Within 2 minutes of ordering and setting our drinks and sauce bin on the table, our order of 2 meals and a tortilla soup arrived - hot, crispy, and with kind words and smiles from the workers. After we finished, a lady walked over to offer drink refills and even cleaned up our tray (which I felt bad about because we always clean our table before leaving, but it was a really nice service gesture.) Overall decent for a fast food chicken joint. Ordered a 6 piece chicken nuggets for my kids and they were dried out and hard to eat. I was a bit frustrated bc we didn't eat till we got back to our hotel and I did not want to go back out with 2 young kids. I was impressed that they have 2 drive thru spots... At the first window where you pay they give you a little envelope with your sauces, napkins and straws. At the 2nd window where you pick up they tell you exactly what's in your bag before handing it to you. Nice touch. read more

I am a chicken lover & this place is "Chik'n Heaven" I honestly don't know where to start.. So I've only been to a Chik-fil-a once in my life when I was in Maryland. I've been salivating for it again for over a year. I recently bookmarked the newest location about an hour from my house. By the grace of God I was coming to PA to go to Sesame place with my daughter & Chik-fil-a is literally next door. When we walked in, I was like a kid in a candy store. So many options that I had to let the people behind me go ahead and place their orders so I could gather my thoughts lol. I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich, classic nuggets, grilled nuggets, waffle fries & lemonade. I also asked for all the sauces and for once in my life they offered me two of each without threatening to charge me extra like every other fast good establishment. It was at that point that I knew I loved this place lol. So they took my name and told me to take a seat and within a minute or two my food was brought out to me on a tray. Talk about customer service in a fast food establishment. I almost thought I went to a regular restaurant. Side note: they had these cute little plastic disposable place mats for the kids that stick to the table because everyone with a small child knows they like to eat of the table. I loved this because I am such an ocd when it comes to restaurants and my daughter. Now to the food. Of course I had to open all 6 sauces prior to sampling any part of my meal. I'm a sauce lover and I was in sauce heaven. Every one was really good. The only one I could do without was the buffalo. And the Polynesian sauce mhmmmmohmygod! I was a bit skeptical about the grilled chicken nuggets but they were amazing. So glad I had chosen that healthier option for my daughter. They had so much flavor like they were marinating for days. Just so yummy. Their chicken is just A1--excellent quality. For fast food, I really think it's better than the chicken I could buy in the supermarket and cook myself. Tomorrow is Sunday. I don't normally eat fast food but I have heard so much about how amazing the food is I had to give it a try. I have other reasons to skip trying chick fil a but I did try it so I won't go into it. The chicken is really good, the dipping sauces and the waffle fries are awesome. The staff is very helpful, they really want to make your experience a good one. They bring your food over to you if they can't get it together quickly, so you don't have to stand there. They come around to check on you. The place is clean. Clearly, the staff is well trained and supports the company brand. i have ordered their chicken tender party tray to take home and have for dinner over a few days - the chicken survives microwave reheating well. This Chick Fil A is located near Sesame Place. I see the employees from SP come to this place a lot. The SP rear entrance is adjacent to this restaurant. They have good friendly service and they seem to always get the line moving if one should develop. We have always gone here after we visit SP, too bad they close on Sundays. Most times you can always find parking, but they make you go one round to get to their lot. The food is always good here. Kids always enjoys coming here for lunch. I usually order the Spicy Chicken Sandwich deluxe with the waffle fries. Their salads are also very thought out well. The avocado ranch dressing with their Cobb salad is a must try. My kids hates eating salads but they will eat Chick Fil A's Cobb salad. I always like the fact they sometimes come to your table and ask if you want a refill. Other places like BK and Wendy's does not. I guess this what separate Chick Fil A and other competitors. Overall, nice friendly service with good food and I hope they keep it up. read more

We love their food. I buy the sweet tea two gallons at a time. The staff is friendly. The owner is very caring about his customers and staff. They are always busy but the most efficient at getting you in and out quickly. I wish Door Dash and other delivery services delivered from them to me. Situated closeby to Sesame Place it's a great place to get a meal before or after the park if you are hungry as prices of food in the park can get quite pricey. The drive through had a super long line so my tip is to park in the large parking lot and go for counter service as it was much quicker. Always go for the chicken fingers and the chicken sandwich as those are the musts and tastes great. Unlimited sauces to choose from and you can get as many packets as you want. Worst visit to a Chick-fil-A ever. We arrived five minutes before closing. Our order was taken but because the drive thru was so busy, our order took 15 minutes to prepare. I did not complain and the store gave me three voucher cards for a free cookie or ice cream. Halfway through my meal a worker came to our table and told us that we had to leave. That the restaurant had closed at 10 and they allow only a 15 minute grace period for customers to finish their meals. With our food out on the table we were forced to leave. On the way out the store some of the workers were laughing us. As we sat on the curb finishing my sandwich five Middletown police cars rolled up on us. Turns out these Chick-fil-A losers called the police to force us to leave. Bad reviews will be made and a call to corporate on Monday. read more

Before I start my review of this particular restaurant, I would hope that Chick Fil A no longer donates to anti LGBTQ organizations. So that being said, where I live there are no chick Fil a restaurants. We started visiting Sesame Place this summer and have been there a number of times this summer and we usually leave for lunch and have been heading over to Chick Fil A. The lines at the drive thru are outrageous. However, this restaurant is incredibly organized and efficient. I have never seen or experienced anything like this before and I have to commend the man who runs this place! I wish I knew his name. He is so polite, friendly, warm and welcoming... and so are the staff. I wish everyone was this kind and courteous. The world would be a far better place if everyone treated one another in this lovely manner. I am so impressed with the quality of service and efficiency of how everything is run. Well done! I don't know if they overheated/over cooked their chicken or whatever they do, but both mine and my husbands spicy chicken sandwiches were tough and extremely chewy. I took a bite and had to spit it out because I didn't know what it was.. took a couple more bites and did the same thing after each time. Ended up only eating the bread .. It was cow appreciation day so maybe they were swamped with too many customers but seriously, that sandwich was practically inedible. Very disappointed. I debated between 4 and 5 starts and finally decided that this franchise was (as the Yelp legend says) "as good as it gets" for a fast-food place. We visited twice in the same week, both after fun, long days at Sesame Place (see my separate review for that). We had never been to a Chik-Fil-A before, and this place had everything you'd want from a so-called quick service restaurant. Fast, friendly service. On one of the days, the person who took our order even volunteered to bring our food to our table. Our orders never took longer than 3-5 minutes. Delicious fresh food. The chicken nuggets and strips looked like they were made out of chicken (as opposed to the mystery meat inside McDonalds nuggets). Both the grilled and fried chicken sandwiches were tasty, complemented with fresh condiments, and generously sized. The milkshakes were topped with whipped cream from the kind of bottle you'd get at your local supermarket. The lemonade and sweet tea were fresh squeezed/brewed. Immaculate eating areas and restrooms. We especially appreciated this since we had to change some of the kids out of their swimming gear into normal attire. Comfortable, friendly environment, complete with a bulletin board featuring pictures and names for the staff -- and well-deserved kudos from customers. The air conditioner was set just right to counter the muggy Philadelphia summer weather. If all of the Chik-Fil-A locations are as bright and shining and tasty as this one, this is now our favorite national fast food chain. Yes, even better than (gasp) In-N-Out Burger. read more

I wish I could give this Chick-fil-A a higher review. I really do. But my reviews of food establishments come down to one thing: the food. And this Chick-fil-A just doesn't deliver. I LOVE Chick-fil-A. I've loved it since I was a little kid. I was so excited when this location opened up, because it meant I didn't have to go inside Oxford Valley Mall to get my fix. However, every time I've been to this location (and I've been plenty of times), I've always left disappointed. The staff is very friendly, which is typical of Chick-fil-A. The customer service is exemplary. The food is not. Every single time, my fries have been oily, soggy messes. One of the best things about Chick-fil-A is biting into a fresh, crisp, golden waffle fry. I've never had that experience here. The chicken is similarly soggy. The Chick-n-Minis, my favorite breakfast item, which are chicken nuggets on miniature buttered rolls, are never good. The bread is always chewy, sometimes downright stale. I live five minutes from this location and now, when I want to get my chicken fix, travel to the CFA on Roosevelt Boulevard in Northeast Philadelphia. Any time I've taken it to go and eaten it at home and it cools down a bit, the quality seems too be lacking. That aside, the regular fried chicken is awesome, though I typically get the grilled chicken which is a fairly decent way to eat healthy when you are going the fast food route. Their diet lemonade is also really good. The lines are ridiculous during the lunch hour. Come early or late if you can, just avoid noon. read more

So today I enjoyed a Chick-fil-A deluxe, no carb (Without the bun) and a smear of their wonderful honey roasted BBQ sauce and a yogurt parfait. When arriving there were 34 people in line in front of me, it was the lunch rush. There were 4 registers open at the counter and I waited less then 12 minutes to order and have my food delivered. Matt served me today, I think he is new because his receipt name said Rachael and I believe she was training him. Matt was very polite, friendly and offered a warm friendly smile, greeting and salutation. He's obviously going to fit right in. Rachael was closely monitoring him while she assisted others working the counter. Jodi was running shift I believe and she always keeps the place running smoothly with her focus on total guest satisfaction. She offered a warm greeting and smile too. The food was perfect, piping hot fresh and delicious. I heard a few teens complaining at the length of the line when they walked in the door. If only they understood the reason there is a line is because of great food and service. Love Chick-fil-A but I am really annoyed with a continual practice that I'm seeing in more than one location. That is not an exception here either. Chick-fil-A has great seasonal offerings as an example, peach shakes for the summer. However they stop offering the seasonal food but don't really tell you that it's coming going or about to end. The peach shakes are to die for. However I went to order one and they just informed me that they don't have them anymore. No sign or placard, nothing. On another note, this Chick-fil-A is outrageously busy during the summer. It is next to Sesame Place. They rerouted the traffic so it's a bit confusing but a good attempt.
