason why I did not read them five stars was because The food was slightly subpar. One of the best "fast food" restaurants around. The food is great and the staff is consistently kind and courteous. A great place to go with the kids (playroom). I stopped for dinner on my way through to Indianapolis. I'm not sure what I had just missed, but the all of the employees looked bedraggled and dazed. There was only one cashier taking orders and when I arrived there were already three people in line and several others hovering trying to get ketchup or drink refills. It took longer than expected to get my food, though I think the fries were fresh so they get a pass on that. As I was standing at the counter with my lemonade, the cashier who served me only minutes before looked at me and asked, "Did I help you already?" Seriously. Dazed. The bathroom was a mess (again - I think I came in on the tail end of a rush) with toilet paper on the floor and the trash overflowing. It's ALWAYS a good day at Chick Fil A! Chick Fil A is one of my favorites in town. I ate it so much for a while that I've gotten "burnt out," but I'm never disappointed when I decide to return. The chicken is amazing quality - super moist, crispy and buttery. The fries are "okay," but I like mine slightly crispier/saltier. They're happy to cook them a little longer if you just ask. Service is ALWAYS super friendly, fast and accurate. One day I swung through the drive-thru on my lunch break, and I had actually forgotten my purse at work without realizing it until I went to pay. I have never seen a Chick-fil-A as crowded as this one was today, the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. The drive thru line wrapped all the way around the building and double backed on itself! We went indoors and tables were at a premium. My goodness the staff couldn't have handled the crowds better! They were efficient, accurate, great quality food was made.. Went tonight and I asked for a sweet tea with our meal. I guess they didn't catch it and I ended up having to go back around I also had to get more sauce they gave us two when we said a bunch. This was the second restaurant-proper I visited during my time in the States (holidaying as I was from England) and I'd heard some very controversial things about the Chick-Fil-A chain. Coming to the States I realise that religion? And how religion manifests in consumer culture? Is a difficult subject. To the faithful it's an expression of freedom of faith and good faith, to the liberal secular masses however it's an issue of pervasive, unwanted doctrine. I have no illusions of homophobic malfeasance through chicken consumption - nor imagined it of any of the delightful staff on hand at this particular outlet, but finding myself unavoidably considering such a moral dilemma in itself felt bizarre. Look, for corporate Christian American I have a polemic for you to consider: imagine it's not conservative Christian ideology backing your particular brand but rather Shia Islam. At what point would it be disquieting to consider such a thing? In a hookah bar perhaps not. Nor would I think twice of a luxury Persian rug outlet making unnecessary public outcries about disrespect of the Muslim faith. But what if the owner of a large, trendy fried chicken chain was speaking out against the current government's actions over the conflict in Yemen, voicing complaints secondarily against the human rights abuses, but primarily demanding the establishment of an Imamate in the region? Starting to feel your skin crawl a little? Yeah that's hard to shake off no matter how good the chicken is. Which is actually really good! Chick-fil-A really lives up to the hype. Me and my partner ordered a "deluxe" I believe? The big "burger" of chicken. Good grief what a meal. I didn't enjoy the peculiar fries they offered, but I'm rarely a fries-guy so I'll leave that for more avid consumers to comment on. The strawberry milkshake I ordered was phenomenal. Easily one of the strongest 'shakes I've drank in an outlet that wasn't specializing in them. Did I mention that the staff were polite and hospitable? In this particular chain they were very friendly, one "Tony" offered a top up for our drinks and I very dryly intoned that I could do with one for the Milkshake. He began to apologise for not being able to do so but quickly the irony of the suggestion caught up with him and he laughed it off. Very glad to see the American absence-of-banter is just a myth, the man was good fun and I hope he's paid well. Besides this however I'm still a bit puzzled by the aesthetic of Chik-fil-A. The quality of food certainly doesn't feel like "just another fastfood restaurant" but that's how the decor and furniture felt. So many bigmacs in my time ate in the sterile, consumer mittens of McDonalds felt echoed here, with the same corporate sheen blunting the looming sense of dietary discrepancies. Is the traditional slop-for-scum atmosphere really so crucial to keep toe-to-toe with overlords at KFC? And I do *not* like the advertisement campaign. The cows are a "no" from me. Feels a bit too "banksy" for my liking. I don't want to have to think about whether or not I'm in on the joke at Chik-fil-A, among the sundry other things I don't want to think about whether I'm in on or not. I rate the food a solid A The service at this branch an A But the overall sense of the brand a D. It felt confused to say the least. Everytime I come to Lafayette I always eat at chickfila considering where I'm from we do not have one. It is one of my favorite places to eat. Today was the first time I've ate there since my little brother had become an active duty marine. He got to come home for the holidays which was a suprise to all of us. So while in Lafayette today December 31st 2019 I took my little brother to eat there before heading back to his duty station. It was right around lunch time so it was extremely busy, luckily the service is always excellent and quick weather busy or not, but when asked if they did military discount they said they did not. Which took me by surprise considering surrounding areas offer it. I am disappointed mostly because out of all the fast food restaurants I figured chickfila would be the one that supported ours troops by offering this discount. read more
